Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

in 1980 i was in east germany. about 30% of the population were socialists. A number that has stuck in my head ever since. in collaboration with the ruskkies they managed to run the place for about 50 years . from 1945 to 1995. they never really recovered.
Well, it seems to have worked pretty well. The old “if I can’t (usually a won’t, rather than a can’t) do it, he shouldn’t get away with it” rationale for squealing is at an all-time high. It’s all done anonymously, of course.
It’s an admission of sorts: a coward’s spiteful response when he realizes what he is.
Crab bucket mentality.
The Stasi encouraged people to snitch on each other to create an environment of fear and mistrust. Many times, they would often conscript informants, often under threat of punishment if they seemed unwilling to inform on friends or family members.
Well it didn’t take much conditioning.
I remember a poll (yeah I know, a poll…) that said 85% of Canadians thought it was okay to ratfck your neighbor to “keep everyone safe”. This wasn’t long into the lockdowns.
Canada is an unserious country of smug, busybodies who are morally bankrupt sheep.
“Just get in line, people and – one at a time, please – go through those doors when the light above turns green…”
It bothers me to hear you say that, because it is so eff n accurate !
“One of the purposes of covid was…”
Might have to go out on a limb here, but I believe it is more correct to say “One of the OPPORTUNITIES of COVID was…”
I remain unconvinced the Ruling Left are competent to organise a deliberate virus. I believe they organised a virus and then farced it up completely because they are so arrogant they believe it is their right to do things and accidents are things you can’t control.
(side note – go to your Engineering Safety Engineer and see if you can use the ‘accidents happen’ line)
So I don’t believe the Elite planned the pandemic, but once they realised they had one they fell over each other to take full advantage.
Pricks.
agreed. As I noted on another thread, I don’t think that “central planners” are smart enough to recognize that there will always be negative consequences. This is part of why the policies of the left cause such havoc, because how they look at the world means that they can’t do an effective cost/benefit analysis.
you’re definitely right about them being opportunists.
