Ottawa citizens have learned what Trudeau and his totalitarian minions are capable of.
Much like repeatedly beating a poor dog, humans in a so-called democracy quickly learn their boundaries when they venture out of their crates. Sharing their true thoughts isn’t on the agenda.

I honestly can’t tell if this is parody or not.
Sure thing Lucy. This is the first thing that goes in a tyranny, honest answers to simple questions.
Ever notice how I never use Shiny Pony’s name? This is why.
…what? Are you actually dumb enough to believe we live in a ‘tyranny’?
Notice how you haven’t been carted off for your stupid comments here? That’s because we don’t live in a tyranny at least not yet.
History something you most obviously never took….ever.
Dumb as a stump as per usual.
I know more history than you could ever know. All you have is your persecution complex.
If this was the GDR in the 1970s, you would be pestering the Stasi to make you one of their snitches. I just have this feeling about you…
Oh yeah. Dude is totally Stazi material. He probably works for the RCMP, they’re the only ones who still troll this blog looking for White Supremacy!!!
What do you call it when the government freezes the bank accounts of people because they contributed money to a -legal- charity?
What do you call it when the government proposes to ban the use of fertilizers and crop pest controls?
“What do you call it when the government freezes the bank accounts of people because they contributed money to a -legal- charity?”
Probably a bad idea. It’s not tyranny. Not yet at least.
“What do you call it when the government proposes to ban the use of fertilizers and crop pest controls?”
An outright ban is lunacy. I don’t think we’re going to outright ban these things.
What do you call it when the government sends armed cavalry to trample unarmed, peaceful protestors?
I note that the Riot Act was never read.
How many Canada wide warrants have been issued for breaking mischief bail conditions in Canadian history?
Read a history book sometime.
Of course you can t tell if it is parody.
People like you can t tell the difference between our verified and provable facts, and what the media tells you you must believe just because their heavily edited and out of context 4 second video of a 37 Minute event seems to show what you want to believe
Ask Nick Sandman who won his law suit against CNN how the media so easily manipulated hundreds of millions of people and convinced them of the exact opposite of what actually happened on that day.
How could you tell parody from reality when you can t tell propaganda from genuine information
“I honestly can’t tell if that’s my ass, or just a hole in the ground.” We’d noticed, actually, but glad you confirmed it.
He also can’t tell if men can have babies.
But if he was born it’s because his parents made an irrational choice.
Sandmann didn’t win any suits they were all settled, and the most recent batch of lawsuits were dismissed. The irony here is incredible.
What differs between won or settled hmmm.
Are you that totally IGNORANT to attempt to differ..?? Fk me gently.
Settled means Kyle was good and decent enough to allow those Scum to offer him Millions…and save said FILTHY LYING Scum the cost of decades long litigation.
He F’ing WON Large sonny. You can spin that any way from Sunday ….but fact remains, he won & the media lost…..PERIOD
“What differs between won or settled hmmm.”
An actual legal verdict. The settlement amounts also weren’t disclosed, and the most recent lawsuits were dismissed.
UnMe is either a 65 IQ person who cannot tell what is real and what is not
or he is paid to come here and torment us
no matter how solid the facts are, he will simply say there are no facts or will repeat ad nauseum the opposite of the facts.
He hopes to wear us down to the point we will say something awful so he can then send the police to harass us and then the CBC can use such an angry comment, such an event to paint EVERY right leaning Canadian as being a bad person.
Either he is simply a very low IQ leftist
or
he is sent here on an entrapment mission.
Either way he is not very good at it.
His performance is pathetic.
“the most recent batch of lawsuits were dismissed”
And will likely be successfully appealed to be followed by quick settlements. He was a kid and the media lied to destroy his reputation to sell ads, a slam dunk.
Such a slam dunk that he didn’t actually win in court, just a mix of settlements and dismissals.
Two things,
-1- CNN agreed to give Nick Sandman mountains of money.
