    1. Of course not! That’s why the Liberal win most of the time, their base knows it’s all just noise.

While Conservatives panic over every “flip-flop” their leader makes, Liberals remain true to their Leader despite his failures.

(To the tune of Its a long way to Tipperary)
      It’s a long way to twenty-five
      It’s along way to go
It’s a long way to the next election
And the CPC will F*** it up,I know.

  1. Every Parliamentary politician individually decided to stand up and wave support and yet none are taking the shocking claims seriously and admit to a mistake…passing the buck doesn’t cut it here.
All of them are guilty…ignorance isn’t an excuse!
Staying quiet individually just add to the fact that this government is one voting block and nothing will change as the actors are voted out.

    1. Like my MP who was angry that I called him out. He claimed Hunka could have been with an independent regiment. He then went in a rant about all the atrocities committed by the Soviets. I reminded him that based on the bad history I would have been suspicious. Because he’s a proud Pole, I pointed out he should be aware of the massacre of ethnic Poles who lived in the Ukraine at the hands of Mr. Hunka’s unit.

      1. He’s still going to get elected again. This is Canada. We’ve decided to follow Argentina and Venezuela off the national suicide cliff.

    2. First, most of the MPs were just handed this event as a fait accompli with which they were expected to go along. Second, only the Lieberals who were promoting this would have known the full background of this man, and they weren’t saying anything.
Third, refusing to join in to the standing ovation would have led to serious repercussions. Think Rob Anders and his refusal to rise to salute Nelson Mandella.
As a counterpoint, given the horrendous treatment of Ukraine by the Soviets, one can understand a young man wishing to join an army – any army – that would potentially free his country from Soviet oppression. The history of eastern Europe at that time is very complex, not least because the dissolution of the Austro-Hungarian empire post-war WW I had various emerging countries vying for territory.

  2. To be fair, when the German army invaded, Ukraine was suffering the utter brutality of communist Soviet occupation. Everyone has heard about the Holocaust, how many have heard about the Holodomor, the deliberate starving to death of 4 million Ukrainians in ’32-’33? ALL Ukrainians saw the Germans as liberators, why wouldn’t any young Ukrainian man want to fight the Ruskies? Hunka wasn’t a Nazi, he just wanted to fight the commies. Only later when the Germans started rounding up Jews and shipping them to the death camps were they seen for what they really were.

Who is worse, communists or Nazis? The commies killed more people, yet they’re basically given a free pass.

Media should tell the whole story.

    1. For the most part I don’t see people demanding we arrest the guy. But that doesn’t mean we should give him a standing ovation either. I can see a 17 year old who watched Stalin kill most of his neighbours joining an army that is attacking Stalin, but I don’t want anyone to refer to him as a Canadian hero.

      1. Exactly.
So who in Ottawa thought doings so was a great idea?
And after the abuse of all our rights and freedoms, while labelling all who protested as “Wavers of swastika”,who would be so “smart” as to have our entire political class stand up and applaud a real and self confessed WW2 NAZI?
This is either an immense own goal or a beautiful piece of political satire.
Either way,the obvious has been demonstrated 338 MPs plus the Senate proven too stupid to breath unassisted.
fertilizer is smarter than our elite voter selected “leaders”.

        1. I have never thought that highly of politicians but I was still really surprised and depressed to learn through this situation how dumb and ovine they actually are. We elected these people to lead us. Wow.

      2. @Greg Alan

A 17 year old fighting the Soviets with Germany’s Wehrmacht is completely understandable, but that is not who is being discussed here. It is the Ukrainian’s who willingly joined the Waffen SS, who were trained in concentration camps and committed atrocities across Ukraine & Poland. That’s who was honoured in the Canadian Parliament. Read the other links I posted on this SDA thread from the Polish perspective.

    2. They had a choice of joining the Wehrmacht or the Waffen SS. Of the three major divisions of Ukrainians, two were SS and one was Wehrmacht.

    3. “To be fair, when the German army invaded, Ukraine was suffering the utter brutality of communist Soviet occupation. Everyone has heard about the Holocaust, how many have heard about the Holodomor, the deliberate starving to death of 4 million Ukrainians in ’32-’33? ”

Yeah, the jury is still out on that one:

      ——————————-

The Holodomor,[a] also known as the Great Ukrainian Famine,[b] was a man-made famine in Soviet Ukraine from 1932 to 1933 that killed millions of Ukrainians. The Holodomor was part of the wider Soviet famine of 1930–1933 which affected the major grain-producing areas of the Soviet Union.

While scholars are in consensus that the cause of the famine was man-made, whether the Holodomor constitutes a genocide remains in dispute. Some historians conclude that the famine was planned and exacerbated by Joseph Stalin in order to eliminate a Ukrainian independence movement.[c] Others suggest that the famine was primarily the consequence of rapid Soviet industrialisation and collectivization of agriculture.

Ukraine was one of the largest grain-producing states in the USSR and was subject to unreasonably high grain quotas compared to the rest of the USSR.[d] This caused Ukraine to be hit particularly hard by the famine. Early estimates of the death toll by scholars and government officials vary greatly. A joint statement to the United Nations signed by 25 countries in 2003 declared that 7–10 million died.[e] However, current scholarship estimates a range significantly lower, with 3.5 to 5 million victims.[8] The famine’s widespread impact on Ukraine persists to this day.

      ———————————

Deliberate? Maybe…maybe not. Maybe just the basic inherent incompetence of the communist system itself.

Killing or jailing all the smart people right off the bat is a recipe for disaster (ask Mao or Pol Pot).

