  1. Finally, a bit of spine. Also enjoying the hysterical sobbing of Tlaib and Omar. Also about this ‘genocide’. I can’t get clarity from any observer. Are they saying that ever since the creation of Israel they been randomly just murdering non-Jews in the region? Or are they talking about the mass killings of non-Jews in Gaza since 2005? Huh? Or are they talking about Israel’s response since 10/7? I’ve seen arguments that butchering, raping and kidnapping the elderly, women and children is a legitimate military action. Whatever Israel does militarily is fine by me.

  2. As I have posted before, I love history. I am a centrist, leaning right economically and slightly left on social issues (I hope you have a wonderful sex life, I do not need to know about it!).
In talks with like minded friends and family, we have long thought that the pendulum has swung too far left and will be swinging back to the right with a vengence.
Perhaps this is the beginning of the swing back.

  3. But laying off thousands of coal miners, steelworkers, production staff is OK?
Our progressive Comrades sure whine when they get the horn.
    All they do is whine.
And still they never realize the obvious.
We can live without them, they provide us no benefit.
They cannot survive without us and the work we do.
Will banishment from our society provide them with a “clue”?

  4. Good. But it won’t do as much good as you probably think it will.

The rulers of the Nations hate those who fear the Lord. That is not going to change before the coming of the Messiah. The most Jews can expect is that the “elite” keep their opinions of the Jews to themselves.

By analogy, consider the pedophiles. There have always been men in high places who enjoyed raping and even murdering children for sport. The blood libel began as a way of framing the Jews for their own crimes. All that’s changed is that they now “groom” children openly, not secretly.

  5. I recently retired after being a Prof for 40 years. I once had a class threaten me that they wouldn’t write the final exam in a class saying “You can’t fail all 46 students”.

    And then I did.

15 years ago management wasn’t too happy about it, but it was accepted (then).

I had about 4 show up to write, and they all passed.

About 10 years ago we were informed that we were no longer allowed to submit a mark of 0 for a student, even if they never came to class, handed in any assignments, or wrote any exams. A coworker contested that decision until he was hounded into retirement.

I was able to assess an “Incomplete” for a year until that was also outlawed. So as much as it chuffed me I just handed in a mark of 1%, even though that single mark was not earned.
