  1. It’s EVIL ENTITIES that have taken politics to a whole different level where open genocide is occurring as family values are discouraged and penalized for an individual working environment…

Russia will win as they’re fighting for the love of they’re country as the US and Alliance countries are they’re for selling more US Dollar demonization.

  2. ” It’s naive to think the Russians are going to lose and we’re going to win ”

No it’s not. It’s the reality on the ground. The rest is just his justified but misdirected bitterness over the destruction wrought by the green agenda. Why is this guy even well-known? Some lame Solzhetsin quotes as far as I can recall.

    1. Listen to the whole thing. I think the definition of ‘win’ as he describes it is key. Not the same as most assume. H

      1. I define it as Ukraine taking back all of its territory from Russia. I am uninterested in this jerk’s mental gymnastics.

        1. I look forward to Hunter Biden’s new “job” on the Bechtel Board of Directors as they rebuild The Ukraine infrastructure… all on further US indebtedness. Yeah … that’s what a Ukraine “victory” will look like. The smartest man Joe Bidinh has ever met will direct complex rebuilding efforts as he is now a construction and engineering “expert”.

        2. unDORK..hahahahahahahahahahaha , ewe bee phunny girl. The Russians have now kicked the Mercs asses, blackwater has been dealt with, as has the NAZIS! Try keeping up FOOL!

          1. unDORK
The Russians knew a week ahead that the push was coming, so they took a strategic move to reduce loses, and it worked. The question that remains is how many X-regulars were with the blackwater crowd, and who is/was paying them. Is NATO, the USA , WEF, or blackwater/vangard paying them, as those 2 are raking in big bucks from this war. Also one has to consider how the DIMoKKKraps are financing their midterms. Bet it’s with kick backs .
When I heard that Joolenskyy was quacking about pushing Russian out completely, I knew something was up, and sure as schiff, there was a call for more $$$$$ for the ukes. Now tell my why Russia did NOT cancel their war games with China? It’s because they knew what was happening, and planned accordingly.
It’s you the unCOLON, and unSCARP who don’t listen /read real news.
You in all yer iterations do a great job at being wrong most/all the time.

          2. You think they lost Kharkiv on purpose? If so, you need your medications adjusted.

There’s no way Russia plans to lose that much gear. 152mm shells in the hundreds of thousands. Do you have any idea how badly Ukraine needs those? Never mind all the other ammo, tanks, SPHs and other vehicles. They even captured some high end EW equipment.

            It was a rout.

        3. I do not think there are any good guys in this conflict. All sides are bad. I believe it would be in the best interest of the world if Russia wins. The territories in the east of Ukraine are largely Russian people who WANT to be part of Russia rather than part of Ukraine.

Russia has much more to offer the world, than Ukraine.

Joe and Hunter Biden ruined Ukraine’s reputation, if they even had one. They showed us how corrupt they are …. and how corrupt the USA has become under the Biden circus.

I am ambivalent about this war, but if pressed, I would root for Putin. At least he tells things as they are.

And mostly because he puts his country first …. As we all should, but we don’t. That is why we are in so much trouble at this time. We need to mind our own business.

And don’t get me started on Corrupt Canada under the Man/Child Justin Castro.

          1. “At least he tells things as they are.”

An utterly insane take from an utterly depraved moral stance. No, the eastern peoples’ of Ukraine don’t want Russian dominance-and it wouldn’t matter if they did. There is no such thing as a right to tyranny.

“And mostly because he puts his country first”

More lunacy. Russia is in ruins. It is far behind where it would be if it had embraced liberal governance.

        4. “I define it as Ukraine taking back all of its territory from Russia. I am uninterested in this jerk’s mental gymnastics.”

That is not a win. Security for Ukraine via NATO membership would be a partial win. Ukraine cannot be left vulnerable to future Siberian aggression. Nothing will compensate Ukraine for the genocide that Siberians have committed. So the win never be full.

