Quick Story from Sunday afternoon: I was volunteering as a photographer for a friend at an event in South Florida.  One of the events was an Easter Egg Hunt.  The “eggs” were just plastic with candy inside.  There were about 100 kids, most all under 10 years old.  There was quite a frenzy when the kids start scouring the grass for the eggs.  Seemed like a fun event.  But afterwards a mother came up to the organizers and complained that none of her 4 children retrieved any eggs.  The organizers said they were sorry but what could they do?  Want to guess what happened next?  The mother found a police officer at the event and insisted that he investigate this “crime”.  Proof positive that Permanent Victim Syndrome (PVS) is rampant!

    How did they know?”

      1. In Arizona, for example, one simply applies to be on their “Active Early Voting List” (AEVL). Each voter on the AEVL is automatically sent a ballot-by-mail for all elections in which they are eligible to vote.

        Arizona has more than four million registered voters, most of whom vote by mail.

        I would call a couple of million ballots a “mass mailing.”

        1. That’s because they opt in for the service. The problem isn’t mailed ballots, the problem highlighted in the first reply is unsolicited mailed ballots. Yet we haven’t seen that. There’s been applications mass mailed, but not unsolicited ballots.

          Now Arizona is a bit different because they do mail in ballots only for non federal elections. All voters will get those even if they opt out of mail in ballots. The opt out is only for federal elections.

        3. There were so many irregularities in the 2020 election, many of which if properly investigated could overturn the results — anyone refusing to question the outcome is being deliberately obtuse.

        He didn’t show anything. He only had envelope images. He didn’t have access to which envelopes were accepted, only which ones were received. He also didn’t have access to the county voter signature database.

          I see. So he provided lots of evidence of potential fraud, but was denied the access to actually *prove* his case. What a surprise.

        Great link, Linda. Anyone who still denies that there was widespread election fraud in the US in 2020 and 2022 should have a printout of that article placed in front of them and be forced to read the entire piece *out loud* (so you can tell they are actually looking at it….you know how ‘progressives’ are with information that contradicts The Narrative…).

        I’m buying that book. I don’t need to, but some things are worth supporting.

        Out of all the charges, the vast majority are related to a single ballot.

    What IS surprising is the use of the word “Easter”. I thought that sort of thing was verboten as it isn’t all-inclusive for the woke to tolerate.

  8. I’m a huge Who fan, and I’ve never considered their Woodstock performance particularly noteworthy. I will recommend heartily the Live at Leeds album for comparison.

    1. Live at Leeds for the win! Woodstock appearance gets points for pretty, but that’s not who they are.

      1. Yes, and while there’s nothing wrong with the original vinyl, the extended version that came out on CD is even more of a good thing. Most importantly, you get the first four songs of the set (the vinyl starts with #5, “Young Man Blues”). “Heaven and Hell” and “Fortune Teller” are remarkable, perhaps the most easily overlooked of the great Who tracks. Along with the all too easily overlooked live “A Quick One” from the Rolling Stones’ “Rock ‘n’ Roll Circus”.

    Which leads one to wonder about Canada’s (in)justice system. Scams and other business crimes are not prosecuted by our wink-nod system. But here victims chose a different method of justice: beat the crap out of the guy to try to get the money back.

    Time magazine proudly branded the throng of counterculture stoners as this nation’s “Electric warriors”… so it was all cool.

They were not a public university, they were specifically a Protestant university, and they they took the entirely reasonable position that there had to be limits on how many non-Protestants they could accommodate. No doubt that gratified the Jew-haters, but that was the consequence, not the motive.
