  1. It’s not much of a religion (not a science) if the question “Is climate change real?” has to be asked.
This man, along with his idiot handler are fools with power, and that’s a very dangerous thing.

  2. Make sure you turn off the access of oil from the Middle East so the East can feel the same as we in the rest of Canada.

    1. Without coal, oil and gas billions will die. Nothing can be manufactured with those fuels, nothing.

  3. Alberta and Saskatchewan would be one of the wealthiest nations on the planet. Or we could just keep sending our money to the people trying to destroy us. Whatever.

        1. “Nope. No interest in becoming part of the US Gong Show.”

I’ll take their gun laws. And taxation.

          1. Hey Fred, I second that! Plus really it’s a choice of gong shows, I’m not sure which is worse.

    1. Doug Ford was saying this week that Ontario’s population is growing at 500,000+ per year. Mostly due to Trudeau’s hyper immigration policy. In one election cycle Ontario’s population grows by SK and MB combined. Now do you understand why they don’t give a shit how you vote? Your vote does not matter to them. Get out or disappear.

  4. Burning electrical combines and tractors in the middle of fields will be a site to see. Spend half the charge just getting to location as well.

  5. Freezing the electorate to death in the dark – somehow an effective political strategy in Canada.

  6. So?
    We separate.
    A win win.
We get to control and profit from exploiting our own resources.
Ottawa and the Bloated Eastern Bloodsuckers get to signal their superior virtue.
And under such conditions,Can Ahh Duh has lowered their “CO2 Emissions” and The new nation can stop pretending to care about the idiocies and fads of “First World Problems”..
    Everybody wins..
Then Can Ahh Duh goes bankrupt and Buffalo vacuums up the resources and Land that we desire, leaving the rest to the Quebec Empire..

Because we remain stupid, locked on retard.
Alberta and Saskatchewan should be imitating everything Quebec has done.
As currently Quebec is the only true Provincial Power in Confederation..
They have shown us the way..
And every Quebecer I know, tells me it is not Quebec’s fault that the Ottawa Parasites believe they can bribe them.
Sure the money comes from the Resource rich West, but only Ottawa believes spending this wealth on Quebec is “Good”.
How do you say “Thanks Suckers” in Quebec dialect?

If Moe plays this right, citizens of Western Canada, who currently insist that Separation is madness, will come to agitate for Independence from Canada..

Going from mocking those of us who say an Independent West is impossible to avoid,to demanding to know why we have not separated already..
Justine the Petulant and his Children’s Court..leading the stampede.

    1. I love it, can you take us peasants in Manitoba with you ?? We have lots of hydro and a deep water port in Churchill.

    1. Exactly. How about giving us all the carbon you’ve “captured” … yeah … captured like The Ghostbusters captured “ghosts”.

  7. What are the benefits for Alberta and Saskatchewan to stay in the Canadian Confederation? No economic reasons. No political reasons. Ottawa Liberals openly display their hatred of our two provinces and our economy but central and eastern Canada keep the Liberals in power.

Our trade is heavily reliant on US customers. The various Canadian cartels (dairy, eggs, airlines, banks, telecommunications, etc.) only raise our cost of living. Canadian carbon taxes are making our products less competitive in the world market and reducing every citizen’s standard of living. Healthcare access is pathetic and costly (taxes). The courts are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Liberal Party of Canada so quit pretending they’ll ever rule in Saskatchewan’s and Alberta’s favor.

Take over our share of the CPP, implement the planned provincial police forces more quickly then begin the process of building support for separation. Curb energy supplies to central and eastern Canada as leverage, if necessary. Ignore the Trudeau government’s stupid climate edicts.

    1. LC

Since the Nat, Energy Program destoyed Albertas economy back in 81, there has not been ANYTHING the feds have done to help Alberta…its TAKE TAKE and threaten for 45 yrs….pretty sure I’m not alone in that.

      F em all,

Its long long overdue…and IMO shoulda happened in 1980. Those Liberal bastards derailed my carreer for near 10 yrs.

      Independance or BLOOD.

      1. I was young during NEP. I remember lots of angry adults trying not to swear around the kids when talking about Pierre Trudeau, the Liberal Party and the NEP.

Today, the situation and anger feels much the same as then.

        1. LC

It’s identical, with a significant rise in the utter derision I have for that pissant in the PMO.

I Pray for a Ceaucescu ending for boy wonder…daily.