      2. Exactly.
I don’t understand why a significant section of our society is so anxious to see Ukraine succumb to Russia.
It is present on this site, on Fox on the Rebel and other sites usually promoting the values of liberty, self determination, rule of law, freedom of contract and all western values. When a country that wants to see those diminish (Russia) invades a country that is trying to increase those (Ukraine), the preferred reaction should be to support the underdog (Ukraine) and hasten the adoption of western values.
These folks love Churchill and understand his story about appeasment and the crocodile.
Yet they attach to the false Russian narratives like they were biblical pronouncements.
        I do not get it.

        1. “I don’t understand why a significant section of our society is so anxious to see Ukraine succumb to Russia.”

Because they convinced themselves that every day is the opposite day, and that valiant Pootin is fighting Schwab/”Globohomo”/Bilderberg/Davos in Ukraine.

    2. This may be the single most ignorant statement you’ve ever made. Congratulations on dismissing one of the greatest academic intellects in the world today. “Misdirected bitterness over destruction wrought by the green agenda”? What does this even mean? Do tell, where the “bitterness” (read: REAL personal damages) should be directed? To Russia ? who have predictably responded to the idiotic economic sanctions that have backfired on all the “geniuses” who boldly proclaimed how “tough” they were being toward Russia?

Peterson’s statement that the EU (and now the US, and Canada) have sold our soul for some EMPTY virtue-signaling eco-morality is about as accurate as it gets. How accurate? Just wait till this winter brings a spike in “excess deaths” (to use COVID terminology) … and EU Industrial and economic collapse.

But not to worry! The unchecked Bidinh Admin will send another $10B in US indebtedness to save the EU. You doubt me? Just wait.

      1. Well said, Kenji.

“This may be the single most ignorant statement you’ve ever made.”

That part is a bit difficult to calculate though, there are just too many examples to factor.

      2. Hold on. You must of missed when it said possessing child-porn shouldn’t be illegal. Null and void.

      3. “one of the greatest academic intellects in the world today.”

LOL. Peterson talks in circles. He had a meltdown over slightly plus-size models a couple months ago. You wouldn’t know an intellect unless you had one, and you don’t.

” “Misdirected bitterness over destruction wrought by the green agenda”? What does this even mean? ”

It’s not that complicated. The green agenda has been very destructive, and Peterson is rightly bitter over it but channeling in the wrong way at the wrong targets.

“who have predictably responded to the idiotic economic sanctions that have backfired on all the “geniuses” who boldly proclaimed how “tough” they were being toward Russia?”

People keep saying the sanctions ‘backfire’ and they keep working. Russia can’t get the chips it needs for its tanks and missiles.

        1. Hi Troll
          Here’s a thought.
          No circular talk from Peterson.
Just circular thought from critics who do not listen.
Or who do not have the intellectual wherewithall to follow complex thoughts and the expression of complex thoughts.

      4. Kenji, “But not to worry! The unchecked Bidinh Admin will send another $10B in US indebtedness to save the EU. You doubt me? Just wait.”

You forgot to add,,,,,, and 10% for the Big Guy !

    3. The Russians did a great job of winning in Afghanistan.

The US did a great job of winning in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Vietnam.

Perhaps the question is how long will Ukraine fight? And is Russia prepared for the cost of trying to keep the lands it has seized?

      1. America did win in Vietnam and Iraq by any sane metric. The VietCong were crushed after the Tet Offensive. AQI was crushed by 2010 with some remnants hiding out in caves in Northern Iraq. The US did push out the Taliban-but they should have slaughtered them and any ‘civilians’ aiding them.

        1. Wow … talk about your rationalizations in a desperate attempt to save face. N. VietNam and Ho Chi Minh WON!! Because we’ve shipped all our textile and high tech manufacturing jobs to the Commies. Not to mention your Air Jordan’s are sewn and glued by starving 12yo girls with bloodied fingers.

They’re selling us the pumped up kicks that are kicking our own nutsacs

        2. “America did win in Vietnam and Iraq by any sane metric. The VietCong were crushed after the Tet Offensive. AQI was crushed by 2010 with some remnants hiding out in caves in Northern Iraq. The US did push out the Taliban-but they should have slaughtered them and any ‘civilians’ aiding them.”

Occasionally you manage to surprise me and post something I can agree with.