      1. “Maybe just the basic inherent incompetence of the communist system itself.”

Whether Communist, Nazi or any other authoritarian regime “by any other name” they are all equally Evil.

My gripe here is with people who praise Ukraine’s current authoritarian regime rife with actual Nazi worshippers who are at the very least highly accepted or tolerated, while demonizing the entire Russian population who are not Communists.

Is Putin an authoritarian? Who gives a rats ass, they both are, and so are our current governments. As far as I can tell Putin treats his people better than Zelenski does, and they like him. Citizens and tax-payers of all countries, especially us, should be saying enough is enough.

Cut off our funding for this BS and fix a few roads, they’ll work it out.

        1. “Whether Communist, Nazi or any other authoritarian regime “by any other name” they are all equally Evil.”

          Agreed.

“Is Putin an authoritarian? Who gives a rats ass, they both are, and so are our current governments. As far as I can tell Putin treats his people better than Zelenski does, and they like him. ”

Also agreed. People who can’t wrap their head around Putin’s apparent popularity haven’t studied any Russian history.

“Citizens and tax-payers of all countries, especially us, should be saying enough is enough.”

Already happening, all over the world (even in Europe).

  3. @Dirtman

Unfortunately they don’t mention the Soviets in this one either, regardless you can forward this one onto friends and relatives as well since the Liberal MSM won’t.

“Ukrainian authorities are “wrong” to erect monuments to war criminals, Poland’s ambassador to Ukraine told the BBC on Saturday. Kiev’s continued veneration of Nazi collaborators like Stepan Bandera is a source of “real pain” in Poland, he said.

“You say that war is no time to deal with the dead,” ambassador Bartosz Cichocki said in an interview with the BBC’s Ukrainian office. “But I can answer you: war is also not the time to erect monuments to criminals and name streets after them.”

By “the dead,” Cichocki was referring to the murders of between 40,000 and 100,000 Poles between 1943 and 1944 in the regions of western Ukraine and eastern Poland also known as Volhynia and Galicia. The Volyn Massacre, as the entire ethnic cleansing campaign has become known, was carried out by the UPA, a paramilitary wing of the Nazi-allied Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN).”

  4. “When Trudeau was elected in 2015, he was seen as a breath of fresh air, a charismatic departure from the outgoing, stodgy Conservative prime minister Stephen Harper.”
Anyone that isn’t a Trudeau Cult Member knew things were going downhill with the Lieberals returning to control. A very rank polluted breath of air at best. “Sunny ways” would only be experienced when heavily stoned on pot.

  5. “When Trudeau was elected in 2015, he was seen as a breath of fresh air.”

And how many people knew he was nowhere near that? Just as predicted, he has proven to be a national embarrassment. A real country would have had a massive general strike to oust this corrupt fop……but alas……

      1. I was in a Cypress Hills hunt camp the night Trudeau was elected in 2015. I’m from Ontario, the other 6 hunters were all Albertans. Only me and one other weren’t cheering Trudeau.

  6. When you realize his main objective is the destruction of Canada and western democracy and replace it with fascism everything else falls into place.

    1. Oh, please. Trudeau wouldn’t know fascism from a hole in the ground. He’s actually as incompetent as he appears, which says a lot about the Canuckleheads who vote liberal.

  7. Any man or woman with an ounce of humility would have resigned long ago. Mind you this goes for all his supporters in cabinet too. Again this goes to show just how unserious we are as a country where the general population doesn’t demand this.

  8. Shrug. When Shaggy Maggie hit the discos because turdo la premiere couldn’t scratch her itch anymore, our MSM went into full “poor peeyair” mode. We can count on them to run the same kind of cover for poor embattled Joostaihn.

    1. And Sophie Gregoire is a minor Prophet of the Old Testament the way she stepped out of the way and let Justine self immolate on the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch.

    2. Almost. But Mr. Bean was charmingly likeable; Castreau is beneath contempt.

I prefer the Aussie tv commentator’s observation that juthtin is the kim kardashian of international politics.

  9. Watching that gaggle of MP’s stand up and clap looks a lot like a giant “Asch Experiment”.

  10. Yeah, this too shall pass no pb. Because Conservatives are going to rabbit holes: how bad/not so bad Hunka was. what were the conditions there and at that time and other crap like this. And PP argued that Parliament was in danger because of a Nazi in there 🙂
That’s why these guys win, Libs/Dems are Evil Party, no matter how bad they fare, they have no shame whatsoever, no morals + loudmouth. Repbs/Conservatives are Stupid Party – always splitting hairs, going into rabbit holes and arguing over semantics.
Another proof that Conservatives are Stupid Party: why no one pushed for motion of non confidence? Yeah argument is that it would not have passed. But at least the whole thing would have been discussed + some Liberals are upset.

    1. I mean all Conservatives + some of the Liberals + some NDP and Quebeckers would have voted for the motion. Media keeps pushing for the Idiot but I’m pretty sure things are not so rosy inside Librano Mafia circles. Same for NDP.

  11. you give Justin too much credit, debating his lack of competence or his real intent. He is but a mere soldier taking orders from the higher ups. There will be a change of batter before the next election in an attempt to right the ship.

  12. Simple question for every Member of Parliament.
“What are you going to do about all those (Over 300) NAZI Supporters in Ottawa?”

A recent public event revealed approximately 700 enthusiastic Canadians Loudly and Proudly giving a Former SS Soldier not one,but two standing ovations”..
I thought Parliament had told me that being a NAZI was wrong..
As an after thought,my MP is so retarded,he will start a search and investigation, never ever cluing in that he is the Nasty.