          1. LC and steakman, that was 42 years ago! Still no independence and still no blood! I’d support a Western separation movement in heartbeat, if there was one (even though many want this Eastern bastard to freeze in the dark). Still waiting. Honest to God, I was so hopeful when Jason Kenney was elected; I was looking at real estate and ready to pack my bags. A recent trip to Calgary left me feeling hopeless. How the West was Lost.

(BTW, Ceaucescuing is too good to be hoped for.)

    2. You’re just forgetting a crucial but seemingly straight forward step. Have new, modern treaties worked out with the indigenous bands of Alberta and Sask in advance. They could include resource ownership on their lands, profit sharing, and new agreements on healthcare and property ownership and rights for the people on their traditional land (reserves).

      1. Yep. Aboriginal people have also been abused and mistreated by Canada’s federal government. Offer them a better partnership than the crumbs and hollow symbolic gestures that Ottawa gives them.

        1. The Indians are more than happy to accept Sodom-on-Rideau’s MT platitudes, as long as they’re accompanied by billion $$$ cheques. No way they give that up for a partnership w/ Whitey.

          1. I wouldn’t guarantee that. They’d know a good deal if it was presented to them. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity for a do over on the treaties they feel they lost badly on. The existing treaties are woefully outdated and obsolete.

      2. Give them the one thing that allows for the creation of generational wealth, the individual ownership of property… end canada’s communist construction of the reserves for the benefits of the hereditary “chiefs” and their hanger’s on.

        1. Yes there are many constructive ideas that could be negotiated with aboriginals to produce a better, more prosperous future for themselves and their children.

          1. “Yes there are many constructive ideas that could be negotiated with aboriginals to produce a better, more prosperous future for themselves and their children.”

Yes, as long as those ideas include money. Lots and lots of money.

          1. To Fred,

Yes lots and lots of bags of money. Preferably in small unmarked bills and without any accounting. Don’t want to inhibit the chiefs and immediate family and favoured friends from enjoying their windfall

  8. We have hardly any land unclaimed by natives, we would have a country 10 miles squared.

    1. “We have hardly any land unclaimed by natives, we would have a country 10 miles squared.”

In BC, the natives have claimed 130% of the province (overlapping claims).

  9. Invite Quebec to leave and take the psychopath Guilbeault and Spawn-Fuhrer with them. Once Quebec separates, they will get rid of Trudeau and Guilbeault as their prime political consideration will be survival instead of shaking down the ROC. Those two degenerates are human missiles fired at us from the largest metaphysical equivalent to an Indian Reserve in Canada.

  10. Put Guilbeault in an Orange Jumpsuit again.
Oh, and ankle chain him to Blackie, and the short others, namely Seamus, Omar, Frankie, Bill, Davey, and all the Turd’s Cock Us.
You, too, Perogy thigh and Anita and Mel la Jolie.
OK now I will yet again dry heave.
    Have a nice day.

  11. // unabated fossil fuels — oil and gas projects that don’t rely on technology to capture their emissions. //

So by announcing that this clearly means that the feds want to ” completely shut down our energy sector.”
is Moe admitting that his carbon schemes don’t amount to … abatement?

  12. Turn off the taps NOW! Within 2 weeks, Eastern Canada will be in absolute turmoil. Do it now!

  13. Western provinces should separate. BC would go as would Manitoba if Alberta and Sask leave. Once that occurs I would move there.

    1. Nope Manitoba won’t go.
BC would form a quasi association with Washington.
      No port, no real trade.
Landlocked death spiral. Unless we find a way to be like Switzerland we would end up like Kazakhstan.

      1. There are many landlocked countries who have no issues w/ trade. Hungary is one of them.

And, not that I give a damn about the UN, but they also guarantee access to tidewater for trade for landlocked countries.

      2. What would happen if Canada attempted to landlock Alberta and Saskatchewan? Alberta and Saskatchewan would probably stop trade moving east from BC and moving west from central Canada. Canada would have trouble exporting products through its pacific ocean ports and importing products from Asia.

Alberta’s and Saskatchewan’s energy pipelines and railways and roads with its biggest trading partner, the USA, would be unaffected.

    2. BC…yea,

….BUT lets ensure we DISSALLOW the Lower MAOland, the Okanagan & the Island. That would prevent the 5 million Marxist parasites living there from being included in the nation of BUFFALO

  14. I’ve been thinking about the covid madness lately and I’m pretty sure it was hair lisp who’s responsible for mask mandates in Canada too. BC’s covid nazi was anti-mask until it suddenly changed and it was a national thing just like the vaxx papers. By far the worst prime minister ever and I doubt he’ll ever be dethroned from that title.

