    “Mr Trudauh, did you do this because of your love of Canada, or just because you are really smart?”

  15. Justin tromped all over the truckers’ protest because it was protesting his policies and the protest was peaceful.

    He didn’t agree to meet openly or covertly with the truckers.

    When First Nations blockade roads, rail lines, and pipeline construction sites, Justin or his government dispatches cabinet ministers to meet with them.

    No police actions. Why? First Nations protesters actively threaten violence.

    The truckers ran a peaceful protest. They even cleaned up garbage. Trudeau and company said they might be a threat. So they invoked the emergency measures act and unleashed to police, froze bank accounts, etc

    At the hearing Justin will undoubtedly lie, claim cabinet confidence, and/or deflect blame saying the police reported real threats of an insurrection. And like his buddy Gerry Butts at a different inquiry, he won’t testify under oath.

    If he shows up.

When the Special Tribes spend several days blocking rail lines, and attempting to derail trains, there was no mention of using the war measures act and sending in heavily armed police to trample the “protesters”, but a 2 week long inconvenient protest in Ottawa that made him look bad, even with the billions he spends to get good media, and he couldn’t seem to wait to deploy as much force as was available to the jackboots of the RCMP to break up the Freedom Convoy

  20. I remember the last Inquiry. Two years of testimony, trying to find a way to pin missing and murdered aboriginal women on whitey. When they found it was over 90% native men – their husbands or boyfriends – at fault, the inquiry was quietly shelved. Just like this one will be.

    This should be a criminal trial.

    And his answers will have all the veracity and acumen as his answers in Question Period do. He will address issues directly and truthfully, and leave no inquiry unanswered. Yep, you can count on it.
    Remember Freeland’s answers in front of the same inquiry? She would not even answer “yes” or “no” to a simple “Are you aware that the CBC has retracted these stories?”
    Would even a trial make any difference? Remember the SCOC ruling that although the feds have absolutely no legal right to impose a carbon tax on the provinces, we are in a state of “climate emergency” so those taxes are justified. Who cares about the law, or constitutional jurisdiction?
    They would rule in a similar fashion here.
