Study authors from the New York University Grossman School of Medicine analyzed data from the CDC, the 2020 U.S. Census, and 2021 population estimates from the University of Virginia, and calculated fertility rates after each COVID-19 wave.
They found that the severity of the wave in some states appeared to have little impact on fertility rates in 2020.
While New York experienced a massive drop in fertility rates following the first wave – plunging to roughly 76 fewer monthly births per 100,000 women compared to pre-pandemic rates – states like Idaho, Montana and Utah experienced a boost of up to 56 additional birth each month per 100,000 women.
Maybe it’s the cleaner air.

Could this possibly be a case of unintended consequences. Declining birth rate in New York where the wokest of woke reside, the Blue voters who complied with the mandates and urged, nay demanded that everyone be forced to get the injection and the Red voters in the west who independently want to be left alone now have an increasing birth rate. These statistics may be a silver lining in that TPTB, while dictating that we all get jabbed and seperated had been partying and laughing at the sheep lining up for the jabs will now see a declining voter base. Lets see if the statistics hold true for California.
