   The hearing is important because the evidence that Israel is violating the Genocide Convention will be presented in summary form. Israel will respond, but it has nothing relevant to counter the evidence. It will be interesting to hear its arguments.

   The Court will certainly issue the provisional measures, but Israel will not stop its genocidal onslaught. Courts don’t stop wars.

   The Order that will be issued to Israel is, however, is highly relevant for the later hearings on the merits of the case.”
