Here’s a great discussion between two people I highly respect. I’ve heard a growing number of commenters say that if Kari Lake can win the Arizona governorship then she would be a stellar candidate for President in 2028. The Democrats know this, which is why they hate her so much.
Kari is so much more than a pretty face. She speaks with MORE knowledge and deep understanding of the details of our nation than any politician I know. Seriously. She gave Zuby a great accounting of the difference between Democrats saying our “Democracy” is under attack, and her charge that our “Republic” is under attack. She understands the difference, and explained it nicely.
She is also a very quick study who reads-into and responds with an emotional intelligence few can master as she does. She truly UNDERSTANDS the questions asked of her in their full context. She can suss out the motivations of her questioner. And her temperament always fits the interaction perfectly.
I haven’t been this excited about a candidate (in this case one I cannot vote for) since Donald J. Trump came down the golden escalator. And I was on the Trump train PRIMARILY because I KNEW he could win … name recognition and all. But when he actually kept his promises … he had me for good. Now Kari comes along … and she is truly inspiring … and is truly a GREAT communicator like her hero, Ronald Reagan. And she’s REAL. She connects with people the way we do having a relaxed, open, conversation with a friend. She doesn’t push an agenda when she speaks … she is truly compassionate about what is needed to make all our lives better.
But she is also not shy about sharing her faith. Not pushing it down anyones throat, GYM … but making it personal and relevant to her motivation. She exudes the best of Christian Faith, by sharing her concern for others above herself. Her ego appears to be put right in it’s appropriate place … secondary to all other motivations. She is a very impressive politician … because she’s a most impressive person

Yeah, yeah … I know this is a controversial topic … however … here is the part of the “emotional intelligence” characteristic I was ascribing to Kari Lake.
We are naturally drawn to a person with high EQ. We are comfortable and at ease with their easy rapport. It feels as though they can read social cues with superhuman ability. Perhaps they can even mind-read how other people feel to some extent.
Perhaps the whole idea of Emotional Intelligence is ephemeral and cannot be measured with reliable testing … yet we ALL know what it is. We ALL know people with EI … and those who don’t. It’s intuitive. Call it what you want, but Kari Lake reads social cues given off by people with superhuman ability
