The great thing about renewable energy infrastructure is how often it needs to be replaced – because we’re promised “Green Jobs,” picking glass out of a field. Everyone wants that job!

    It is true that establishment newspapers are dying. And it is true that the conservatism in Postmedia is too middle-of-the-road for most SDAers. But the proposed business arrangement seems OK with me. The Toronto Star can remain with the wackjobs and cheer on Chow’s intended destruction of Toronto. But I would like to see all of the rest of the smaller dailies and weeklies under PostMedia’s control. And that the powers that be can slice and dice enough to finally start earning a profit.

    The new, grassroots conservatism is on the internet, with small independent news groups. But there are good people at PostMedia with good ideas.

      The fools in the bongs government ignored all the warnings and passed a bill intended to save print journalism. The jackass Marco Mendocino led the charge. He thought the government could force Meta Facebook etc to pony up cash for their use of Canadian news on their platforms. They simply dropped Canadian news and moved on. No negotiating, nothing.

He likens Pride Month to the 1970’s Chinese cultural revolution under Mao Tse Tung. Then people and organizations were forced to display allegiance to Mao communism through a variety of actions. If they did not conform to these rituals, they were punished. Similarly today the powerful alphabet lobbies force people to obey a set of anti-family rituals. If not, the dissidents are punished.     1. Yeah. I live in Leduc. They painted the pride flag across the street, eight feet wide.

      I think I’m going to speak to city council on Monday. I’m pretty sure none of the councilors is an engineer, and that they didn’t consult a civil engineer before doing this. Asphalt covered in paint gives less traction than bare asphalt. It wouldn’t matter if it was solid white, there would be burnouts. Maybe not the intentional ones, but just burnouts from the sudden loss of traction.
