4 years ago you were still a “conspiracy theorist” if you thought it would be anything more than a minor inconvenience that would last less than a month.
Of course if you predicted that this would not last 2 weeks, but over 2 years; that within 2 months anit-lockdown protests would end in storming of state houses and false-flag FBI manufactured kidnapping attempts of Governors; that within 3 riots would burn a dozens of American cities; that the election would be inconclusive; that matters would go before the US Supreme Court, again; that a riot/mass entrapment would take place within the halls of congress… And then that this was just the Beginning…
That Big-Pharma would rush a vaccine which may well have been more dangerous that the virus; that Australia and various countries would build concentration camps for unvaccinated; that nearly all employers would be pressured or mandated to FORCE this vaccine on their employees; that vaccine passports would be implemented to track your biological status; that Canada and several other countries would implement travel restrictions on the unvaccinated and collude with their neighbors to prevent their population escaping; and then that, nearly 2 years from 2weeks to slow the spread, Canadians!? would mount one of the most logistically complex protests in human history, in the dead of winter, besieging Ottawa and blockading the US border to all trade in an apocalyptic showdown to break free of lockdowns…
Well… not even Alex Jones predicted all of that, though he got a remarkable amount of it.

The truth and those who wrote about it did so from the start. I could not understand why an old man like me could see what was wrong while so called brilliant people were screwing up everything and everyone. “They” are still lying and people are still dying from the shots. I do not think that there is an adequate number of intelligent people standing against this evil, and it is evil. There are a number of organizations trying to inform people but they are pushing against ignorance so profound it has become depressing . Yes the majority of “health” bureaucrats are ignorant as are the majority of politicians. Where do we go from here? I do not have an answer other than never complying with any government mandate about anything when it comes to my physical and mental well being.
The predominantly profound ignorance of which you speak did not occur accidentally … it has been carefully taught by our failing schools and Universities for decades.

I was in a veterinary clinic in Winnipeg this afternoon and half the staff were still in masks, albeit a couple of them were really sloppy about it – under chin and whatnot.
But one older couple were there with their dog — they’d developed those “staring eyes in round hollow sockets” that seem to be a trait common to the most serious of serious mask wearers along with NDP voters.
The lack of oxygen and increased inhalation of CO2 and bacteria will do that to a person.
In March 2020, I was in the Coachella Valley, CA, in my seasonal home when our deplorable PM told Canadians to come home and hide at home. I had an extra middle finger glass of wine on the golf course-mountain outlook patio, as the weather was just becoming perfect and seasonal flowers had emerged in my courtyard patio.
Hiding “at home” in California was excellent. My neighbours were hiding in their other homes elsewhere, so it was quiet. The open stores had food and booze plus seriously empty parking lots (Americans are WAY better at hoarding than slow-to arouse Canucks, most of whom stupidly left vacations, on command).
We did not know any serious facts then, which have now been revealed, thanks to this and a few other websites. I was listening, as elder boomers were deemed to be at risk.
Wearing a mask and sunglasses meant skipping make-up before going out to try to find TP. Fortunately, I bought stuff on sale well before March, so never ran out of anything. I did have problems getting my dog and myself back home to Canada, as lots of flights were cancelled, but we eventually returned in June from LAX, but this was a great early COVID hideout.
… I miss the near empty CA freeways of 2020-2022 … where I could drive 85 mph in peace and complete safety. So there is that. Despite the fact that Gavin Newsom authorized the CHP to arrest anyone who couldn’t provide a legitimate reason for driving I-5. Fascism didn’t creep SLOWLY into my State … it EXPLODED into it suddenly
It is absolutely Unchristian Of me But I hope To live long enough To urinate on the graves of my MPP, premier and the PM. They may think that ignoring any accountability for their actions will avoid any judgment in this world. I am becoming increasingly cynical that this is true. However it won’t help them a whit when they face the judgement seat in the afterlife. The persistent avoidance of the needed retribution on the politicians and bureaucrats will only stoke the bitter fury when truth shall prevail. When the contrarians witness the increasing carnage in their immediate families the pent up emotions may be difficult to restrain. GOD help us because we have had a bitter learning that the STATE will not.

Yup. Two years of hell. And here we were, waiting for our Conservative Opposition in Parliament, or our Conservative Government in Queen’s Park to speak out against the madness …. and we waited … and waited … and waited. And we’re still waiting.
Because I have yet to hear even a lame excuse (let alone an apology) from any of them about their two-year collaboration with a lisping despot and their tolerance of the criminal greed of pharmaceutical companies who, in concert (a) pissed on all of our freedoms and (b) destroyed the lives of so many Canadians and degraded the futures of all.
As you know Jamie, it ain’t a conservative government in Ontario, it is a PC government and Fat Bastard was about as bad as they got. Sask Party Moe coerced his population through withholding booze to the uninjected. Legault’s CAQ is supposedly ‘conservative’ but curfewed the province and wanted a head tax on uninjected. All of them run up debt and operate deficit governance.
I think what Ford, Moe, Legault think conservative means is different than what we think it means.

The more troubling question , which absolutely no one has even begun to address, is how EVERY world leader reacted EXACTLY the same with regard to the COVID narrative and NONE even remotely questioned the narrative. It was as though every leader went into some magic room and came out COVID lobotomised robot.
Call me a conspiracy theorist , but given the random background , education , temperament , intelligence (or lack thereof) , political bias etc. of the various COVID leaders , one would have expected at least some question or push back to the narrative , but there was absolutely NONE … sooooo …. What went on behind the curtain?
There were a few countries where some degree of common sense was applied; Sweden comes to mind. It would be interesting to determine why there but not here. Is there something different in the Swedish political process or history that made the difference? On the surface, I had Sweden pegged as a silly, socialist country that wasn’t much different than us. But in this case, they went a very different route.
You are correct , but Sweden only seemed reasonable because all the rest went off the cliff.
Apparently the Swedish Constitution specifically forbids the extremes that were visited on the rest of us. I don’t recall the specific bans, but it/they were enough that the Swedes were spared the worst – and their results were no worse than ours.

I had the impression that India and Russia were not wacko on Covid. The ‘west’ and its tribute states were clearly wacko.
That is because the “west” was the target, which continues on apace via other tactics like migration, climate shite, drugs, inflation, censorship, authoritarian governments, unelected global entities, media, divided people, perversion, and the relentless distractions that dumb down the dependent masses.

That event was a fantastic reminder of how easily the mask of civilized government slipped to expose the inherent war of the state and how, with some generated fear, the tyrants blossomed while the Eloi cowed.
