    a strategy; one where millions of illegal immigrants would fill the low and unskilled labour positions. Thus keeping wages low for the billionaire franchise owners, who donate to the
    Democrats. Then the illegal immigrants will, out of gratitude, vote for the Democrats.

    Now Democrat controlled California is screwing around with one of the major industries
    that employs low/unskilled workers. What could go wrong?

  10. Like all Leftist Democrat actions … there is a much deeper motive than what is expressed in the New Fast Food Labor Laws. The goal is to eliminate Fast Food altogether. Why? Because McDonalds is clear cutting the rain forest to raise cattle for slaughter to feed their burger Patty machines (sic). Because Americans are too fat. Because Fast Food is unhealthy (sic). They know these labor laws are going to slice the CA Fast Food Industry thinner than the onion on your 1/4 pounder. Fast Food patronage will crater in the face of price increases. This law will HURT the vast majority of Fast Food workers … as they’ll now be unemployed and too unskilled to obtain another job. The image of a Fast Food workers living in their cars is going to get WORSE, not better.

    You want to call these Leftists ignorant for not understanding they’ll actually HURT Fast Food workers with this government interference … until you realize they know exactly what they’re doing. They’re deliberately destroying demand for Fast Food burgers … and reducing the number of cattle. Today, these cretins are all patting themselves on the back … smugly self satisfied that they have made CA the MOST radical State in the nation.

California is prime habitat for such sociopaths but both left coasts and central-eastern Canada give it a close second.

Increasing the minimum wage will increase the number of illegals flipping burgers and the number of Americans collecting pogey. This will work right up to the point that it doesn’t. I hope they raise the wages as much as possible, being an impatient guy and a non-fast-food eater.

  17. There is nothing so screwed up that government can’t make it worse. It’s long overdue for Red states to begin isolating California and their outsized influence on national policies and politics. A sensible first step would be to cease supplying them with electricity.
