    1. Don’t forget that Max was minister of defence for a time. He is also rumoured to be a WEF member. The only way that voting can break this is to vote in as many independent MPs as possible which would break the party model. Good luck with that.

      1. You can’t break the party model, it’s a fundamental element of the Westminster Parliamentary system.

    2. ra, if Poilievre can win the leadership, I will at least give him the chance to ‘cleanse’ the party of it’s leftardism before I write him off. Trump ultimately couldn’t do it for his party, and I suspect Poilievre won’t be able to rid his of CINOs, either… but he at least will have finally earned the opportunity to prove his conservative bona-fides to us… or not.

      Prelvis, don’t forget that vetting ‘sincere conservatives’ to run as independents will be even more difficult than vetting proper conservatives to run in a supposed conservative party. Also, remember that conservatism itself is under attack from a fairly broad swatch of society, including some that call themselves conservative. The PPC is not immune to this.

      I think Poilievre understands we are in a class war, but he still needs to prove to us whether he will fight hard for us peons… or ultimately bend to the will of the elite-run establishment, like so many Conservative leaders before him.

      1. Pierre is on record praising the WEF in the past. Where was he last year during the election ? Not a single one of the established parties in Canada is going to save us. There is only one solution to this and it isn’t pretty.

          That’s from the Toronto Star, no fan of Poilievre. You claim “Pierre is on record praising the WEF in the past”. If he’s on record you should have no trouble giving a citation for that.

            I realize that these are videos. But given the amount of coverage that Pierre gets from the bought and paid for media as the approved boogie man “opposition”…well…
            But please, do go on deluding yourself that voting for the blue or red side will ever make a difference. The people running this show are way ahead of you. You want change via elections? Vote for non party affiliated individuals and encourage others to do this in as many ridings as possible. I know that this is virtually impossible given the media control in this country and that a bunch of unrelated MPs would make it very difficult to govern the country but voting in the same old parties will never make a difference. The are corrupted from the start.
