  1. Lots of protests in Communist China last night.
    It is now after 1PM in Beijing. Will there be more protests today?

      1. Unfortunately, Mr.Xi doesn’t have any nasty racists to blame.
        If he was smart he would import some rednecks from Alberta.
        Liberals/Communists hate them!

        Authoritarianism is so much easier when you have a convenient scapegoat available.

    1. The way I remember it, the post was taken down and account suspended because the link had hacked materials which is against Twitter TOS. Other articles that were nearly the same but without the link were not moderated.

        But none of the articles tweeted that doxxed convoy donors were banned.
        Yep, seems legit.

      3. There was no evidence to suggest that the published evidence from the laptop came from a hack. Twitter and others made that up.

        The interesting thing is that the famous “earmarks of Russian disinformation” letter from CIA folks came out IMMEDIATELY after the Post article. The FBI and CIA knew the article was going to appear because they were illegally spying on Rudy Guiliani.

        Biden used the trumped up (see what I did there?) letter during the presidential debates.

        All of this will surface soon.

  3. Today marks the 12th anniversary since the death of beloved Canadian actor Mr. Leslie Nielsen. In honour of Mr. Nielsen, we would ask all Canadian men to wear their zippers at half mast today.

        I know Vancouverites rioted in 2011 and 1994; both times after losing game 7 of the finals.

        1. It was a moral victory. Like scoring a goal for the first time in the men’s World Cup is a cause for celebration.

          2. Yeah, I found that the whole “Greatest goal in men’s soccer history” shpeel to be just slightly hyperbolic.

          4. David, the disconect between CBC and Canadians is stunning.
            Soccer is not a Canadian sport. It is in competition for the fifth place against curling after hockey, football, baseball and basketball. That is just a fact. Yet, it is relentlesly promoted because of one worldism and imports who love it.

            But neither imports nor legacy Canadians who happen to like soccer give a damn about the Canadian team.

            This is the first time in decades Canada made it to World Cup and soccer fans in Canada hate it. Because they want to cheer for the teams they like: England, Brazil, Germany, Portugal, Ita… (sorry) not for a team that to soccer fans has no place in the World Cup.

            Every other World Cup (or Euro Cup) you see people displaying flags of countries they cheer for on their cars and their front lawns. Not this year. People feel they shoul not be cheering for countries other than Canada, but they are not cheering for Canada. One more game and Canada is out. Then you can expect all the flags to come out.
