  1. I’m not sure I agree with the assessment that viewers/ readers are tuning out because of the constant barrage of negative news. I, especially, don’t agree with that since the media is doing everything they can possibly do (some of it outright hilarious) to mitigate the negative aspect of the news and how it reflects on those who are creating the negative news. While in comparison, they went out of their way to highlight the bad news in the previous presidential administration and as a result their demographic numbers increased.

    Obviously, there is another more potent reason. Viewership/readership is declining because more and more people are figuring out just what that other reason happens to be. The fact that viewers/readers paid such close attention to the COVID news and how it was presented was extremely telling to those who didn’t pay much attention to the news delivery system in the past. Ooops.

    “I just read an article which showed a recent poll, which showed that there are record drops in people getting their news from mainstream sources. Simply put, more & more people realize that what is being presented is all lies. So I’m curious why you are engaging in an activity where you KNOW they’re lying to you. What’s your motivation for intentionally letting yourself be constantly lied to? Do you think we should find you a psychiatrist?”

  4. You would think that the experts who put this assessment together would be familiar with the term that’s been popular in media since the beginning of the 19th century. “If it bleeds, it leads.”

  5. Is the viewership down because of constant bad news like the article implies or is it because of the lost of trust in MSM reporting which has sharply increased since old Bitten took office and after the “virus” vitriol?

    We have to keep in mind that overall the economy (Gas price, inflation) was good before Joe took office.
    The article should explain that while CNN and MSNBC took huge nosedives, why did FOX increase by 12% if people are tuning out because of constant bad news?

  6. The CBC here in Hillbillyville NB has the same news story menu everyday. Everyday. Lead story is Covid porn. Followed by a stroy that proves conservative/white men are evil nazis, then a gushing report about how Liberals /Trudeau are divine. Then there is always a story on how poorly the white men have treated the natives and that it can only be made right by giving the “we were here first crowd” another shitload ton of the white mans money. The menu ends with another feel good story about struggling visible minorities and how they have such a hard time accessing colonial, white money and services. Same menu everyday. Totally worth 2 billion in tax payer subsidies.

  8. The main Stream Media has been spewing propaganda (at least here in Canada), for a minimum of 50 years…. CBC / CTV leading the charge.

    And it shows in the vast mass of ABSOLUTE BRAIN DEAD Canadians..Brought up to BELIEVE..!! clinging to their beliefs that Govt/Media would never deceive them…

    Yet Trudeaus rankings have got to be somewhere under a steaming pile in a toilet no..??

  9. What f#cking moronic analysis. They think people are tuning out news because of all the bad news now under Biden, and because of Trump-era crises, scandals and tweets? How about the fact that news is left-wing propaganda and lies.

  11. My youtube feed forces me to skip over the entire third row down “Top News” recommendations of Canadian MSM bullshit lies every day for years now.
    All paid with our tax dollars to elect Liberals.
    I have never and will not ever click on anything from them.
    Reminds me every day why I despise them so much.