Vietnam wasn’t technically even a war…it was a police action. And when one side darts across a national border, attacks, then flees back across that border where the defenders *cannot legally follow*, that’s a problem. Very similar situation in Afghanistan.

The US has the most powerful army in the world, by far, but even they can only win a war if their civilian population will allow them to do whatever is necessary to win that war. For too long now they have been hobbled by rules and codes of conduct while their enemies are free to take whatever actions they wish. If you want to wage war, and WIN that war, give your army the task and then stand back and let them do it (don’t try to micromanage them).

Kenji is also not wrong about the long-term effects, though…in some ways, the third-world adversaries faced by the US did win.

          1. “Occasionally you manage to surprise me and post something I can agree with.”

Yeah, goes for both of you.

  3. The world needs Trump’s negotiating skills now more than ever.

But, the elitist scumbags that make up our current world leaders do their damnedest to make sure he is prevented from ever even trying… including vulgar defamations, non-stop hoax criminal investigations and even state soldiers breaching his home.

Without a high-profile effort to broker peace, there will be absolutely no f*cking winner in this.

    1. I miss the’40’s where the clownshow of Bidet and crew would be marched to the gallows for their treasoness conduct of the destruction of the west.

      1. “Trump has no ‘negotiating skills’. He has the grift, that is all.”

(aaaaand you’re back to your normal inanities….no surprise there…)

I call the Abraham Accords a win (and the cancellation of the Iranian ‘deal’ as well). What would you call them? Every US president in the last 50 years tried, and failed, to make peace in the middle-east. Trump pulled it off, and he did it by ignoring ‘conventional wisdom’ and taking a completely different approach. Too bad the Democrats stole that from him before it could have been completed.

  4. The winter of your discontent.. The civilian population can not remain in Ukraine without proper energy.. Especially the cities.. They will become ghost towns as they migrate west.. This will burden an already energy starved Europe and open the door for a more traditional military push from Russia.. The term is a pyrrhic victory..

    1. @John” – dude even if they migrate west there is very little NG and/or oil. The little they (Western Europe) have is bought from the Chicoms at enormously higher prices than what the Russians are selling it to the Chicoms. The only heated homes and buildings will be those of government apparatchiks who live in housing provided to them because of their position (like the PM and Leader of Opposition’s houses), government buildings like police stations and military barracks and millionaires/billionaires who can afford Black Market NG/oil. It would be a hard sell to tell police officers whose families are freezing and suffering from malnutrition to fight back a mob who wants to break into a sports/actor/celebrity/business tycoon’s house because it has heat and food. December through February are going to be the worst months for the idiots who foisted the green plan.

  5. The Destruction of Ukraine is a positive feature for our Western European-US Deep State.

Destruction means we need to give Ukraine Billions in “Reconstruction Aid” after the war winds down. Billions of dollars in aid that our elite leaders in France, Germany, Britain and the US can skim and direct to their favorite Contractors. Those grateful contractors will pay their pet politicians with campaign contributions, lucrative jobs for the politicians’ spawn and their allies. I bet the politicians can easily pocket 10% of “Aid.” Ten percent of Ten Billion Dollars is a BILLION DOLLARS. Lots of graft to make lots and lots of corrupt politicians very, very rich.

IOW, Business as Usual. It will just be a continuation of the pre-war looting of Ukraine by their corrupt Ukrainian politicians and our corrupt Western Politicians, their corrupt spawn and “college buddies.” Hunter Biden was just the most famous of the grifting, avaricious scum. Add in the Clinton Global Graft Initiative, and people like Mitt Romney’s best bud Cofer Black, John Kerry’s kid, and a dozen other connected politicians? Palms will be greased, and politically connected fortunes will be massively added to.

  6. It’s still a mystery to ‘liberals as to why our enemies funded the fossil fuel and fracking protesters.

  7. “You cannot win against someone you cannot say no to.”

Dr. Peterson, meet my ex. Satan Incarnate, meet Dr. Peterson.

    1. Is Dans expertise more credible?.. they are both humans with opinions. JP studies human thought processes, which is relevant in this situation. The Ukes are only doing as well as they are on OUR dime.. When we are down to pennies not dimes, will they have the support they need to succeed?.. Who knows. I bet Russia won’t be freezing in the dark in November. And the Ukes don’t have clean hands either.I can’t disagree with JP.

