  1. Suddenly have the urge to watch me some Christmas Vacation for more Clark Griswold!!

“A lot of sap in here!”

      1. speaking of squirrels.. any hockey fans happen to catch the clip of nhl commish bettmans announcement along with kim davis about the future of the nhl, with bettman saying in 5 years he would like to seemore blacks and woman playing in the nhl. and davis saying some bs.. i doubt she knows a puck is round.. bettman looked and spoke like he had a gun pressed with authority to the back of his head.. death of the nhl right there…excuse my lack of caps but my keyboard is broken..

        1. I disabled the CAPS (lock) key on my keyboard as I kept hitting it instead of “A” and, well, you can imagine. Use the other SHIFT key.

      1. Why is Canada failing as a country. Mostly because Ottawa and the Provinces no longer follow the BNA.
Here Andrew Petter one of Canada’s foremost Constitutional Lawyers discusses how Ottawa’s abuse of the Federal Spending power has unbalanced the country.

  2. My nephew learned to tie his shoes but he would forget to put them on first. His frustration was as real as our amusement.

  3. I took my mother to see her new doctor for the first time since her other one retired. Nothing serious, he just went through her medications.

Great guy, didn’t ask her about the jab at all. And get this….he’s a white guy.

My doctor is great too. Black guy from Africa. I’ve only been to him once in about eight or ten years though. A few times he treated my late father.

      1. It’s 2/3’s down the page, RH side.

When I voted last night it was 53% for the good guys. Now it’s up to 59%.

  4. The Ottawa Pinko Citizen via MSN.

I read the article expecting to see people’s names, as usual, but none were named and instead the following was at the end of the article: “People facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty. It’s our policy not to name those charged unless we plan to follow the case through the justice system or it’s of significant public interest to identify them.”
Bullshit. That’s the first time I’ve ever read that anywhere.
Did they get sued or did the Moslem community complain about all the bad press?

    1. This has been the policy in Post Media for several years now. Sometimes they slip and name the ones that sound like white guys.

    1. Yet I managed to buy my first house as a single, self-employed woman in October 1983. The house cost $ 75,000 and I had $ 65,000 to put down. My mortgage was for $ 20,000, 5 year fixed rate at 16%. I managed to have it paid off in the 5 years as well as paying off my parents the money which they had loaned to me for part of the down payment. It is ALL about managing your expectations. I had NO television, very little furniture, and could only afford one trip away per year. AS well, as a self-employed person, I paid both the employer and the employee share of the CPP and I had NO benefits.
Now my daughter and her generation expect 4 vacations per year, make $ 100,000/year with lots of benefits and have a fixed rate mortgage of 4.84 % over 5 years. I do NOT cry for them at all.

  5. Beware Amazon. My better half was shopping for Christmas presents on Amazon two days ago. One add-banner splashed “What you buy today, ships tomorrow” (I’m paraphrasing but ships tomorrow was the key phrase). After a few purchases she checked the delivery date in the confirmation email. It read “delivery expected between Dec-24 and Jan-26. Knowing the likelihood of delivery on Christmas Eve, she cancelled her Amazon shipments in a fine blaze of profanity.

    What is happening to Amazon?

    1. While I agree this is actionable, under similar circumstances Twitter is the last tool I’d reach for.

  6. Employment in the public sector, which grew rapidly during Wu Flu lockdowns (while the private sector suffered major job losses), has continued to grow. In the last 12 months it grew by 2.2% , faster than private sector employment which grew by 1.8%. Public sector employment now accounts for 25.1% of total employment.

Like his father before him, Justin buys votes by dramatically expanding the public sector and paying the bureaucrats excessively.

    1. But the other problem from my experience is the ever dwindling number of bureaucrats who seem to be fluent in English.

  7. Being the insouciant pup that I am, the first thought that crossed my mind after reading the TG mother’s complaint was if I ever met her in a public place, preferably a meeting with hundreds of people & cameras rolling, I’d ask her to lift her shirt & show her breasts.

C’mon, lady. Let’s see ’em. No? Why not? Does the thought of a passel of men looking at your nudity make you feel uncomfortable? ‘Magine that…
