That used to be the process. However, it’s changed. Now, those who speak out receive a 30 man SWAT team and undue process for misdemeanors, mischief and non-existent charges.
The shouting down continues even after you’ve been proven right. To the people who are doing the shouting, the entire universe of possibilities is what’s going on in their heads until their controllers tell them different. Most of them are emotionally and intellectually stunted individuals who have been brainwashed and are steeped in party politics. Don’t underestimate the threat they pose, people like that have been the vanguard of virtually every revolution.
Just because you have a contrarian opinion doesn’t mean you’re right. In fact, usually you’re wrong.
That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t speak up, but there should always be a small voice in the back of your head reminding yourself that you may be wrong.
Contrarians are usually wrong? Give your head a shake you arrogant little shyte.

You might have noticed that there are usually multiple conflicting contrarian positions to almost any issue.
Which means, yes, most of them are wrong.

I agree with the first part. I agree with the second part when it comes to politics.
We have to be right all the time…the left only once.
Whether you agree with the article or its author, he makes a convincing argument irrespective of where you fall on the political spectrum.
There are very specific biases that been allowed to dominate unchecked and we, as a society, are right to question them; be it their origins or agenda.
However, I will concede, this fault is not specific to one political party or outlet; all sides are equally guilty of cognitive dissonance.
The Left have destroyed their own logic, preaching climate emergency, but also preaching open borders = population explosion = more of anything. Net Zero, what a joke, more like Net Proverty and Famine.
They preach ending O & G, but every renewable relys heavily on the industry, to build their junk, to transport it, to install it, to keep it going, (60 gallons of oil in one windmill) and to back it up when the wind stops and clouds roll in.
For all of this, a blame the school system, the teachers are retarded NDPers and do nothing but push their BS agenda brainwashing the kids and it takes them about 30 years for them to figure out they were lied to if they ever do figure it out.
