Let’s hope there is no amnesty for the politicized American military apparatchiks who cared more about their careers than the health & safety of millions of American military personnel. “I was just following orders” is never a valid excuse.

      True. Remember when one of the top generals in the US Army came right out and said that their number one priority was “diversity and inclusion”? So, not fighting wars or anything like that, then? Hmm…

    Would be nice if they followed up by rescinding the vaccine requirement for foreign visitors entering the US. At some point I’d kinda like to visit my brother in Texas. We can visit with him in Canada, Mexico, Europe or pretty anywhere else in the world besides the USA and a few third world dictatorships that are also still mandating the vaccine for tourists.

    Leader of the free world…not really. Stubborn old coot out of touch with reality…yep.

  8. No one is questioning WHY China refuses to buy or produce mRNA vaccines.

    It’s not as if China can’t easily and cheaply produce their own, they have the bio-labs. They also have the ability to go to the moon, produce massive technological armies & navy, full satellite capabilities, top tier medical/ industrial facilities whatever they wish.

    Instead they choose to harm their massive economy at great expense to AVOID mRNA vaccines. We don’t bother to ask why.

  9. England 3 Senegal 0 and for once, they looked exciting, first time in years. A few very dull periods when they were content to hang about in their own half and pass back to the goalie (they’ll get screwed by that one day) but plenty of exciting passing and attacking too this game. Next stop Argentina I believe.

    OK A little off-topic

    1. England are virtually an all-star team … but too often play like all-stars in self-isolation … failing to play like a team. I want to take note that Phil Foden … an incredible talent was involved in setting up and directly assisting in all 3 England goals.

      It should also be noted that the lowly US team shut out England. As they say in the UK … Nil.

  10. Well, If Sports Talk is OK? My MN Vikings beat the NY Jets 27-22. The Vikes only scored 5 times, and the Jets 6 times. But the Jets had only a single TD in the 4th quarter (barely from a 4th and 1), and had to settle for only field goals in their first 5 scores. The Vikings Defense had two goal line stands in the last 2 minutes to stop the Jets.

      In other non-news, the Broncos lead for the entire game, and still find a way to lose.

  11. MCCarthy should push for full re-instatement with all back pay, benefits, records expunged, and credit for time accrued for any and all service members and civilians that were thrown out or forced to resign by the vax mandates.

    Yes, the administration knew that the madnates (that was deliberate) would be rescinded, but kept them in place long enough to drive away those that would not comply. Once they were certain that the only personnel remaining were all juiced, they knew that they had “the right people in place” and that “the insurgents were no longer a threat,” so they can not only remove the madnates, but as an added bonus, make McCarthy look like a strong leader in the process.

    This smells of back-room, behind-closed-doors deal-making.

  17. Those impacted should be retroactively reinstated, receive back pay and promotions, and then be honorably discharged if they so choose. The SecDef who pushed this shit should be impeached/fired for his ignorance of the Constitution, if nothing else.
