  1. Good stuff!!!
    Thanks Kate!
I use the micro lock which is absolutely deadly in holding and keeps on closing when prey struggles.
The 1/8 wasn’t available before and it’s very flexible still and extremely powerful.
Back when I was a kid, only the 1/16 and brass were available.
Using eye screws really makes quick work.
Making runs for your prey even a bear to follow.
Only a kink can break this which is just about impossible with it’s thickness.

  2. Amazon has really good stuff in kits of 100 foot with all kinds of bells and whistles in 1/8 stainless steel airplane coated wires really reasonable priced from China but the quality is outstanding.
Bells and whistles caught my attention to what I want to do with it.
After our government tanks and it’s a free for all as it’s currently illegal.
Bear meat and Deer meat won’t be much of a problem then.

      1. Thank you for the clarification…I’m sometimes too cryptic.

…goes off to order snare wire…

        …and a TON of OTHER ESSENTIAL STUFF…

        1. I used to set snares for rabbits when I was a kid. Even then I thought it was too much work after one winter of doing it. If starving, that of course would be different.

  3. I just got triggered by the children getting triggered. Yeah … working on my trigger skills Kate.

  4. How Dare You?…episode 3,119
Reader posted elsewhere today that PETA is asking carousel – makers to cease using animals; because, you know, oppressed fiberglass animals.

There’s a linkage in that to the essential question in today’s world, which is who is sane, and who is not.
