  2. My wife is originally from Toronto. She lived next door to a Jewish family and her family and them were very close friends. She was especially close to one of the daughters. That daughter moved to Israel many years ago, got married and she and her husband joined a Kibbutz and raised a family there. We just received news that, last Sunday, she and her husband were murdered by Hamas terrorists, as were all the rest of the members of the Kibbutz who were home at the time. Every man, woman and child – some of them butchered beyond recognition.

    My anger at this news is beyond description.

    1. I have to say something, but I just don’t know what to say. I would offer my prayers and condolences if you think it would help, I would share in your anger and indignation towards these blood-thirsty savages, but I don’t know if that would make you feel any better.
      I’m just stunned that something like this could happen, that there could be so much hate, with governments showing little to no sympathy, and worse yet, that there are people cheering on this savagery. It just goes to show everyone that events half a world away have a way of affecting just about all of us.
      I guess all I can add to that is my sympathies to you and your family and friends. I will grieve with you as I grieve with all of the victims’ families during these insane times.

I live in Saskatchewan.Good down to earth people.We don’t have many federal seats in parliament but all of them are conservative.Reading about union leaders,US congressman,the United Church to name a few who back Hamas is beyond sickening.My father left home in 1941 and returned in 1946 I had to read that in an old newspaper as nothing was ever said about it that is how humble these people were.Let’s quit talking and writing about Libs of tic toc and union leaders and focus on the real heroes of this conflict.

I’ll leave all this ‘how did this happen?’ speculation in the garbage heap where it deserves to lie. Hatred exists.
