  1. Well that makes sense. UC Berkeley still has a huge proportion of Asian students … who are culturally indoctrinated to live like Chinese peasants riding bicycles and wearing masks. They’ll happily accept the FACTUAL stupidity of this … because their Tiger moms tell them to.

  2. Masks are only recommended for COVID no matter what your vax status is, but required for flu if you’re not vaxed for that. I guess they no longer teach logic at UC Berkley.

  5. Who gets vaccinated for Flu at 20 years old???? These people are utterly, stark-raving MAD. Phawk.

    1. These are the children of helicopter moms who forbid their kids from climbing trees … because they might fall and break their arms … they’re STILL wrapping them in a bubble.

      I never realized how lucky I was to roam the hills, creeks, orchards, and rocks in my verdant suburban wonderland. Covered in dirt, pollen, and pond scum. And I rarely get sick. Rarely.

  6. There has never been an effective vaccination against influenza, I know I’ve heard that somewhere. And, I believe it. Show us a vaccine which prevents you getting the flu, first.
    Don’t confuse a flu shot with a vaccine. They are not the same.

    1. I believe I have read a reliable source that says the annual flu shot is only 40-60% effective. That does not seem very good to me. In fact I have come to believe they do nothing at all. If no one took the flu shot, the same people would die and the same people would live and the same people would not even notice flu season.

  7. An Ontario hospital board tried this in 2015. The nurses union fought it and took them to arbitration. They won.
    The reason they won? None of the government representatives could point to any science that established that wearing masks reduced influenza transmission. In fact they were forced to admit that it was very scant.
    Pop quiz: Guess the name of one of the people who appeared on the government’s behalf and had to admit that the science was wanting. Here’s a hint: Her first name starts with the letter ‘B’.

  10. Speaking as a UC Berkeley alum … yes … the campus and the city are a sewer of misfit children. But, ironically … the Berkeley Hills are loaded with $10M homes and really $$$Rich WHITE Leftists … who all pretend they’re proles

  14. Okay. I see Asians that have to be second or third generation wearing masks on the street,hiking in Banff,driving alone in cars. Masks are pretty much only on Asians and old women now. I can’t explain it without linking it to driving skills
