      1. Memo to all: A I is not sentient. Like all computers it is programmed response. What you see is what someone wanted you to see.

        1. No such thing as AI. When the masses discover that, somebody is going to make a ton of money shorting Nvidia.

  1. Leo Kearse is a standup comedian who ran for Scottish Parliament last time out.
Fast paced funny (because they’re true) descriptions of current crazy cult issues.
May take several breaks to appreciate it all.

    1. They didn’t close the tobacco shop at Disneyland until 1990, Bunny. I was a smoker back in the ’70s and visited Disneyland 3 or 4 times. The only restrictions on smoking were on the rides.

I do have a recollection of visiting the tobacco shop to check out the pipes (I was a pipe smoker when not at work) but I didn’t buy one. I may or may not have picked up a pack of cigarettes, but it wasn’t something you gave a thought to back then. Less memorable than where you bought a coke at Disneyland.

  2. ‘Don’t Have Troops To Fight’: Ukrainian Forces Cry For Help; Russian Assault Decimates Kyiv’s Army

“Ukrainian Army is facing immense challenges as the war with Russia enters its third year. Ukraine is “outnumbered, outgunned and ground down by relentless Russia”, reports Reuters. Ukrainian Army complained about lack of manpower and resources to battle Russia. The Army said there is no replacement for soldiers who had been killed, wounded, or signed off due to old age or illness. Watch for more.”

But, but, but muh stuck in the mud and fighting with shovels!!!

The Zel will wind up like Mussolini.

      1. And the usual voice pipes up from the kiddie table:

“Russia can withdraw at any time.”

…generating the same answer as always:

Yes, or they can STAY for AS LONG AS THEY LIKE.

    1. More hopeless propaganda from the Shitstain Pravda. Exactly what low IQ Pootin fellators want to hear.

    1. …say the censoring of the documents stems from saving Health Canada from embarrassment…

      Quelle surprise…

  3. “Washington no longer perceives an Israeli defeat as its own defeat. It no longer feels obliged to help it, against its will, in the massacre of Gazans. On the contrary, an Israeli victory would be a defeat for the United States, incapable of maintaining peace and complicit in a massacre.”

USSA, Inc. has abandoned Ukraine and appears ready to abandon Israel.

  4. Everything you ever wanted to know about the Lake Mead water levels.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wI5V4N2fXUM

Biggest problem is over-allocation of water (more water is allocated than flows in on average – a recipe for draw-down). Also evaporation and transpiration have been found to be much higher than historically estimated (as much as 9%). Water allocation for the Colorado River (including Lake Meade and Lake Powell) is being addressed in 2026 and will likely be reduced (bad news for states that have been running low on water).

    1. Steve
I was there this past December…checking out Hoover Dam while on a 10 day stay in Las Vegas. I would say the water level is LOW…damned LOW.!!

Given much of the Hydro Elec created there is destined for LA…Seems to me “dark” times are near upon them….let alone lack of potable water..??

    1. And another, from New Jersey this time:

      https://www.prlog.org/13008057-citizens-of-mercer-county-nj-sue-election-officials-for-voter-disenfranchisement.html

      An excerpt:

      ————————————

Some facts to highlight from it for the 2022 election:

The improper move to provisional ballots and recording errors concerning these ballots resulted in at least 759 voters having their votes rejected when they should have been accepted. These voters were disenfranchised.
Other voters do not know if their vote was counted as the electronic poll books do not show them as having checked in.
Entire bags of votes were misplaced, bags and machines containing ballots were not properly sealed, and at least 1,500 ballots were found left behind in tabulators six days after the election. Chain of custody was destroyed.
No tally sheets were created contrary to state statute.
The counting of votes was not continuous and public contrary to state statute.
There is a 4,849-vote discrepancy between the number of votes the County reported to the public and the number of Election Day votes the County reported to the State and this discrepancy has not been resolved.

    1. Fine. The grounds maintenance crews will buy a whole bunch of electric lawn equipment. It’s OPM (Other People’s Money) after all.

Then let’s see them put in extra electric service to charge all the new equipment. And then it’s only a matter of time before a battery goes poof! and somewhere a maintenance shed goes up in smoke.

So as not to be a Negative Nellie, I do think it will work out far better than electric buses. But the changeover won’t be like just flipping a switch.

    1. Reader…this stems from as far back as the early 50’s if I recall correctly During Eisenhowers term. CIA wanted to utilize Islam and its adherents against what was then the Communist Threat of the USSR. Then Came CAIR and others…

They were never here for the good of North America – they came because Hassan al Banna (creator of the Muslim Brotherhood), and his “PROJECT” directed them to come and slowly infiltrate the entire country.

The PROJECT..? To Create An islamic Caliphate throughout the Western Hemisphere.

  5. Why the CIA is hiding the ‘Putin Loves Hillary’ report
This past week independent journalists Michael Shellenberger and Matt Taibbi revealed that Obama’s CIA honcho John Brennan doctored the critical January 2017 “Intelligence Community Assessment” (ICA) to make it appear that Vladimir Putin favored Trump for the presidency in 2016.
These journalists contend that the CIA is currently hiding at its headquarters a 50-page report asserting the opposite, namely that Putin favored Hillary.

    1. “In this one-sided CBC piece (by Yasmine Hassan), all space is accorded to pro-Hamas Muslims, and Liberals denying they are anti-Hamas. Jews not allowed in the story.”

And obviously no commenting either. Wouldn’t want to risk finding out what the public really thinks, right?

  6. Apparently, letting your customers eat all they can does not lead to more profits.

    https://www.the-sun.com/money/10460920/red-lobster-makes-change-deal-customers-losses/

Red Lobster did announce an “all-you-can-eat” for 150 lucky customers during their new lobster promotion but they limit the number of Maine lobsters to 12 x 1.25 lb, before you have to switch to rock lobster tails.

Who the hell can eat 15 pounds of lobster? In one sitting? Chicken wings maybe.

  7. It was a record year – 2023 – for zero-carbon energy which generated 41% of US power, the largest emitter in the country by industry.

    https://www.businessinsider.com/us-renewable-energy-transition-solar-electric-vehicles-hit-records-2024-2

Knowing that, you wonder how much CO2 emissions dropped in the USA in 2023. They dropped 1.9% due mostly from the transition from coal to natural gas (which set a record for use).

Interesting fact(?). Wind and solar have no emissions!