    1. NDP had to wait til they won election. They were always hard core maskers and vaxers

  15. Meh. Let the eastern bastards freeze in the dark has been threatened since the days of Ralph Klein

    1. Well now it’s time. I mean really, how long must a battered spouse stay in a toxic relationship?

  16. Yes, Minister Guilbeault. Of course we can run our country on unicorn farts, which, as you know, are pure hydrogen. The deplorables in the West will get a great reset and a just transition to unicorn fart-catching. Thus, the nation and the planet will be saved.

  17. A little off topic, but not by much.
I guess now would be a good a time as any to announce that I am heading west.
Yep. People keep telling me if I hated Ottawa so much, why don’t I just leave?
Happy to oblige them. I secured some property in Sask, and I hope to be heading out in a couple of months, and I’m looking forward to it. By the looks of things, it would be just in the nick of time. I do not want to spend another winter here knowing what’s coming down the line.

GYM would be keen to learn that my property is right next door to a Catholic Church!

    1. Good for you, fc. Would love to hear how it works out; please, keep us posted. Hubby and I are also looking at Saskatchewan.

    1. Us too, from Ontario last year. Alberta was bad during the plandemic, but Ontario was next-level. We should have done it years ago. I think it’s important for right-leaning Canadians to congregate and fortify in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Recognize your surroundings, being freedom and liberty conscious is a losing battle anywhere else in Canada.

  18. What they want and what they are going to get.. Is defeat come the next election.. Not that they next guys aren’t going to pay lip service to the green religion.. Just what do you think? the minister of the environment is going to do? weather reports or push the politics baked into his post?.. Its just dumb to expect anything else out of this guy..

    1. I truly believe that the Conservatives will win more seats in the next election. I also believe that the Liberals will hook up with the NDP again and by doing so will form the government once again. Liberals have found their path to permanent rule, and they will continue to exploit it while taking away our freedoms. Canada is dead.

      1. Remember… It’s not about how the votes are counted. It’s about who’s counting the votes!

  19. I would say to Moe. There are two ways to learn.
Figure it out for your self…or ask an old person.
    One comes with more pain!
Has come with more pain! For those you claim to serve.

Some of us advocated for western independence in the 80’s and have never wavered.
But have you ever consulted with us? No. You put your finger in the wind now…testing for direction. New revelation for you but not for us.
What are you going to do? How much courage do you have?

Mulroney made us angry. Manning hoodwinked and betrayed the west with a fairytale. But has a great pension. Blew through a lot of sweat and treasure.
Laugheed and Blankney and Romano claimed if we would only give them the mandates they would defend our province’s from the ever threatening “golden triangle”.
Only to drink champagne with our federal masters and sell us down the tube with a disastrous for us “amending” formula.

The Sask Party and PP’s party is rife with unprincipled liberals (someone who’s own interest is not at stake at the moment)

We need some western Canadian founding fathers or this land of ours and the freedoms that 3 generations have enjoyed will be lost to those we leave behind.
    “Free The West”

    1. The biggest mistake made by the Reform Party was running candidates in places like metro Toronto, etc.

      1. True, just remember creeps like John Baird. But then again, Jason Kenney used to be hardcore Reform and look what happened to him. Anyways, in hindsight, how naive were Reformers and Preston’s vision of working within the Canadian framework? Separation is really the only way forward, and it certainly doesn’t have any apparent downside. It can’t get any worse, that’s for sure.

  20. Hard to believe that there is anybody in AB or SK that thinks canuckistan can be or is worth saving. Mind you there are many out here that make their living off government scams just like in the east.

  21. Things just never seem to change…..it seems that Lougheed wasn’t tough enough with Comrade Pierre Trudeau and ever since then, we have had patsies as Premiers….hopefully Smith breaks that string.

“The major factor behind the NEP wasn’t Canadianization or getting more from the industry or even self-sufficiency. The determinant factor was the fiscal imbalance between the provinces and the federal government. Our proposal was to increase Ottawa’s share appreciably, so that the share of the producing provinces would decline significantly and the industry’s share would decline somewhat.” – Marc Lalonde quoted in Liberal David Kilgour’s 1988 book, Uneasy Patriots.

