Saturday On Turtle Island

Woke Britain:  The latest trans row with JK Rowling.

Trudeau’s Canada:  David Menzies makes the news south of the border.  Rex Murphy writes about the night of long honks.  Apparently hospital food is colonialism.  The OPP says Trudeau’s use of Emergencies Act was unnecessary.  Justin’s CTV defends vandalism.  And Fraulein Freeland lied.

Biden’s America:  The child transgender agenda.  PayPal is not your pal.  Biden drafts transgenders.  The January 6 committee.  Your morning meme.

Today In Islam:  Iran isn’t the only country that has morality police.  This week in Jihad.

  1. Mahsa Amani collapsed while standing alone, in a room with at least half a dozen people present. I watched the video.
My guess is that she clung to everything western, including the COVID vaccine, but we all know that there’s no record of young people having bad reactions and dropping dead from the vaxx. That’s just a lie put out by the science deniers.
No, the invisible police beat her unconscious.
    Yes that’s it.
So hush now childrens, you’ll spoil the story!
You can fool some of the people some of the time, but a useful idiot can be used forever!

Trust your MSM media, everyone else lies (curiousity bids ne ask, at what point does the alternative become the mainstream? The answer is , Sooner than you think, and if you blink you may miss it.)

    Try not to blink SDA

    Ahhhh you blinked

  2. Heh. In any battle between JK Rowling and Nicola Sturgeon, I’ll back Rowling. Sturgeon is the Maxine Waters of Scotland.

  3. From the article on colonial food:

“Imagine not having your food, not being able to eat enough food, being severely lonely, being kept in an abusive environment and you don’t even have the comfort of food.”

    You mean like my marriage?

    1. So you provide a population with a disposition towards diabetes with a bread as a preferred comfort food meal? But yet you blame pale face donuts?

      1. Actually, there is evidence accumulating that the largely plant-based diet in residential schools was not suited to the digestive systems of the students whose ancestors had diets which were much higher in protein and lower in carbs (farming – particularly on the prairies – was minimal and probably confined to harvesting wild rice; certainly they didn’t have the bread, oatmeal, etc., that would have been a considerable portion of the diet at the schools). However, ironically, bannock is very much from the white culture, and probably came to the natives via white trappers and traders who had figured out how to make a “quick bread”.

  4. There is nothing like an ingrate.
Heya you healed my cancer, but I didn’t get any caribou to eat heya.
Maybe the We Were Here First Nations should use their own healing lodges, sacred food and medicines and shut their pie holes.

    1. Yes, horrible. I’ve been following this via Mahyar Tousi’s channel; yes the bankers wanted her out. She didn’t help herself though, backtracking and not standing up for her policies. Mrs. T would have hit them with her handbag.

  5. “The ingredients in the winning recipe include flour, water, baking soda and oil, says Fournier.”

good thing they were able to find all of those traditional Indigenous ingredients to make Bannock

    ” Justin’s CTV defends vandalism.”

I wonder if we can convince them to stop repeating the roman slur against a germanic tribe that defeated them.

    1. Oil??? That should be lard. Nuke them an effing Eggo waffle and call it Cherokee bannock. I’ve only met two kinds of Cherokee, white people pretending to be Cherokee and black people pretending to be Cherokee, although I imagine there might be a few Cherokee pretending to be Cherokee.

  6. No members of the Liberal Party bothered to meet with protestors. Surely that would have been an obvious step before invoking Emergency Measures. That they did not do so shows bad faith.

    1. Hearings in Ottawa are beginning to look like a show trial– at least based on media one- sided reporting.

      1. We all know what the Liberals are pushing, its called power. They have it. They’re proving it. The Emergency Act wasn’t necessary but they’ll argue they were worried about things escalating across the Country. Statements from the mid-West were made last Thursday at the Rouleau Commission.

        From the piece:

“Saskatchewan and Alberta say they objected to its use and believe the law did not need to be applied across the country.”

Alberta’s lawyer, Mandy England, described in her opening statement before the commission how existing laws and police resources successfully ended a protest at the border in Coutts, Alta., where several people were arrested and charged with conspiring to commit murder after a cache of guns, body armour and ammunition was found in nearby trailers.

“None of the powers that were created under the federal Emergencies Act were necessary, nor were any of them used in Alberta to resolve the Coutts blockade,” she said.

The federal government is planning to argue the opposite. Robert MacKinnon, representing Justice Canada, said the Emergencies Act was “reasonable and necessary” given the circumstances across the country. ”

P.S. Did Libs want to see the new uniforms, equipment, and how well trained the ‘imported’ cops were?

We could reflect on how Alexa Lavoie of Rebel News must’ve felt, new boots felt on her face and body, crushing it, bruising her and giving her PTSD for life. She was trying to report the NEWS. Peopleskind are dying. The MSM are under scrutiny, as well.

These are interesting times, to say the least.

  7. There is no doubt that Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings are causing the Climate Crisis.

Only experience I ever had – was they act like GESTAPO. Should a buyer of a product you sold make the assertion its “no good”for whatever reason (BS or otherwise)….?? before you can blink, whatever monies you might have made on the transaction are INSTANTLY removed from your Cr. Card.

I Truly wish to see that rotten company dive down into insolvency.

    1. Remember when the Toronto district school board dropped the title of Chief from any board positions as it was culturally appropriated and disrespectful to the indigenous? About that……
