It is a common misconception that all that work in prostitution are unwilling or coerced participants. That they are there due to drug addiction, economic circumstances or threat of violence. This is not true. Many actually are in it because they enjoy that kind of work. The most obvious example of this is pornographic performers. But there are also other areas where this is true.
It would be extremely naive of all of us to think that this cartoonist is actually producing this “work” because of the funding received.
