Once a show has run its course, there is no saving it. You can cut ticket prices and hire cut-rate actors, you can promise new sideshows and free beer, but these measures are but life support. Sooner or later the acrobats are swinging and the magicians are stuffing flea-ridden rabbits into worn top-hats and the elephants are balancing precariously on balls before empty stands, and it is time to fold up the tables and the tents, lead the animals back into their cages, hitch the wagons to their teams and seek business elsewhere. Thus the Covid Circus in the Federal Republic of Germany finally folded up shop and left town in 2023.

    1. When that first started I’d always ask whoever was on the other side “How do you train those little Covids not to go through the open areas or around the sides?

      1. I was still working then in retail, and we knew perfectly well how stupid it all was. 2 things: we wanted to remain employed, and some folks were genuinely terrified and wanted those plexi walls and masks and no amount of arguing or explaining was going to change their frightened minds.

        Between the masks and the plexi, we often couldn’t understand one another, so we’d both lean around the plexi to hear clearly. I flat out refused to install some of the plexi they sent me, plexi that was meant to go between two cashiers, each working their own checkout on two sides of a “pod”, working back to back.

        I also told staff that I was not going to, nor should they feel obliged to, wear a mask when there were no customers in store.

        In the end, I submitted my retirement papers and was done the day before I was required to be jabbed. I will never forget, nor will I forgive, the gov’t that forced this madness on us (looking squarely at you, Bonnie Henry) and my union who threw us under the bus by climbing into bed with gov’t (looking squarely at you, Stephanie Smith of the BCGEU).

        None of it made any sense, and I said so frequently and publicly. No-one ever argued with me, and many agreed with me and said so forcefully.

          1. Yup. They keep trying to resurrect the panic but almost no-one is buying it. The only reason they haven’t re-imposed mask mandates and plexiglass is they can sense that the public has had enough and most won’t stand for it any more.

            Here in BC they have re-imposed mask mandates on medical offices, clinics and hospitals. The people who work in them agree it serves no purpose health-wise but they have to go along.

        3. You should join the Class Action suit, filed on behalf of fired and coerced BC Gov employees. Umar Sheikh is the lawyer. Former head of the BCNU, he knows the players and how shameless they all are, including SS.
          My wife is in that group, and we are all in suing the bastards.

  2. I never went along to get along, kept my government enforced mask down around my chin just to annoy the Covid fanatics. I will never surrender to those covid fanatics.

      1. I also wonder how many medical experts and government snivel servants have off shore accounts after the vaccine mandates? Once I was stopped and the person pointed to the sign– must wear a mask, I state I am wearing a mask I thought she was going to have a stroke. I pointed to my chin at said mask, next thing I know about five of them jabbering like idiots were yelling at me to pull it up and one tried to-not a wise thing to do. I walked out of the store and will never go back. I did read an allegation that doctors in Canada were paid per each jab-not sure if it’s true but if it is they are in serious legal trouble?

  3. We’re still urging the poison jabs on Canadians over six months daily in tax payer advertisements. All the mainstream media are still putting out stories every day about crowded ICUs, overwelmed staff, and health ministers are still begging us to get jabbed. Mask mandates and vax mandates are still being forced on health care staff. The show is far from over in Canada. IN fact I am expecting a lovely encore of the insanity to be inflicted on us all again next month.

    1. Big Pharm has to recover all the money they invested in developing and manufacturing the jab. It’s always about maximizing the money to be screwed out of the taxpayer.

  5. This racket was going on in late 2022 in Ontario. Dr. Keiran Moore, the province’s Chief Medical Health Officer, was demanding that Ontarians wear masks at indoor events including family members as late as November. This fraud was caught when he was violating his own rules.

    Lying bastard. He was echoed by a few other wankers in the medical profession as seen in the video clip. And his “communications” thingie was modifying extensively Moore’s actual quote afterwards.

  7. Much the same here. At the beginning of the month, my 98yo mother was on her way out. She was sent to the local hospital and I went to visit her there. A sign at the entrance to the emergency department said to wear a mask, but I immediately noticed that many of the staff were barefaced, so I didn’t put one on. As I was guided to her bed, I would say less than half of the doctors and nurses were wearing them.
    She was transferred to the local hospice for her final hours, and nobody was masked there.
    The following week I had an eye appointment and the optometrists had been quite zealous with masks etc. Again, maybe half the staff were masked. I remained barefaced.

    It’s over, save for a handful of outliers.

    Our collective new year’s resolution should be: no more covid!

    1. True. While that incompetent bitch Bonnie Henry has decreed that masks are required in health care settings, a recent trip to the local hospital showed only a few nurses there were masked, and none of the patients, myself included.

      1. Lucky you. I don’t know what city you’re in, but here in Prince George everyone in the hospital is masked – they hand one to you as you come in the door, and if you refuse, security will escort you out. Even the guys handing out mask agree it’s useless and unnecessary, but if you want treatment, you’ll have to go along with it.

    The guilty are very busy,shrieking “Nothing to see here,move along”.
    As the victims slowly gather their wits and start to scheme..
    We know so many things,that we only suspected prior to covid..
    Of our Dear Leaders and their willing minions,yes,they really are “That Stupid”.
    This being a confirmed fact.

    The thing that will linger on,will be the idiocy and arrogance of a bunch of “helpers” who no one wanted or needed..yet they really are/were to stupid to realize this.
    We can live without them.
    They cannot survive without us to sponge off of.

My brother was dying of brain cancer during year one of Covid, and mask mandates he was transferred to hospice care at the end but get this: They made him get the clot shot and he ended with Barr syndrome, then they forced his four sisters to mask up when we went to visit him in hospice. He’s dying of brain forking cancer and they nearly kill him with an experimental shot then when he can’t quite articulate who his sisters are they force us to visit masked up which scared him near to death. My sisters go on the hospice yearly walk to raise funds, will I- hello will freeze over before I’d raise a dime for a hospice that did that to a patient that they swore and oath to do no harm to. They took away his ability to eat via the clot shot with his inability to chew then they took what comfort we could give him via masks covering up who we were. I will never forget, and I will never go to a doctor again unless I’m in a coma and have no say.
