      1. As much as I hate to admit it, Allen, you are a much more reliable source than the so-called maga – right-wing media who were calling the shots, trying to convince us of what I already knew was hopelessly being too optimistic. Ever wonder how I became such a pessimist?

        1. I am not sure if it is just a fad. Those kids are confused and vulnerable. They are bombarded with easy, just-cut-it-off solutions. They are taught to believe that butchery is in their interest. That it is indeed their only solution and it will be just sunshine and rainbows after that. They truly believe in it at the time. Then they tragically learn that the irreversible process they were subjected to was not a solution. Hence the post transition suicide rates.

          Her parents could be excused (to an extent) for being cosmically stupid and naïve or for going along with it due to fear of losing her. The butchers? Not so much. The butchers know what they are doing… I better stop before saying something that could be considered a felony…

      One observation about a Trudeau promise: he rarely delivers on the promise.
      I think its a deliberate strategy. By not delivering, he gets to make the promise again, but notice he’ll change the dollar amounts. In this manner he generates positive news coverage.
