Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Hits keep coming for Boeing. From this morning – https://nypost.com/2024/02/21/us-news/passenger-captures-shocking-video-of-wing-coming-apart-on-united-flight-making-emergency-landing/
It’s a (slat) Not that big of a deal. I would guess they had a bird strike.
Notice it’s made of honeycomb.
Leave it to the MSN to sauce this news up.
I agree, blown way out of proportion. It’s like a paper cut being treated as a heart attack.
“The Boeing 757 originally went into service in 1994 with Continental Airlines, ”
Probably not a design flaw?
Yep.
Well, as my Mama used to say – Burton, when one door closes another falls off a plane.
Bless her heart.
Nice.
Who really wants to go to San Francisco, anyway?
I wonder, has Boeing’s stock price suffered from the serial revelations of incompetence over the past 3 years?
I wonder because I believe the Fed is ‘supporting’ key DOW Jones players to create the impression of a booming economy, and to keep suckers buying the dips. Boeing is a bellwether stock, and a tumble in its stock value’d take others down, too. This makes it a likely target of Fed “intervention.”
And so, if no product flaws, or airplane malfunction, or shady foreign parts procurement can dent the company’s bottom line, then it reflects the level of government interference in Boeing’s stock price and, therefore, in the value of America’s bourses.
In short, the stock market gains of the last 15-20 years, or more, are fake and driven by fraudulent price-fixing by our central government.
Is Boeing hurting from these slanderous news hits, or not?
