  1. No real technological advancement as magnetic drive technology isn’t being developed properly as materials could both float and a timer attraction to steel added.

  2. The Fall of Russia’s Gas Giant Dulls a Key Tool of Putin’s Power
    https://finance.yahoo.com/news/fall-russia-gas-giant-dulls-230003797.html

“One of Putin’s first big economic campaigns after taking power in 2000 was to reassert control over the country’s massive energy wealth, which included installing allies at Gazprom and clawing back assets. Then he turned it into a tool of foreign policy, weaponizing gas and crossing a line that the Soviet Union didn’t dare.”

Apparently, the fvcked-up midget was so fvcked-up he actually believed that his pathetic kleptocracy was stronger than the USSR and is now paying a price for his foolishness, he and his subjects.

      1. Sure, there’s only one person on planet Earth who doesn’t like old Poo and his ideology of Ruϟϟischeschweinism. That person posts under millions of different IDs.

        1. Someone sent me this link recently:
          https://twitter.com/WRH_Mike_Rivero/status/1716424225207062846

“Putin’s message to the USA about Iran: “You won’t even have time to see what hit you”!- Russia became the first country with supersonic Strategic Forces!”

I hate to burst their bubble but supersonic is not a big deal for a missile. ICBMs have been “hypersonic” for decades. However, the altitude that the new hypersonic missiles fly at makes them dangerous.

          https://theconversation.com/how-hypersonic-missiles-work-and-the-unique-threats-they-pose-an-aerospace-engineer-explains-180836#:~:text=ICBMs%20are%20launched%20on%20large,not%20as%20fast%20as%20ICBMs.

          1. “U.S. officials have expressed concern that China’s hypersonic glide vehicle technology is further advanced than the U.S. system.”

Really? So who did they steal the technology from, then?

          2. Yep, good article. Technically it is fair to say that the first hypersonic missile was V2.
Meanwhile back in the real world: (i) russian top missiles have been repeatedly successfully intercepted by a Patriot system that is a generation behind the current model. (ii) The impenetrable air defense bubble and lawyered air defense of S-400 backed by shorter range systems has been penetrated with ease by a generation old cruise missiles like Storm Shadow and recently by 30 year old ballistic missiles. There is a bit of a pattern here.

Good video on the hyper hyped hypersonic missiles here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0n3fjoacL20&t=5s

      2. That is a first nice thing you have ever said about me. Unfortunately I got nothing positive to say about you in return.

    1. “Then he turned it into a tool of foreign policy, weaponizing gas and crossing a line that the Soviet Union didn’t dare.”

Hilarious – It’s written as if the west has never weaponized natural resources or used banking/ sanctions against “hostile nations”. Regardless Biden blew up or sanctioned the destruction of Nordstream, you can lie to yourself but everyone else knows it, and even Europeans are starting to point fingers in that direction.

It was Donald Trump that warned the European globalists not to rely on Russian Oil & Gas supplies, but they did. Now the BRICS nations are dumping US treasuries and moving away from dependence on the US/ G7 monetary system.

      Live and learn I suppose.

  3. It’s official: China’s giant Country Gardens real estate development company is now officially in default:
    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-10-25/country-garden-default-on-dollar-bond-declared-for-first-time#:~:text=(Bloomberg)%20%2D%2D%20Chinese%20developer%20Country,the%20world%27s%20second%2Dbiggest%20economy.

Foreign owners of U.S. dollar debt can expect to get five cents on the invested dollar, with the China dictatorship taking steps to save the small Chinese investor. But this default will have deleterious effects worldwide.

    1. Only a fool would invest in China.

Doesn’t the Canada Pension Plan invest a lot of our money in China?

  4. Many vegans miss the taste and texture of real meat and are constantly searching for replacements. Witness the rise of the veggie burger (tastes like a real hamburger!) or cauliflower-based chicken-like nuggets. Well weep no more carnivores.

Introducing cauliburgers, a meat-based product that has the look and feel of real cauliflower. Using a patented process, conventional hamburger is bleached white and combined using a proprietary clumping process to produce a product that looks and tastes like real cauliflower. All the good taste of cauliflower with the protein of ground beef. And its made from ethical cows.

The next time your vegan mom is shopping for pea- and soy-based tasty burgers, ask her to make it a cauliburger. You won’t be disappointed.

    1. Maybe the are targeting the same market as Mulvaney was, those who already love the taste of piss?

    2. When I was a colt I worked a winter at a Vancouver terminal grain elevator. We received prairie grain by the train load, cleaned it and shipped it worldwide. It was standard practice to relieve yourself into the grain.

      1. Or as the old joke goes:
why is America beer like having sex in a canoe?
        It’s fvcking close to water.

  5. Inside a Massachusetts family’s elaborate scheme to defraud the lottery out of $20M
    https://nypost.com/2023/10/25/news/how-a-massachusetts-family-scammed-the-lottery-out-of-20-million/

A Massachusetts father and his two sons used a covert network of convenience stores and tax-shy scratch-off winners to defraud the lottery of more than $20 million, officials said.

Ali Jaafar, 63, of Watertown, had tried to pass off his winning streak as luck — but the lottery commission launched an investigation into the “factually or statistically improbable” results, according to the Boston Globe’s reporting on the saga Tuesday…

  6. Toronto police charge 228 people, recover more than 1,000 vehicles worth $60 million during year-long probe
    https://www.cp24.com/news/toronto-police-charge-228-people-recover-more-than-1-000-vehicles-worth-60-million-during-year-long-probe-1.6616664

I see none of the media are releasing the names, presumably to protect those charged.

Results of Project Stallion: more than 1,000 vehicles recovered and 550 charges laid
    https://www.tps.ca/media-centre/news-releases/57742/

Many of those charged were on criminal probation from the “justice” system.