    2. Yup. Ben Carson as another example. Pediatric neurosurgeon of considerable reknown, but a moron politically.

  8. Don’t agree…

    1. Not all of Ukraine will be left a smoking ruin. Only those parts that Russia now occupies, about 20% of the country.
    2. That’s still better than permanent occupation by Russia.
    3. Europe can wean itself off of Russian petroleum, and in fairly short order. All it takes is political will.
    4. Europe might now need Russian petroleum, but Russia also needs a market for its fuel. By far the best market for its natural gas is Europe.

    1. markets for Russia are East not West.

Anglo/Euro hubris about how valuable they think they are means less by the day

      1. The infrastructure isn’t there to ship it, and it will take a decade or two to overcome that. There’s one pipeline that’s just being finished, and it will not match the capacity of pipelines into Europe.

  9. Russia is going to win if a significant majority of the population remains committed to the re-unification cause, which I think they will, although the point is debatable. They have the raw materials supply, energy supply, a population advantage, and military manufacturing capability which Ukraine does not. By winning I mean retaining what they territory they have now and incorporating it into Russia.

People who think Ukraine is winning because of recent advances in Kharkov Oblast are living in a fools paradise. Ukraine is bankrupt and losing men in the war at probably double the Russian/Donbassian side, maybe more. A recent WPost article interviewed the wounded in hospital in Odessa from the Ukrainian Kherson offensive. One of the fighters stated their losses were 5:1 against the Russian side. That’s not a sustainable strategy.

    1. What Russia doesn’t have is military competence or a rational leader.

And now they want to inject 300,000 barely trained ill-equipped unmotivated troops in the middle of winter. What could possibly go wrong?

      1. Similar strategy as Stalingrad. Keep pushing bodies out until the enemy runs out of ammunition. Anyone opposed would likely meet the same fate as they did back then.

        1. At Stalingrad, the Russians were defending home turf and the Germans were ill prepared for winter.

The situation is now reversed, likely on both counts. NATO has initiated a program to send tons of winter military clothing, bedding, and so on.

      2. In case you missed it, Ukraine has one tenth the population. Their military has been decimated. Russia plays the long game. It’s always been their strategy, and it wins, by wasting the smaller enemy.
In a war of attrition, the largest country wins.
        Can you do fractions?
Or do you expect the Murican two spirited, pansexual soldiers to join the fight?
Ukraine is a hollow shell of a corrupt puppet CIA regime.

        1. “Their military has been decimated.”

Wrong. They just carried out a historic counter-offensive that has made military history and will be in the textbooks.

          “Russia plays the long game.”

And loses. The only reason they won in WW2 was because of western military aid which was probably a mistake on our part. Prior to that, they got pwnd by Japan on the sea, then by Germany on the Eastern Front, and then by Poland. Then Stalin tried to manipulate Hitler and that backfired until we bailed them out. Then they got conked in Afghanistan. Now they’re getting BTFO in Ukraine. They only conquered Manchuria before all this because China was such a disaster at the time. Oh they also lost the Crimean war.

“In a war of attrition, the largest country wins.”

And yet, larger countries can and do lose wars as Israel has demonstrated time and again. It’s like wars don’t have to be wars of attrition!

          1. ““In a war of attrition, the largest country wins.”

And yet, larger countries can and do lose wars as Israel has demonstrated time and again. It’s like wars don’t have to be wars of attrition!”

Except for the fact that this current conflict between Russia and Ukraine most definitely IS a war of attrition. His statement is correct, sorry….yours is just a dodge.

            (nice try, though)

        2. I can do fractions. I know, for example, that Ukraine has 30% the population of Russia, not 10%.

And it’s been Ukraine, not Russia, who has waged a war of attrition, attacking where they have
the advantage and giving ground where they don’t.

And it’s worked. Russia has lost about a third of its ground-force capability in 7 months. And the Russian military has a massive country to defend — Ukraine is not their only concern. Russia can not keep this up.

    2. “losing men in the war at probably double the Russian/Donbassian side, maybe more”

No they’re not. That is probably the inverse of what is true.

