As a free speech absolutist, people should be able to say whatever they want as long as it is on their own dime and their own time. If it’s considered abuse of a position that’s different. 5. As the award winning TV weatherman Bill Matheson used to say, If everyone is thinking the same no one is thinking at all. Sad but true. I can disagree with Israel’s actions without being anti Semitic. I and have sympathy for the Palestinians without supporting Hamas. I saw a very interesting video with a Christian Palestinian talking about his Christianity and his experience growing up in Gaza. One of the most heart breaking moments was when he described when he was about 10 his mother shooed her children into their house because she saw a Israeli settler coming toward the kids playing in the yard. Sadly she wasn’t quite fast enough and was shot in the back by the Israeli settler.

      1. The rest of the story is that the Jewish settler went hunting hun rats as he had come to view all Palestinians and found a target. She was just a mom looking after her kids. There is evil on both sides here and we are not helping anyone by being strictly partizan. Evil is evil no matter who is doing it.
