I read it about 10 years ago. A good friend told me that he read it way back in the decade of its publication, the 1970s, and dismissed it as totally unrealistic.
But here we are!!
I have not recommended it to many people because, in this hysterical racialized age, it is too easily condemned as racist; it isn’t except in the most superficial sense.
I have recommended it and loaned my copy out ever since I read it 5-6 years ago. Yes, absolutely predicted the current state of the world in stark and terrifying detail.
I found it available in English, the one I’m glad I snagged more than 10 years ago …….but the price is $155.
What could go wrong?
