  2. This one didn’t age very well, when it was almost immediately revealed that the driver, who was pulled over for not wearing a seat belt, actually opened fire on the police officers *first*; he fired 11 shots and hit one of them in the arm. They returned fire and killed him.

    The Narrative quickly switched gears, though: the new one is that the police “should not have stopped him” for not wearing his seat belt.

    (yes, seriously…they really said that…)

    1. I watched that video several times. I don’t see how any sensible conclusion can be formed as to what took place based on that clip. My only observation is letting fear and emotion take over in a high stress situation leads to poor decisions all around. We probably never know exactly what happened unless there is a lot more video and context to the whole incident.

    2. While my respect for the police has been in the toilet these days, if someone fires even one shot at you you shoot to kill.

Sorry, took me a while buddy…traditional metal all the way to grunge (1969 to the late ‘90) is vast majority white males 15 to 70 years old…of course there are some exceptions, like anything else. I will tell you with certainty that most true metal head is not violent by nature…to many, a metal concert is a place to commune and blow some steam, talk about favorite bands but in nature they are non violent, just lovers of loud powerful walls of sound which metal is at it’s core. I recommend you watch the excellent doc. « Metal, a headbanger’s journey » to understand the psyche. Most metal, like horror movies is often geared to scare and shock with either the lyrics and/the stage imagery the young listener but the messages are mostly that in the end good wins over evil so beware to all, don’t fall in the traps of the devil.
        Is it Christian in nature, no but there is Christian metal as an alternative…as you grow up though, it becomes about the music, it’s structure, it’s complexity yes the message too but if it’s cartoonish caricature of worshiping Satan it typically remains underground with a very limited audience.

        Looking at The Antifa crowd though, I would say these are mostly composed of 16 to late 20’s at the most. They were raised on rap and hip-hop, maybe some new metal from the late 90’ early 00’.

  5. I have encountered a whole new phenomenon here in the SF Bay Area … people in cars who don’t move when the light turns green. I’m three cars back … and this jag off doesn’t move. Asleep at the wheel? Nope. Engrossed in a conversation? Nope. They are staring at/fiddling with the touchscreen on their dashboard. Yes, it is mostly Tesla drivers … but many other makes and models of cars as well … with big touchscreens. And yes, I have missed many of those green lights and have to wait through another sequence of lights.

    Do I want those people pulled over and gunned-down? Well, in the moment … yeah, I’d favor a hail of bullets. The transgression is certainly equal to not wearing a seatbelt, as it impacts ME directly … not just the unbelted driver. I’m gonna ask my local police to start POLICING these mostly-white trophy wives driving their Teslas and chatting with their friends on their touchscreens instead of driving. Hopefully one of them hops out of their car and charges the police. Just DROP her, officer … just unload your service weapon.

  6. Why was he wearing a “ski mask” (looks like a balaclava to me) on a nice spring day? Add in the heavily tinted windows and the pistol, and I have to jump to the conclusion that he was “up to no good”. And firing first just shows he was an idiot.

    1. Sounds like probable cause to me. Who cares about the seatbelt … pull him over for wearing the guise of a criminal.

  8. A couple things bother me. Why are there five or six cops for a seat belt infraction? Why did they pull their guns for a seat belt infraction? Watching 4 or 5 different body cams, I was convinced the cop on the driver’s side shot the cop on the passenger side. They threw a dozen or more rounds at the car with their buddy on the other side of the car. I would want the dead guy to be checked for powder residue to make sure he actually fired a gun.

    2. He was awaiting trial on firearms charges, which they would have known from running his license plate. He’d had legal trouble before, so you can find multiple mugshots if you search. That school grad photo is from 2019.

  13. Looks like they’re (media and white-hating elected black Democrats) getting a head start on igniting the race-riots.
    Non-compliance, neighbour’s security camera appears to show him shooting at the cop through the passenger window first. Deserved.

      So you missed the part where the female cop was ordering him out of the car and he was refusing? I guess you also missed him firing *first*, too…not much of an ‘execution’ if they have to wait to be shot at first.
