  11. It appears mind boggling to me, that after the overt night and day difference between Democrats and Republicans running the country, how anyone with a sentient mind would even consider voting for more of what they have now!
    Also, after the debacle of the fraudulent vote rigging in 2020, how could they ever trust their voting systems again?
    I am just as surprised, that civil war has NOT broken out in both the US and Canada!…….YET.

We are very unprepared for their up coming plans.

  15. Lots of reports of voting tabulators not working in Maracopa county Arizona. Voters are told to put their ballots in box 3. Box 3 will be held in a secure location, with no one allowed to observe. The ballots will be counted tomorrow.

    Yeah right. Tonight there will be ballot substitutions, and presto … a clear Democrat win.

        And don’t get me started on Chicago in the Daley senior era.

        I have worked Canadian Federal Elections as a polling station returning officer. We counted the ballots in full view of candidates Representatives.

        The scrutineers could see each ballot as I unfolded it, and they could observe where the polling clerk made her mark on the votes tally sheet.

        They could also object to a ballot interpretation, and the head polling station returning officer would come over and make a judgement.

        Can’t remember if we did a second count looking at each ballot or not. I remember we had to recount each candidates pile of opened and tallied ballots to see if the totals in each candidates ballot pile matched our tally sheet count.

        If all was ok the head returning officer for our polling Center reviewed our tally sheet. When they said ok, we put all the ballots in a big envelope, and sealed it.

        Carbon copies of each polling station’s vote tally results were given to the candidates’ official scrutineers.

        Then the envelopes and tally sheets were put into a metal box and sealed.

        The head polling station returning officer took them all to the central reporting centre for the riding, after phoning in the results.

        Pretty transparent.

        1. How would you do this with multiple races on each ballot? Arizona has over 100,000 ballot types. Pretty hard to compare that to Canadian federal elections.

          Most states offer ballot images. All states should. You can’t get more transparent than that.

            Start by separating the federal, state, and municipal elections. Have them in different years. This would make it easier for voters to focus on issues or candidates of interest to them

          2. It’s not only that. I’ve seen ballots with 25 different races on them. The only races consistent across a state would be presidential and governor/SOS/AG. Each congressional, state, county, school district race have its own jurisdictional lines. So that means millions of individual ballot types across the nation.

            Americans want this system, which makes it utterly impossible to count each race within a reasonable timeframe.

            And if you have a system that is ripe with opportunity for fraud, why wouldn’t a party try to cheat? There are cheating rewards, but it seems to me very little downside.

        2. Joe, I’ve also worked the Canadian elections, five times in my life and as you state I feel that there is not a more secure system of voting. Having said that the big problem in America is the use of ballot recording and tabulating, coupled with the excuse that the machines will speed the process. What speeds the process is having precincts/polling areas sized according to population numbers that can be manually counted by poll workers and scruttineers in a four hour period. If that means polling areas limited to 500 to 1000 voters so be it. Limiting the number of people registered in a polling district or station would also alleviate the long timely lineups that people have to endure to cast a vote on election day, for that matter pre-election votes should be available prior to election provided that it is in person voting. There is no reason for mail-in ballots.

          1. I agree with most of your points, Antenor, but I disagree with the blanket statement re ‘mail-in’ ballots. There are a lot of reasons why a voter might be absent from his/her riding in any election. Should they be denied the right to vote?
            Having said that, the States have made the whole mail-in thing ripe for abuse. In fact it would seem that the Dems have bent over backward to encourage fraud. Where was the disincentive to NOT …

          2. This response is to DaninVan: Mailing ballots and absentee ballots are two different things. The former need to be outlawed. The latter are necessary for some people, but should (and usually used to) make the voter stipulate why they need an absentee ballot.

          3. Thirded on the security of Canadian federal elections, I also have scrutineered for both Reform and Conservative candidates.

            After the counts at our polls are verified as described above, the scrutineers phone them in to the candidate’s HQ and the team there compares them to what the media is reporting. Any discrepancies are called out that night for review and correction.

  16. I expect a tidal wave of voting rights violation lawsuits against anyone who tries to interfere with a true vote, the way Whitmer did in Michigan by conducting an election in violation of Michigan law in 2020

    1. Problem with after-action election lawsuits is, the harm was all done on the day the laws were changed to allow ballots from non-citizens and the non-existent to be dropped into the ballot boxes. Once those ballots get in, they’re all anonymous and there’s no way to prove invalidity.

      We need to go back to all paper ballots, voting on election day unless you’re overseas military, and purple ink on your thumb after you vote.

