  1. Colby Cosh: UBC covers for bad science in homeless cash transfer study

“The press release is positively celebratory: it bafflingly declares “The cash transfer worked.”

It would be more accurate to write “We couldn’t really show that the cash transfer worked, even though we imposed zany and unrealistic experimental conditions designed to give it a maximum chance.” But that’s not the kind of thing university communications staff are paid to write.”

  2. The Fraser Institute just published a report on public sector vs private sector job growth since the COVID era. Net (national) job growth in the public sector between February 2020 and June 2023 was 11.8 percent in the public sector and just 3.3 percent in the private sector (including self-employment). BC and the Maritimes were obscene in public sector job growth and private sector non growth or shrinkage. Given that the national employment is already roughly 1 government employee with 10% better wages and benefits than the private sector for every 2 workers in the private sector which is likely already unsustainable through taxation, the increases in the public sector are compounding the bankruptcy. https://www.fraserinstitute.org/studies/public-and-private-sector-job-growth-in-the-provinces-during-the-covid-19-era?utm_source=Email&utm_campaign=Public-and-Private-Sector-Job-Growth-in-Prov-during-COVID&utm_medium=Dev_email&utm_content=Learn_More&utm_term=550

        1. Was there not an issue with statscan and the turd government, with statscan omitting or fudging numbers to suit the turds? I do believe there was. It was to make turd look like there was a polished end.

    1. As long as all public service workers and there families are fully vaccinated to protect all of us, let them hire anyone and everyone that desires to work there.

It’s an eventual time saver feature…

I wonder how many of these hires are covering for other workers now too sick to work?

    1. And that is all there’s to the Ruϟϟischeschweinen “robust space program”: a dent in the Moon surface (basically, less than nothing). With less than worthless freaks like Popovkin, Komarov and Rogozin heading Roscosmos the Circus for decades, who would be surprised? Only the resident schweinie-lovers, I suppose.

  3. Too bad NASA doesn’t have any underwater craft on Earth, otherwise they could locate FobosGrunt (the previous milestone of the Ruϟϟischeschweinen extraterrestial exploration) and show it to the world. With love to Roscosmos, of course.

    1. Why are we giving any money to ethnic/religious( based associations? Are we also giving money to Catholic associations?

  4. Sondors electric bike company going bankrupt?

    https://insideevs.com/news/684487/sondors-financial-issues-undelivered-metacycles/

“As a concept, the Sondors Metacycle was an enticing proposition: $5,000 for an urban electric motorcyce [sic] with a sporty, futuristic design. There was, however, a huge catch, and it’s that customers had to pay the complete amount upon ordering the Metacycle.”

    How did things work out?

“Sondors’ headquarters in Los Angeles are now “permanently closed.” Furthermore, the Sondors website doesn’t even allow you to make any pre-orders for any of the brand’s bikes. It appears that no one in the brand’s marketing and PR departments remains employed at the company, as the brand has been unresponsive to inquiries by both the media and its customers. Naturally, this has resulted in already angry customers becoming angrier.”

    1. Greenworld ls littered with the carcasses of Solyndras and Proterras. Much like wars in foreign nations, every Democrat who ascends to the presidency must have a signature green bankruptcy.

  5. Why negotiate for peace when you can have a nuclear war.
Russia deploys Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles Putin says will make world ‘think twice’ for combat
Putin is sending ‘strategic messaging’ to the US and NATO that the ‘nuclear option in Ukraine remains on the table’
in Russia’s view because of its conventional inferiority vis-à-vis NATO. This is why nuclear weapons have always been the centerpiece of Russia’s war-fighting doctrine. The longer this conflict drags on, the higher the risk of a direct war between Russia and the U.S.”

      1. I know, it is not the Trudeau media you so trust. and as a good useful idiot you are better to keep your head in the sand and ignore the risk of a nuclear war with Russia. There are many who want to kill Putin, what is there to stop him from setting off nuclear missiles if he thinks he is going to be killed, you think he has a conscience? He is a madman after all.

        1. LOL, GYM has attention span of a retarded amoeba, he has seen your name and confused you with Alan S, and so he tried one of his characteristically blind, impotent jabs. Another battle of wits among unarmed combatants.
