    1. Government advertising has long been a method to payoff friendly media. They would typically pay a much higher cpm than any actual advertiser, and frequently the ads did not even serve any purpose at all.
      How much of the CBC advertising revenue has actually come from governments over the years.

      The subsidy only came up because they could no longer buy enough ads or pay enough of a premium to keep the friendly media happy without giving the scam away.

            GDP is of course completely irrelevant to begin with as every bomb made increases GDP while every bomb exploded does not. German and Japanese GDP in 1944-45 was also growing.

            Russian munitions stockpile is exhausted, they are burning though current production. This too is well established.