“A recent WPost article interviewed the wounded in hospital in Odessa from the Ukrainian Kherson offensive. One of the fighters stated their losses were 5:1 against the Russian side.”

That’s in one phase of one offensive. Equipment losses wildly favor Ukraine.

    3. The Russians have been losing men and equipment at a far greater rate than Ukraine. In fact, their losses are so large they’re now getting desperate, as the recent mobilization indicates.

  10. Peterson is exactly right. What fools we are. Have we managed to “save the planet” yet? The stupidity is overwhelming.

  11. The right wing commentators on the subject of Russia’s invasion have been proven wrong time and again.

Ukraine, after the shocking first 2 months, has been winning: holding up.the Russians and now pushing them back. The Russian economy is nearing collapse, it’s people beyond the confines of Moscow almost in open revolt, its fraudulent military strength exposed to all, and Putin facing a possible coup.

It’s Russia that is going to collapse or fracture.

Russia’s had nuclear weapons for 70 years. It hasn’t used them and probably never will, assuming their missiles can even fly.

    1. Your comment needs a major revision-The LEFT wing commentators on the subject of Russia’s invasion have been proven wrong time and again.
And by left wing I mean van der Leyen, Joe Xiden, Johnson, Macron, Baerbock, Scholtz, turdeau – the list is endless.
What Jordan Peterson is predicting is not hard to comprehend, without energy supplies Europe will freeze, it’s industry will be shut down and it’s monetary systems will collapse, the resulting poverty and misery might well initiate violence against politicians. Europe has NO meaningful plan to increase energy supply and cannot achieve sufficiency to support a 21st century standard of living without surrendering to Russia, they will be regressing to a standard closer to the 18th century (if they are lucky).
Meanwhile Russian industry and it’s population will be well served with plentiful cheap energy and the value of the rouble increases against all currencies.
Where Jordan Peterson may be wrong is in mixing the idea that territorial gains will be achieved by continuing war, the referenda presently being held will decide whom the people entrust with leadership. Continuing war will only be necessary to de-nazify Ukraine.
Meanwhile we all get poorer for entrusting our lives to fools (the above mentioned left wing politicians of no discernable talent or skill).

      1. And as Trump warned Germany, the economic engine of Europe, don’t depend on Russia for energy. But they didn’t listen. Just as Europe hasn’t listened to those warning of shutting down cheap coal, nuclear, and oil power generation and opting for the extremely high cost of wind and solar energy production. Europe is run by morons, and has been for decades. The fruits of Green energy are now being realized. And Britain is heedful, opening up the nation to fracking.

Europe can have as much cheap energy as it pleases. It just chooses the path of self-destruction.

Are those UN diplomats that laughed at Trump still laughing?

      2. “and the value of the rouble increases against all currencies.”

LOL someone doesn’t understand how any of this works.

” the referenda presently being held will decide whom the people entrust with leadership. ”

There is no ‘referenda’. There’s a sham process to dupe the dumbest people in the world, such as yourself.

        1. Sticks and stones Menu, I gave up arguing with name-calling eight year-olds over 60 years ago.

    2. You ever hear of the ISS? A Soyuz rocket?
I can’t say many good things about Russia, but on that front, you are 100% wrong, and that’s a really big wrong.

      1. How many of Russia’s ICBMs are still liquid fueled?

They’d still be sitting in their silos getting gassed up as the US, British, French missiles landed.

        1. Ever hear of a submarine?
          War predictions are very dangerous.
Nuclear war predictions have no historical precedent for analysis.
          Just saying.

          1. Russia has had nuclear weapons for 70 years. Though provoked numerous times, it’s leaders never used them.

If Putin tomorrow demanded all former Soviet state territories back with the clear threat to use nuclear weapons, would western nations comply?

The answer is no. The Ukraine War is just another event in a long series.

There have been many people with children the last 70 years. Stop your whining and screeching.

          1. Yes, Russian military gear that always works so well! How quickly those sluggish Russian ICBMs would be shot out of the sky, even if they made it off the sub.

You’d fit right in the perpetually fearful global warming crowd, forever finding some great fear in petty matters. Go and put out the garbage like your mother asked and leave the big issues to others.