In other words, theft, pure and simple.

  22. In this CON-federation westerners that are not members of the provincial “clubs” have been like the dog that was beaten every time he was fed…no matter how little, he would come for his beating every day.

  23. You are right Art about Manning and running candidates in the east. Something he had promised NOT to do.
A promise he planned to not keep.

Mulroney won his second majority with out needing even one seat in western Canada.
This is why us separatists said to those who were sympathetic to our frustrations but rejected separation, get us a Triple E Senate and we might have a fighting chance.
However Laugheed and Romano slammed that door shut.
Harper…our most recent saviour left many many senate seats vacant only to have them filled by the drama teacher.
    One betrayal after another.

    1. No….Reform should have run candidates in the East, but NOT in Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa.

  24. I think the west should separate, even with the promise of Pierre P. being elected in the next federal election. He won’t be PM forever and at some point the #Libranos will return, and they’ll be pissed and be looking to “get even”.

Better off leaving, and if at some point in the next couple of hundred years, old Canada makes an offer to rejoin with us, politely decline.

  25. And to what end Art?
Please note what I wrote about Mulroney not needing the west.
Mannings narrative in Vancouver that Reform might hold the “balance of power” in a divided parliament was a non starter and he knew it, but with his charisma convinced delegates (not this one) to start a new “federal” party.
If we were going to “hold the balance of power” with any other parties….they would need to hold some common ground with the new Reform party. This was never in the cards.
Eight of The Reform Parties top 10 priorities relied on constitutional change! No. No other eastern based party would be forming a coalition with Reform. It was a scam by some and a pipe dream by the more gullible.

    1. Reform could have been the government of the country….the true cleavage in the country is not necessarily the west vs. the east, but rather the “golden triangle” vs the rest of the county.

  26. One more point regarding Manning the pied Piper and Reform. I write this in hopes that the same mistakes won’t happen again.
Manning would not allow known “western Separatists” from speaking at The original Western Assembly in Vancouver. They had been contacted…but then dis-invited.
This I believe is because he didn’t want delegates to hear that if reform, had a “constitutional agenda”, starting a new federal party was a dead end road. One that the western Progressives, CCF and So-Creds had tried before us.
It isn’t federal opposition parties that have a seat at the table when hammering out the details of the Canadian Constitution…it’s the premiers.
I knew at the outset that it was a wash.

When you have a lot of trees you have to at some point…see the forest.

  27. The good news is our tanks are all blown up in Ukraine. There is no military way they could force us to stay.

  28. What about this idea … Alberta and Saskatchewan regret to inform rest of Canada that petroleum and natural gas will no longer flow beyond their borders, as they feel a moral guilt about enabling innocent third parties to overheat the earth.

But if our own people wish to do that, they continued, our libertarian impulse is to say “so it goes.”

    Too soon?

  29. I first covered western separatism in the mid 80s. Your reasons are many and justified, and I don’t blame you in the slightest.
But you didn’t go anywhere then and you aren’t going anywhere now.
The oil is a tremendous advantage, but unless you nationalize it you don’t control who they sell to. I don’t think oil companies are interested in helping you with your tantrum. Besides, you’ll need all the money you can get.
Now, resume cheering yourselves up. It’s free and it’s harmless.

    1. You don’t seem to understand the situation. The provincial government can stop exports of oil and gas out of the province by not signing export permits. While cutting off oil and gas would be costly to Alberta, it would bring the Canadian economy to its knees very fast.

    2. Maybe Alberta and Saskatchewan could offer to buy oil and gas from the oil companies to create our own strategic petroleum reserve during the export permit denial time period.

Perhaps we could then sell it to the USA at a later date and higher price to help fill their depleted SPR.

  30. CS

“…. I don’t think oil companies are interested in helping you with your tantrum. Besides, you’ll need all the money you can get…”

Are you saying they would not support a separation of AB & Sask forming a new Country..??

    Better rethink that my friend.

  31. honest voting to separate is over in alberta
last provincial election …… i voted on an ES&S/Dominion machine
it’s over for all of us if we don’t get rid of them

  32. Eventually the financial situation will sink in.
Then Separation of our affairs from Confederated Canada will become unavoidable.
You cannot save a sinking ship, unless you are willing to first plug the holes and throw the dead weight overboard.
“Maths is hard” say the parasites.
Those who pay, will say “The math is obvious” if you chose to look.