I know this is beyond what your small mind can comprehend but when the one being sued agrees to pay the victim a mountain of money – even if it is settled out of court – It is an admission of guilt.
Settling out of court is done to save money, not to prove your innocence.
But even if CNN had refused to pay Sandman, try and use all of your 65 IQ points and try to understand point #2
-2- If you had watched the original un-edited video that shows clearly it was the old indian harassing Nick Sandman, and thus proves that all those big media CNN, New York Times and LIED when they said Nick Sandman harassed the old indian, you would have never posted your reply to me that sounds like it was written by an 8 year old.
I don t know if it is Soros, the Liberal party, the CBC ( but I repeat myself) or the RCMP who pays you to come here and try and cause trouble , but whatever they are paying you, you are not worth the money they pay you.
You are here to make us look bad, but the more you try, the more you make us look good.
Why should they say anything bad about Prinz Dummkopf? After all, he is the fount of all goodness and joy, right?
Two eggs, side by each!
The refusing to answer take is overplayed. Quite a few people support him and said they’d vote for him again. That’s the really disappointing side of the story.
That was also my takeaway
People on the right can’t believe that the left still love him. Especially women.
That’s just an observation on my part but this little video seems to support my theory that he could easily win again.
Do they really support him, or are they just scared of being recognized and then having their bank accounts seized?
As I have been saying for close to 20 years, leftists have a dictator, a tyrant inside them that wants to come out.
Leftism everywhere, in Canada with liberals ( treating freedom truckers worse than muslim terrorists) , in the USA with Democrats ( why do you think they are so harsh and so cruel to january 6 protesters) in Europe too are more and more authoritarian, less and less tolerant, and are more and more cruel to anyone who is anti-left, to anyone who dares leaning right.
Even though – for now- they are not as bad as Stalin, Mussolini or Ceausescu, those leftists leaders are gradually behaving more and more like those monsters.
Like the proverbial slowly boiled frog that does not react until it is too late, those liberals increase the level of tyranny slowly on us, and one day when people realize what is going on it will be too late.
Making their opponents and their supporters so scared, scared of losing their job, scared of having their bank account frozen, scared of being dragged at 4am in handcuffs and thrown in jail, and then scared that a corrupt judge will give them the harshest sentence ( in the US they want to give 60 years in jail for a man who pepper sprayed a police officer…yes that is about 50 times too harsh ) , so scared that eventually no one will dare oppose a leftist.
People who get most of their news from the main stream media, when they read a comment like mine, laugh at it, dismiss it as silly conspiracy theory, because their brainwashed hypnothised ignorant minds are about 50 years behind what the facts are.
Most of the people I know are liberals…so yes I would know.
if the media told them everyday that from now on 2+2=5, they would gladly agree and call me conspiracy theorist for saying it equals 4.
Their brain are deeply controlled by the main stream media.
It is sad and scary.
Even though – for now- they are not as bad as Stalin, Mussolini or Ceausescu…
Will disagree with you there. Trudeau crossed that line with the nitrogen emissions. “Reducing nitrogen emissions by one third” is cover for “reducing the food supply by one third”.
Trudeau is planning a famine. He’s joining the big boys’ club of despots with his intent. Will he pull it off? Will there be a Canadian Holodomor? I don’t know which way I’d bet. But we’re all betting with our lives now.
People who get most of their news from the main stream media, when they read a comment like mine, laugh at it, dismiss it as silly conspiracy theory, because their brainwashed hypnothised ignorant minds are about 50 years behind what the facts are.
Part of their dismissal is also fear. They don’t want to believe that such evil can happen here. A friend of mine is a federal employee and she absolutely believes the party line and the media narrative – she will literally mentally and emotionally shut down and weep if you try to discuss anything beyond that.
The weeping disengagement suggests to me a state of fear and terror. I think she knows what might be possible but just cannot bring herself to consider it. She may be terrified that, in being a civil servant, she might even be complicit in it.
I agree with you that there is a lot of ignorance out there. And pure ignorance is likely the majority condition. But I also think there’s some terror – some see it but react with an almost debilitating denial and just push on to preserve their world view and, perhaps, even their entire sense of self.