          2. GM
Did you even read the article?
These are underwater torpedoes not missiles.
The article does not, however, confirm that these are close to being operational. Their effectiveness is limited to coastal areas and military vessels. They cannot strike an inland city.
Bottom line is a response that doesn’t address (or incorrectly addresses) the issue undermines the entire rest of your position.

      1. “You watch too much CNN and CTV.”

Judging by some of the other comments here, he’s not the only one.

  12. Nobody wins in war.
Things just get reset till the next one.
Some want war so they can Build Back Better even sooner.
The march of the neo-Marxist is to cull humanity.
The Russians will win nothing and Ukraine will win nothing.
    Europe’s poor will win nothing.
The caviar class could care less.

  13. It’s been 8 years since Russia broke the agreement to guarantee Ukraine’s territorial integrity to encourage it to give up nuclear weapons. It would be child’s play for Ukrainians to knock off 100 or 1000 nukes. Are we sure they haven’t? If they haven’t, why the hell haven’t they?

    1. And then Obama screwed it all up by authorizing ICBM’s in Ukraine.

Meanwhile Hunter Biden and the Clinton crime family “energy experts” got to grifting via Russian energy exports. This war is more about maintaining the grift than territory.

      1. “And then Obama screwed it all up by authorizing ICBM’s in Ukraine.”

That never happened, and even if it did it’s not germane. Neither NATO nor ICBMs have anything to do with why Putler is warring on Ukraine.

          1. He is, but he is still right. Hussein Ogabe al-Chicago never authorized ICBMs in Ukraine. That is pure delusion.

BTW the “IC” in ICBM stands for “Intercontinental” can even the mot delusional among you explain their supposed purpose in Ukraine? Inquiring minds like to know.

P.S., I am old enough to remember Ogabe authorizing Hitlery to hand Pootin a reset button? Anyone else not suffering from amnesia around here?

  14. I see that the irrational tribalists are ruining this blog, as they have every other social media site.

A larger country, ruled by an oligarch who meets almost every definition of “Dictator”, has invaded a smaller country, despite treaties and commitments to the contrary. To people of PRINCIPLE, that is wrong.
It does not become ok, just because Biden, Trudeau etc, have agreed that it is wrong.

OBJECTIVELY, the definition of “victory” in military term is to achieve your objectives while preventing your enemy from achieving his.
Putin’s initial objective was to control the whole of Ukraine, eliminate its elected government, and instal a client government of his own choosing.
Ukraine’s objective is to remain as a free and independent nation, with the all or the majority of their territory intact, and with a government of their own choosing.

Judge for yourself who is “winning” at the moment.

As for predictions of doom and disaster…. I consider JP a very fine thinker, but I’m also aware that he is prone to depression and he is showing signs of it in this interview. Europe survived and rebuilt from a far worse situation in the late 1940s and 50s. Comparisons with the 1800s aren’t valid, because the knowledge and technology exist that they didn’t have then. It may be hard, it may be very uncomfortable, but humans are incredibly adaptable . It remains to be seen how stupid we have to get before we reject stupid and start valuing smart.

Not trashing our own values because they are uncomfortable would be a good start.

  15. And it’s a Canadian saying this on public media, breaking through the censorship and monotony.

  16. The United States taxpayer rebuilt Europe and Japan after WW2. If they are destroyed again, would the USA be willing and able to repeat the rebuild ? What makes you think North America won’t be a target? Prove me wrong.

  17. Peterson has no understanding of either russia or Ukraine and what drives either side or their leaders. Nor does he understand what they would consider a victory. Further, attempts to rationalize increasingly deranged and paranoid Pootin are futile to begin with.

Nevertheless he is right to an extent. The war will end in a pyrrhic Ukrainian victory. Ukraine will survive and that’s about it. Devastated, with millions of if its citizens murdered, sent to gulag, raped, their children kidnapped, economy in ruins. Those who survived the insane brutality of orc filtration camps, who has been raped, tortured, seen their loved one being mutilated for fun and amusement of the subhuman savages will forever be scarred. Ukraine is paying a terrible price and needs and deserves every help the civilized world can offer. NATO membership should be a start.

