August 19, 2022: Reader Tips

This evening we present Larry Elder’s 2020 film, Uncle Tom: An Oral History of the American Black Conservative.

Your most provocative tips are really appreciated!

Bonus: Walking through downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico yesterday morning, there was an older couple a few steps behind me. The salesman from one of those skin care stores said to them, “I have just the thing to fix those bags under your eyes.”

Maybe time to rethink his sales pitch?!?

    1. The plan is to starve us with the fertilizer ban. If you grow your own crops you’ll be put on the list. When it’s time they’ll come for you. Don’t doubt me.

      1. Not doubting you. A few years back CFIA started poking their bureaucratic noses in local abbatoirs, monitoring the welfare of animals being transported. Another form to be filled out. Mission creep. Got to put those hours in to get a pension

    2. I have lots of room in my garden for inspectors. I hear they make good fertilizer.
If you allow it, they will come and never stop.

      1. She’s from ‘social democrat’ party. In Europe, social-democracy is pure socialism, NDP AOC style.

    1. I hear you, Al. Me, too. I can vote for climate/race Bolsheviks on the one hand (Dips), or the climate/race Bolsheviks who want to build more condos for Chinese investors (Libs). Oh, and the latter are even more corrupt than the former (forgot to add that!)

    1. Actually the reason is the Western Leaders are winding down our energy production on purpose.
They are deliberately trying to induce a massive depression along with huge societal upheaval, with the goal at the end of it to have total control of us plebes otherwise known as The Great Reset or Build Back Better.
In order to build it , you gotta destroy it first.

You will have no gasoline, diesel, propane, kerosene , NG, coal or any other carbon fuel to use, that will be reserved for the elites.
You will not own an electric vehicle as our Masters will price electricity out of reach of the average prole.
You will eat the bugs, scratch the dirt for a living , OWN NOTHING and be a happy serf or else.

    1. Ah Comrade Stelter.

He reminds me of a line from George Orwell’s 1984.

” He was a fattish but active man of paralyzing stupidity, a mass of imbecile enthusiasms – one of those completely unquestioning, devoted drudges on whom , more even than on the Thought Police , the stability of The Party depended upon “.

“Illinois’ NorthShore University Health at one point was firing employees who refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19, even those with religious objections. Now the company is paying the price – literally – for this policy as NorthShore has agreed to a settlement that will pay employees affected a sum of $10.3 million.”

      1. The link goes to facebook., as I believe that is where Dan Bongino posted it. There is precedent with Bill Clinton in federal court that the president has absolute control of his paperwork i It was not appealed . If someone can share this without facebook , that would be great. I think it is interesting and important. Bongino clearly spells it out and how he believes they are going to try and change their story.

  3. Mexico Sees it’s Energy Future in Fossil Fuels, Not Renewables.

“People say: ‘how is he going to fulfill his commitments to climate change?’ And I always tell people, ‘well, he doesn’t care,’” Tony Payan, a Mexico expert at the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University, said of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador . “He’s an oil man.”

(I’m not cool with the government taking over private energy companies,,, but I do like the big F U, to the climate cultists.)