      1. There’s not many places that DON’T do paper only ballots. The paper ballot is the official record. Perhaps you are confusing that with the computer tabulation of those paper ballots.

    2. Care to be more specific? The only thing I could find is the courts clarified who can issue instructions on verifying mail in ballot signatures.

    Some examples:
    -Katie Hobbes refuses to recuse her role as Sec State, even though the conflict of interest is staggeringly obvious.
    -20% of Maricopa tabulators are not functioning… ON ELECTION DAY, (when the DEVILS know that’s when the “deplorables” come out to vote. Now seeing reports that machines in Wickenburg AZ also not working.
    -Fetterman and lawyer Marc Elias petition a federal court in Pennsylvania to count invalid ballots without a date.
    -Pennsylvania advises that results of midterms may not be available for weeks.
    -DOJ sending monitors to 24 states to “voting rights are enforced.” Missouri says “No way are you going to intimidate our voters.
    -Champaign County Illinois Clerk’s office reporting of cyber attacks against its computer server.
    -Voters in Detroit Michigan are being told that they have already voted.
    -DOJ inspectors allowed in at Southwest Maricopa County.
    -Extremely HIGH rate of ballots rejected in Kansas, and in NY.
    -Voters being told to used assigned sharpies to mark their ballots. When asked to have their ballots spoiled a ballot due to “bleed-through”, and have a new ballot issued, voters were denied.
    -Tabulators not working in a mostly Republican district of deep blue Harris County… Voters told to leave their ballots with poll workers.
    -Voters TURNED AWAY at 7 am in Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, because the “voter registration registry was not available. Voters told to provide a provisional ballot or return later. This is not being reported in local news media.
    -Scanners failed after scanning 100 ballots in Walden, NY.
    -Tabulation machines stopped working in Austin Texas.
    -WILK radio reporting that “All Republican districts have no paper ballots.
    -Sharpie pens given to voters in Palatine IL.
    -Late night activity (3am) at a warehouse near Detroit Election Center.
    -New York officials understaff conservative Jewish Precinct creating line hundreds of yards long, and increasing wait times to hours.
    -Dominion machines in Mercer, NJ experiencing “Programming Glitch”
    -NYC polling station shut down temporarily due to a pipe bomb threat.
    …and all that was from just ONE website! I warned about the Dems resolve to steal the midterms, and for the MAGAs not to count their chickens too early. I’m really afraid of the “results” I’m going to see as a result of this election.

    2. Hobbies not refusing- non issue. Recusal is for the legal system. Do you expect nobody to run the election? SoS’s run in elections all the time, where were you when that happened previously?

      Sharpies – zero issue, the columns are offset so bleed through is not an issue. The Cyber Ninjas fraudit found exactly zero instances where bleed through caused a double vote.

      Voters already voted – in Arizona, it was found these voters were on the EV32 but not on the EV33 list. The former is mail in ballots sent (up to 10 days before the election) the latter is early ballots received (which is all early ballots including mail in) before election day.

      DOJ inspectors – perfectly normal and happens every election. They’re there to ensure civil rights.

      Tabulator/ballot printing issues – happens every election. Although it should not. Another reason to vote early.

      “Submit a provisional ballot or come back later” not an issue. This is because the voter database isn’t available. After the election is over, provisional ballots are investigated if.they are legal ballots or not. Happens every single election.

      PA results not available – This is likely due to the time it takes to process mail in ballots. Many states do not even allow signature verification before the election is over. It’s funny that Republicans complain about the very thing they cause.

      Cyberattacks – probably Putin.

  28. First time voting in America, in Massachusetts. The biggest surprise for me was that I was able to vote without showing any form of ID whatsoever. I was registered to vote, they looked me up, checked my name, but there was no ID requirement.

    1. That very much depends on individual states, or in some cases counties. In NY state I had to sign-in and they matched my signature with the registration they had on file. (Small town, so I normally knew one ot two election workers.) Here in Indiana you have to shoe your driver’s license TWICE before you actually vote.

    1. Consider that the Dems started with 36 senate seats and the Rs 29, the current result is promising for Rs. 40 for Dems is only 4 won, 39 for Rs is a gain of 10. Of course, that depends on which senate seats remain in play.

  47. It looks like the senate will be down to 5 states. Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Wisconsin.

    Republicans need 3, Democrats only need 2 due to the VP being the tiebreaker. Presidential elections matter.

    Arizona is solidly blue up to this point in the other races, so I’m pretty sure they will hit 50.
