  1. Cliff is one polite, rich, Negro boy who can afford hot dogs AND the Auto Show… and he’s from Chicago no less. I guess they didn’t have any guns or drugs in 1972 … Cause that’s the only thing that’s changed since 1972, right?

  2. I gave it a couple minutes but life’s too short. In 1972 I was heavily into five finger Mary.

    1. In 1972 I had been married for several years, had been in our 1st new house for a couple of years, was building a cottage, was very busy working. My young wife and I enjoyed entertaining and each other. Dating, hmmmm.

      1. No surprise there – remember how a certain unnamed prime minister declared that “Canada will always stand in solidarity with the right of people to peacefully protest” somewhere else (I think it was in India), but also reminded Canadians “that if you are protesting, you have to be aware that you are breaking the law”?

That sort of egregious hypocrisy is very common among the world’s self-appointed “elites”, I find…

      1. “Why sweat it, SDA military experts have already announced that Russia has already lost – “Game over man game over” – June 30, 2023 at 9:18 pm ”

Yes, and despite that dire pronouncement plus the many economic sanctions levelled on them, the Russian economy stubbornly refuses to stop growing. If that’s what ‘losing’ looks like, sign me up…

    1. LOL, russian economy grew like German and Japanese economy grew in 1944-1945. You build a bomb,. GDP goes up. The bomb explodes, GDP stays constant. You build another bomb, GDP goes up again. See how it works?

Analysis | Israel’s Lingering, Aimless War Is a One-way Ticket to International Isolation

Over five months into the war in Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu is clueless in terms of the war’s attainable objectives, but resolute about subjecting its management to his political survival. If this trend continues, Israel will cement its status as a pariah on the world stage”

    1. When I was a kid a Jewish guy walked into my father’s shop and asked if he could hire me to help paint his kitchen. I agreed and rode over on my bike early in the morning that weekend. Shortly after I arrived the man brought out a lawn chair and set it up at the end of his laneway. He then escorted his very frail wife out to the chair so that she could bask in the sun. I noticed a tattoo on her arm and asked “Joe” why she would have one. He answered that she was imprisoned during the war and that was how they kept track of the prisoners. I was too young to understand.

Fast forward to 2024 and Hamas has launched an attack on Israel, killing more than 1,000 Israeli citizens and taking over 100 people hostage. That is a war crime. But for some reason, Netanyahu is clueless about the subsequent war’s objectives and yet resolute to his own political survival. I’m old enough to understand now and I hope Israel levels Gaza and eliminates Hamas. Then they can talk about a two-state solution. Until then everything is noise.

      1. Biden’s two state solution is Michigan and Nevada.

  4. Years ago, in Purchase and Sale Agreements I used, the Seller or Buyer was often referred to as he as in “The Seller agrees that he…”. Someone complained and we alternated he with she. Someone complained so we changed all references to he or she with they or their. Someone complained so we went through the entire Agreement template and removed any reference to gender including he, she, they, their such as “The Seller agrees that the Seller…”. Recently I was advised by my lawyer that we did not have a section on Gender or Gender meaning and he/him strongly recommended putting one in just to keep the diversity wolves at bay. So now…

Section 2.2 Gender and Extended Meanings

In this Agreement all words and personal pronouns relating thereto shall be read and construed as the number and gender of the party or parties referred to in each case require and the verb shall be construed as agreeing with the required word and pronoun. In this Agreement words importing the singular number include the plural and vice versa.

    Someone will complain.

  5. Smalldeadanimals censors you if you quote the Bible. Try posting Luke 17:2, they don’t like it!

    1. Jesus said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that stumbling blocks will come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him to have a millstone hung around his neck and to be thrown into the sea than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. Watch yourselves. If your brother sins, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.…

Police Scotland’s officers will investigate actors and comedians if a complaint is made under new hate crime laws.

Training, obtained by The Herald, states that material regarded as “threatening and abusive” under the Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) can be communicated “through public performance of a play.” …

  7. “I’m not going to lie. I wish that I could have delivered to them statehood for Palestinian people,” said McPherson, who championed the NDP motion, in an interview with the Star.

Heather McPherson, the NDP foreign affairs critic.
What arrogance and ignorance on display here.
The NDP are effen dangerous, they live in a bubble of self righteousness, totally unaware of the geopolitical consequences of Canada adopting her motion.

    1. Those not backing Israel need to be marched down a street IDF troops on one side and Hamas on the other and pick a side I guarantee everyone one of them would pick Israel or risk getting kidnapped or worse.Shameful behaviour on the NDP liberals part

  8. More fun for Ford, thru Zerohedge:
    https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/fords-hands-free-driving-under-ntsb-investigation-after-fatal-february-crash

Executive summary: the NTSB is investigating a collision on I-10 last month, which it suspects was the fault of Ford’s hands-free driving software. And I’m SURE that’s what it was – it happened at 9:50 at night, the Mach-E collided with a Honda CR-V that was stopped in the center lane with its lights off: “The crash occurred on February 24 in San Antonio, Texas, around 9:50PM. The driver of a Ford Mustang Mach-E, traveling east on Interstate 10, collided with a stationary Honda CR-V located in the center lane, which was without its lights on.”

