Wednesday On Turtle Island

Dementia Joe’s America:  U.S. intel agencies and the media.  The White House makes a phone call.  How Biden botched the border.  A BLM week of action.

Today In Communism:  Italy remembers the Foibe.

Blackie’s Canada:  Freeland borrows half a trillion more.  Toronto’s socialist city council emboldening Jew hatred.  Today Climate Justin burns jet fuel to socialist Edmonton. He will explain to his loyal media how wonderful he is, and trash the premier about gays.

Your morning meme.  A cartoon.  Another cartoon.

  1. Trudeau burns jet fuel….. I don’t give a damn about the fuel as CO2 is not a problem. The real problem is the rampant unrepentant hypocrisy. The evil ba$tard is crapping on you/us every single day.

  2. ‘..increase federal borrowing this fiscal year to a record $517 billion. The figure is $73 billion higher than projected…’

The current deficit for this fiscal year is $444 billion? That can’t be right. I would think a $73 billion deficit would be horrendous.

    1. The reported deficit is around $40,000,000,000 but my suspicion is higher with an honest accounting. The total borrowing includes refinancing of maturing debt, probably at 2% higher rates, adding $9,000,000,000 in interest cost, in perpetuity. It gets ugly fast, now.

      1. Thanks for that, I suspect there’s some creative bookwork going on. But I wonder where Blacklocks gets the $517 billion deficit. Maybe it’s a typo and supposed to be $51.7B?

  3. Ref: Italy remembers

Several years ago we watched a TV interview of celebrity chef Lidia Bastianich. She tearfully recounted how her family had been persecuted and driven out of their homes by communists because the territory had been given to Yugoslavia by the Allies when Tito had moved into it at the end of WWII.

It was one of those tragic sideshows of WWII that I had never heard about. And I guess it would have been in everyone’s interest not to advertise it.
