  1. Blackie should be skewered and rotisseried – I know that’s not a word – on a Pop Up BBQ outside of any Ottawa Loblaw and for every chunk people buy they get 1000 PC points.
I’d feed pieces to carp in the Rideàu river as they are bottom-feeders.

    1. He is going to get what’s coming to him. Lib support numbers are in continuous decline the past month despite the wall-to-wall budget announcements giving free money to everyone. Right now, Blackie is in Kim Campbell territory the Lib numbers are so bad.

And Jughead is even worse. Jughead has been in steady decline through the whole of this year. The Greens are edging downward, and PPC is stuck at 2%, which is nowhere. Only the Bloc is also showing some growth with PPC but only in Quebec and all at the expense of the Libs/Dibs.

These projections come from 338Canada, and I can provide a link if you want.

  2. I don’t know anything about Loblaws but I know costs as a meat producer are driving me under. Last week I bought two head of cattle at auction. After slaughter fees I am looking at up to 300 dollars profit each. Before storage , delivery and my labour. I charge significantly more than the stores do.

  3. Canadians, especially those who complain about a guy slaughtering goats in is garage, deserve this and more.

  4. When you cut a goat’s throat to bleed it, it screams like a human being.

    1. I saw the neighbors across the street do it in Lagos, Nigeria circa 1969. I’ve never forgot it. It takes awhile to bleed out a large goat.

    2. And you’ve determined this by cutting how many human being’s throats, exactly?

    1. Well, ironically, Metro ended up buying A&P which owned Dominion, and Dominion was chaired by Montegu Black (Conrad’s brother) who raided the employee pension plan before selling the company, stripping it of all excess pension contributions. The Black’s were the largest shareholders in Argus Corp. which owned Dominion.

  5. So Loblaw’s has a profit margin of just over 3%, according to one poster in that feed.
And Blackie is upset? He should be grateful – investors and owners would make more money if they closed the stores, fired all the employees, and simply put their money in a safe investment portfolio.
3% in these times is not a good return. But Blackie & co. like to trot out the dollar amount, as it makes it sound more like we need to Punish the Rich. Ok…..but punishing successful businesses that actually employ people is not always the best plan, even tho it plays well for the aging CBC crowd and the new young lefties who have no financial experience or acumen.
However, in an era of Cultural Marxism….we must always punish the successful (they must have oppressed somebody) and reward the failures (they are obviously oppressed).
Wonder what we will get more of?

    1. I think the 3% profit margin is on sales – not a return on capital, But I take your point. Perhaps a better way of putting it is: if Loblaws reduced their prices by 3% the public would hardly even notice but Loblaws would soon go out of business.

    2. Yes not once did the media say the percentage of profit? The NDP keep saying TAX excessive profit . What is that in percent? How about the marketing boards ( milk eggs chicken ) what there percent profit ? It would be nice to have at least one reporter ask that question.

  6. I will support a boycott of Loblaws when the government can supply me with the rutabagas and the jalapenos that I require, rather than just the fertilizer in the form of Bull Shit that I get on a daily basis from Trudeau & co.

    1. I am now representing a Mexican singer named Rutabaga Jalapeno. Interested venues please contact me for booking details.

  8. Every single time I’ve been to a Safeway or Sobeys or Calgary Coop, I’ve been offended by how much higher the prices have been compared to Superstore. Walmart is close most of the time to Superstore prices, but the stuff I’ve been used to for a few decades is far more likely to be found at Superstore.

I think it’s the proven idiots who shop at Safeway / Sobeys, the selection of food is tier 2, as is Calgary Coop, where the prices are higher yet and the selection is the worst.

Hopefully, all those leftists continue to shop at the higher priced food venues.

  9. I have one question: are the organizers card-carrying Liberals or InDeepers?