    – WHY the other car was stopped in the center lane of an Interstate with its lights off at night, isn’t mentioned; but I’m pretty sure I woulda’ hit that Honda too. YUP – all Ford’s fault, yup, yup… One of my books said twenty years ago that U.S. tort law has devolved from “who was at fault” to “how much money does the defendant have that we can sue him out of?”

    1. Agree, TURN YER FRICKEN LIGHTS ON, at dusk.
Learn how your car works, walk around it at night and check the lighting. THINK, why are all these cars flashing thier lights at me?!

DRL are both a blessing and a bane, blessing for giving drivers just enough light to see at night without having to do anything (lazy) and bane for giving just enough light so they didn’t have to do anything, like activate the lighting system in ‘night mode’ so they’d have tail lights and proper headlights too!

Fortunately, my vehicle has excellent automatic lighting, (including tail lights) so much so that light switches never wear out, due to never being needed, but at least I CHECKED, when I got the car. Also, I can see a portion of each tail light in my mirrors..

      1. Further to the above, there’s one major failing of DRL. On a bright day, on an asphalt road with a little (i.e., not very much) wear, in a silver or light metallic grey car (VERY popular colours at the moment!), daytime running lights make that car nearly invisible. About three times I’ve d@mn near pulled-out in front of one of these; the car is the same colour and hue as the road, and the only contrasting thing the eye might catch-upon, the shadow under the car, is cancelled-out by the daytime running lights. Just as modern fighter aircraft show dull green lights at night (our F-18’s have them) to cancel-out their darker loom against the background of late-twilight skies with still a bit of light behind the fighter, to silhouette it.

I now won’t pull-out into traffic without looking hard in all directions a couple times; can you imagine the cops? “You COULDN’T SEE HIM? Today, in full sunlight? You must be driving drunk!” But it’s a powerful optical illusion, like the guy who passes you on a four-lane going 1 mph (or less) faster than you are – I also look real hard back over my shoulder when lane-changing, because our peripheral vision is tuned especially to notice movement – and that idiot is effectively, not moving, so we likely won’t see him out of “the corner of our eye”. Nearly hit someone doing that two weeks ago – and I always give ‘er a bit more throttle to pass, so I’m noticeably moving with respect to the car I’m passing and I’ll show-up in HIS peripheral vision… #SMH

    1. Freedland just said yesterday that our planet is at stake. If the Libs ease back on the carbon tax in the 8 provinces that have it, the world will end!!!! Pierre P is trying to MAID the planet.

How does anyone votes for as big and bold a liar is Freedland? Brainwashed cultists.

      1. Because she’s in a riding that would vote for a steaming pile of dog-doo if it carries the Lieberal Party banner.

        1. “would vote for a steaming pile of dog doo”

Actually did vote for a steaming pile of dog doo

  10. (USA) New DPS hire once told lawmakers Line 3 approval would be ‘met with violence’
    https://alphanews.org/new-dps-director-once-told-lawmakers-line-3-approval-would-be-met-with-violence/

The new “Tribal Relations Director” for the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS) once told the Minnesota Legislature that the state would be “met with violence” if it approved the construction of Enbridge’s Line 3 oil pipeline replacement.

Hired by Gov. Tim Walz’s administration earlier this month, Irene Folstrom is the new Tribal Relations Director for one of Minnesota’s most important government agencies. In a press release, DPS said Folstrom would “help guide DPS’ efforts to learn from and connect with the 11 Tribal nations in Minnesota.”

Folstrom, who once claimed to have dated Tiger Woods in college, is a Native American and a member of the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe. Prior to her hiring at DPS, Folstrom worked in government relations focusing on tribal and Native American issues. Among her work was her opposition to the Enbridge Line 3 oil pipeline replacement project…

  11. On the ArriveScam “contractor” …

    https://nationalpost.com/news/politics/dnd-denies-making-statement-that-arrivecan-contractor-and-former-employee-was-not-in-conflict-of-interest

A family member of mine was a “contractor” to the Federal Government for 15 years before she was able to get on full-time. Once a full-time employee they credited every year of her “contracting” toward her pension. It worked out to be equivalent to working as a full-time employee for 15 years.

I read the ArriveScam guy worked as a “contractor” to the government for 28 years. Wonder if he got a 28 year pension when he joined DND full-time?

  12. Al-Shifa Hospital…again?

Just raze it to the ground and be done with it. If the Hamas terrorists won’t stop using Gaza hospitals (and schools, and UNWRA facilities) for cover then just destroy them as soon as you obtain video evidence of those WAR CRIMES.