As for the orcs? The more of them are made good, the better. Hopefully the inevitable collapse is nearer than we predict.

  18. Much of the pro-Ukraine side’s rhetoric is eerily reminiscent of Adolph’s, what with their talks of orcs being made good, etc.
The same people that fund this war also like trampling their own people with horses, starving and freezing them, and sending cops to SWAT priests for wrongthink, etc, yet another similarity with Adolph.

    1. Yes credible discussion on the conflict in the Ukraine would never contain the phase orcs made good. I think Peterson’s got a pretty good grasp of the situation.

      1. Yes, for he convinced himself that valiant Pootin is fighting globalists and that is all that war is about. Yes really, he did.

      2. “Wait, you’re cheering for the Russians?”

No, he’s just not calling them subhumans and wishing them all dead.

  19. Most of the pro Pootinista arguments are pure cynical demagogy so characteristic of useful idiots who pearl clutch at “dehumanizing” offensive language but smile and look the other way when evidence of genocide is presented. They remind me of German officers pressing handkerchiefs to their noses at Chujowa Gorka.

    1. Ahh yes, genocide committed by an in incompetent army, always on the run from the Ukes, suffering crippling losses, with plucky Ukrainian seniors shooting fighter jets outta the sky with hunting rifles, that is when they’re not stuck in the mud.
Your story hangs together about as well as all the rest spouted by your side, that is the political left, be it the climate change, the whole tranny thing, or the ever-present threat of those evil white supremacists.

      1. Meanwhile corpses with hands bound at the back, and severed testicles are being exhumed in Izjum, that has been confirmed by independent journalists like Mateusz Lachowski… keep pressing that handkerchief to your nose unterscharfuhrer.

        1. “Meanwhile corpses with hands bound at the back, and severed testicles are being exhumed in Izjum, that has been confirmed by independent journalists like Mateusz Lachowski…”

Who says that the Ukrainians themselves didn’t do that? They have committed enough documented atrocities *against their own people* already.

          1. Anyone with brains and a shred of integrality knows that Siberian Mongols did that. Several victims have been identified. Forensic analysis allows for timing of the executions. Because this is standard orc MO.

And no Ukrainians, haven’t been committing atrocities. There cannot even be a talk about Ukrainian war crimes as genocide perpetrated against them by the Siberian horde trumps all conventions. Also, executing traitors and collaborators with the occupiers is not a war crime.

          2. Also, the fact that you demand to be convinced, about what you obviously already know is true, automatically shows that you’re a disingenuous demagogue.

    2. “Most of the pro Pootinista arguments are pure cynical demagogy so characteristic of useful idiots who pearl clutch at “dehumanizing” offensive language but smile and look the other way when evidence of genocide is presented. ”

The level of blind hatred you demonstrate for the ‘orcs’ and ‘Siberians’ marks you as an extremist, and you lack the necessary maturity to even attempt to hide your blood lust. If you want people to take you or your opinions seriously, try acting like a reasonable, rational adult.

  20. Shrug. Pootin is doing it for one reason: he knows he can get away with it because the governments of all the great democracies are chock full of cowards. Chamberlin infestations everywhere – all sides of the national legislatures and throughout the electorates.

    1. I think Putin is shocked that the western powers HAVE stood up him. Not to the extent of direct fighting, but by providing arms to Ukraine, economic sanctions, reducing imports of Russian petroleum, and expanding NATO.

      1. Yes, that is one of the shocks he is experiencing, the other is that the three day war just finished its seventh month. As the truism goes: generals always prepare for the last war. Ukrainians expected russians to fight like they fought in 2014 and designed their army specifically to counter it. Russians expected Ukrainians to fight like they did in 2014 (i.e. badly) and felt no need to make changes (yes, I know some organizational changes were made, broad strokes here). Results are apparent.

