The last munucipal election I voted in, you fill in the circles beside who you are voting for, the ballot goes into the counting machine, counts the votes, and is then immediately shredded. No ability to even hand count to verify the vote. At least the people working the election get to go home right as the polls close…….

No shredding; the ballots should be kept after the machine vote in case hand-counts become necessary or are demandeed. How can the Arizona guy find a pretext for prosecuting people who hnd count
I used to joke around saying that all the perceived fraud in elections was window dressing. A dab here…a dab there, but nothing substantial. And, what it was really hiding was that the representative that presented the vote tabulation to the Attorney General was the actual nexus of the larger fraud. They could, conceivably, provide any total they wanted to present. If you streamline the supervision such that only one person (or even a handful of people) would ever see the cumulative results (which would be presented for certification to the Attorney General) you could throw the entire state without much effort. The checks and balances in place are electronically based, and easily corruptible.
But, when I see an attorney general threatening prosecution of those bold enough to count (by hand) the actual votes, I’m forced to consider that my sense of humor may be lacking.
It’s who counts the votes. Anyone got a pool running on how long before the shooting starts?
I hate to say it but it would appear that is the only resolution forthcoming. The Communist has no fear of the written law nor enforcement of it. Unfortunately they are also itching for a trigger point to go all revolutionary. However there is a lot more guns and bullets in2023 USA then 1917 Russia. But it is important to remember there were 2 revolutions back then. 1st to overthrow the establishment then the boleshvek (sp?) Revolution to seize power. Whatever happens it will be messy to turn back 100 plus years of socialist/Satanist infiltration

Quit being so obtuse. The Attorney General of Arizona took the time to send a formal letter informing all jurisdictions that they did not have the authority to manually hand count votes. Do you think such a documented effort of formality is based in altruism?

Yes…Just to clarify, you have no legal authority to do X. Pretty sure every law I can think of has an explicit or implied “or else”.
I find it amusing that Mayes won her seat at Attorney General by 280 votes. She was ahead by 511 votes until a hand recount of only a portion of the votes. There are still over 4,000 provisional ballots that the Mayes camp fought tooth and nail to keep from review. She was certified into her position without review of these ballots.
And, now, she is dead set against hand counts. Let’s discuss Conflict of Interest statutes.

Election day 2000 I was in Milwaukee WI outside Marquette university.
Community orgainizer offered me two cartons of newports or marlboros and a hot breakfast if I’d just get on the coach bus for an hour, be driven somewhere to register to vote. Here’s a list of who to vote for.
Bus was full of homeless people and college kids.
I declined. Cigarettes were still cheap back then.