When the famine comes, they will believe it to be due to climate change. And they’ll condemn anyone who prepared to try to feed themselves and their families as hoarders, saboteurs, and wreckers. I think some of the terrified might have psychotic breaks when the coming horrors arrive. And to preserve themselves, they will lash out with unimaginable fury and cruelty to those like us who tried to warn them about what’s coming.
On a more cheerful note, Alexa is absolutely adorable in that outfit!
Almost my entire family are likewise. But as I noted elsewhere to a friend, what do you expect when the consensus narrative of the last 50 years about Canada and Canadians, amplified by media, is that we are a polite, virtuous, caring and inoffensive people who love hockey, beer, and, for good measure, multiculturalism. With all that piffle and conceit drilled into us, it’s not surprising the average Canadian cannot fathom the possibility that our government doesn’t have our best interests at heart and may, in fact, be capable of being as evil as any other in history. Other than historically aware critical thinkers, the furthest most would go in assessing the actions and rhetoric of our current leaders is that they still have noble intentions that are perhaps being implemented in a misguided and/or indelicate way.
That’s my take from the sample size of friends, family, and others I have engaged with over the last couple of years.
Very well stated Lickmuffin+++++ Sadly, I cannot disagree with anything in your post!

Great post – Bang on.
Christ I’m quite surprised that anyone in that cesspool voiced an opinion against the stinking little turd.
I think this can be interpreted as quite a leap in the right direction.
I dream of a day when my descendants can live without hearing what street people east of Saskatchewan think.
Notice the age of the pro Trudeau people.
Interesting that Rebel had for/against/neutral support of Trudeau. That completely aside. The last place you do a man on the street asking about the PM is Ottawa. Likely everyone you talk to works for the government and to speak ill of dear leader is a career ending.
Well if I had been asked, as I live in Ottawa, it would have been the longest, foul-mouthed rant you’ve ever heard.
Probably just one long beep, actually.
Edgar from the play King Lear described him well: “I know thee well. A serviceable villein,
As duteous to the vices of thy mistress
As badness would desire.”
Personally, I think the following from Act 1, Scene V would be a more accurate description of you-know-who:
“Thou wouldst make a good fool.”
Note that villein doesn’t mean villian, it means villager.
You have to understand the culture of this city. Remember… Ottawa is a government town. It’s chief contributor to this city’s GDP is the federal government. Over a third of the work force works in the public sector, which includes government of all levels, primarily the federal government.
So you must also understand why people, especially in the downtown core, are so hesitant to speak out against the turd. Very likely the people Alexa interviewed work in, or for the federal government in some capacity, either as a public employee or as an outsourced contractor. If they’re caught saying anything negative against the current government… the chief contributor to their increasing work force, they will be… [ahem] “isolated” to say the least, by their peers or bosses. Having worked with these people, I can personally attest to their behavior. I had to sever at least two contracts because of a rapidly hostile work environment, and that’s even after keeping my personal views to myself. It’s after hearing these people talk about, of all things, my religious beliefs, that made these work environments so inhospitable, and I am being kind when I say this.
These are NOT good people. They live and work in their own bubble, completely isolating themselves from reality. Once you understand the mentality of the typical citizen of this dank metropolis, it should be easy for you to understand why they behave the way they do, and why it is so easy for people in this city to frown against anyone who does anything to protest anything the government does.
I’m afraid to say this, but this city is lost to the authoritarians. There is no hope here of turning the tide. There is no way, short of a nuclear holocaust, that you’re going to get these people to connect the dots regarding this government’s tyranny, and I’m afraid the same can be said for most, if not all of this country’s major urban centers. Once you start pulling away from the cities, and into the rural areas, where PP’s riding is, you’ll find a better reception for the freedom message. That’s not going to be enough to save this country, though.
Having worked been a contractor in a certain government establishment, I know what you’re referring to.