  21. // Peterson has no understanding of either russia or Ukraine and what drives either side or their leaders. //
For some contrast to Peterson’s bafflegab:
” Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Gen. Valery Zaluzhny had written that Russian cruise missiles “could strike across the country with ‘impunity,’” adding that “limited nuclear war cannot be ruled out.”
As we all know, the escalation ladder from limited to terminal nuclear war is all too easy to climb.
To put it simply, the U.S. position that the war must continue to severely weaken Russia, blocking negotiations, is based on a quite remarkable assumption: that facing defeat, Putin will pack his bags and slink away to a bitter fate ”
Noam Chomsky: 22 Sept 2022 The War in Ukraine Has Entered a New Phase
    https://truthout.org/articles/noam-chomsky-the-war-in-ukraine-has-entered-a-new-phase/

    1. Chimpski missies the point as he normally does. But for someone who made a career out of never learning economics this is predictable. The war is ruining russia. None expects Pootin to back off. As a matter of fact, the longer he is in power the better, as his decisions are increasingly deranged and based on fantasies like Hitler circa 1945. If Pootin was replaced now, and someone competent took over, the German trained seals would clap with joy on returning to the old normal. This would be the worst possible outcome with Ukraine guaranteed to be invaded again as soon as Germans buy enough russian oil for russia to rearm. Forget it, russia needs to once and for all collapse with this.

      1. // the longer he is in power the better, as his decisions are increasingly deranged and based on fantasies like Hitler circa 1945. //
And if this “deranged” fellow drops a few nuclear bombs?
That’s the sort of consideration that leads Americans, including Chomsky, to calibrate their responses.
[I’m assuming that you didn’t read the whole article]

        1. Of course I will not be wasting time to read Chimpsky. He is probably the world’s dumbest so-called “intelectual” and a greatest piece of excrement demagogue with the longest track record among the established ones. He should have been hanged for treason again and again, for decades. The fact that you use it as a source for anything other than the proof Chimpsky is a POS, only confirms that you yourself are vile. But we already know that.

As for Siberians using or not using nukes Chimpsky has no insight to offer. Bottom line is that if Pootin tried using nukes those around him (who are not suicidal) would make him suicide. Until then, the more damage he does to Chimpsky’s beloved russia the better.

        2. Also, I note that you, just like Chimpsky, never miss an opportunity to dismiss the suffering of victims of regimes that are at odds with America. Typical commie, so richly deserving a helicopter ride.

          1. edith ! stifle !
Just in case anyone of sense is paying attention, I’ll just point out that Chomsky supports aid to Ukraine.
But he also considers nuclear war to be a major current threat,
AND, as an American, he is critical the U.S. taking advantage of the crisis to regain its loosening
hegemony over Europe to the detriment of possible opportunities for negotiation.

          2. Chimpsky always does that, looks for an angle to undermine US foreign policy and help America’s enemies while pretending to be a humanitarian. He did the same thing re Cuba, Nicaragua, Chile, Middle East, Eastern Europe during Cold War and pretty much everywhere else. It is hard to find someone who was more consistently wrong for decades. He knows that power abhors vacuum and he loves for enemies of civilization to fill it in. Always under the pretense of preventing a nuclear war or another world ending disaster. Load him on the next Huey as far as I am concerned. Free bungee jumping, offer valid with no strings attached.

  22. Interesting how some people maintain that Germany, indeed all of Europe, need to fear an allegedly incompetent army, so much so that they desperately need more client states to the supra-national orgs.

  23. Interesting how Siberian supporters, can never make an honest argument and always rely on chap rhetorical tricks and twisting arguments of their opponents out of context.

  24. The alternative to a victory against Putin at all costs is not „peace“ but genocide. Temporally destroyed buildings that can and will be rebuild better in a few years are not „ruins“ in any meaningful sense. Germany was in „ruins“ in 1945 and on its way to becoming an economic powerhouse 5 years later, the same holds true for Japan. I have as much contempt and hatred for the Greens as anybody else but it would be naive to think that they are the only evildoers and bad actors. Every dead Russian soldier is a great good for humanity at the moment, just as was the cause with German and Japanese soldiers in WW2 (I am a German, both my grandfathers were German soldiers, one of whom didn’t survive WW2). Putin will not be able to invade many more countries if Russias manhood is sufficiently decimated in Ukraine. If the Russian people will decapitate their evil regime, all the better, but if not there will be no „peace“.
