Assuming climate was static until the beginning of the industrial revolution is beyond ignorant, nothing in nature is static; but it is convenient for Climate Nutters to allow the uneducated to carry on believing that every year was just like the previous, for millions of years, until the invention of the internal combustion engine.
In a related note, the failure of educators in the Western world to educate is intentional. Far easier to mislead the uneducated with anti-scientific tripe, than the educated.
It sure appears that what started as an honest scientific research institute was soon after taken over by politically-motivated corrupt carpet-baggers. Pity Lamb, he must be rolling in his grave at the sight of what his creation has become.