There was certain blinkered mentality that prevailed there and woe betide anyone who questioned the system or even poked fun at it. It was probably bad enough being a government employee there, but body brokers (the name we gave to the contracting companies) were all too willing to have anyone regarded as troublesome replaced by simply not renewing their contract and finding someone else to fill that position.
In my last contract with the feds, I was required to submit monthly “feedback reports” to the agency managing the contract. after my last report, which was pretty damning, but with good reason, I was asked by the manager of the agency for my resignation. You are so correct about the ease of finding another body to replace me, but in this case, further into the conversation, the manager, after asking him to confirm his request for my resignation, tried to walk it back. Having this conversation occurring on a Friday (what else is new), the manager asked that I take the weekend for both of us to reconsider our positions… a “cooling off” period. I responded by saying that he crossed the line, and to expect my resignation promptly as requested.
Strangely enough, after later on, requesting reference letters from “the client” (the department I was working for), I was promptly rebuffed because they were told that I had quit without warning, meaning that the agency threw me under the bus, telling them that I had quit without saying that the agency manager had asked for my resignation. The client responded accordingly to my request for a reference letter with vindictiveness. Apparently, they were unprepared for my sudden departure, because the client had told me that I had caused all kinds of trouble with their human resources, and staffing, which probably left a black eye to the agency, but didn’t do my rep any good either.
I try to tell everyone that would care to listen that these people are not good people. They live in their own bubble, completely isolating themselves from the real world. They’re main objective is to work just long enough to collect their golden parachute pensions. They have little regard for servicing their client, which is the people of Canada, and they have practiced the art of office politics to an art form. The workplace environment doesn’t exactly fit with what I would consider the norm. The Peter principle is fully in force within the federal government with more and more affirmative action hires and promotions.
That also sounds familiar.
Vindictiveness was also something I encountered as a government contractor. It seemed that I made enemies at that facility or with the contracting company, though I’m not sure how.
The leader of the group I reported to looked for an excuse to get rid of me and, towards the end of my contract, certain things happened which I was blamed. It wasn’t renewed, not that I allowed to tell my side of the story before it expired. Shortly before I left, the aforementioned government lackey told me a list of my alleged sins, thereby justifying what happened.
Bureaucrats, whether in government or private industry, are alike.
Yes. Lots of truth there.
Question: in an age of video conferencing and encrypted comms, why do we need a legislature building or capital city?
In a “democracy” where the PMO calls all the shots, why do we need a legislature?
So that MPs won’t jerk off during meetings.
This is why you NEVER give up your guns to the government. NEVER.
And when they come for them, give them just the bullets. At about 1700 fps.
You fresh out of academy?
Yep, that’s Lucy alright.
So sorry you can’t speak like that in Canuckistan. Here in the US we do have freedom of speech. My words don’t incite anything illegal, so I have nothing to worry about.
… and speaking of totalitarianism, to view that clip, I had to skip over to something other than google who seems to have delisted that video, a video somewhat positive to Trudeau. Hey not one person spit on the ground after hearing his name.
Notice that the Francophones have more b@lls and say how they dislike the loser.
Give the French credit: if he gets ousted it won’t be because Ontario offed him, it will be because Quebec turns on him.
God and Santa Claus willing.
Yes, the French have gone secular in big numbers in the past 5 decades, and they somtimes vote federally in a big block (e.g. NDP vote for Layton), as the wind changes. The Pope visit/apology trip was obviously a fail.
Apparently, sign-ups for the Conservative Party were large in Quebec and Ontario. I hope that hope that this doesn’t indicate support for Brown (now eliminated) nor Charest, the traitor in red underwear.
I am hoping that Quebec will do it this time, as they must be embarrassed by Trudeau.
I think he’s a wonderful fellow, he gave a blind man the opportunity to give him a haircut, and he gave a crazy man from a distant land a wonderful holiday in our country, where he got to meet hundreds of Canadians. There is no end to the good deeds our glorious leader has done, and will surely do, until he is stopped.
