Strange things are happening in South Texas:
A Texas blogger paid by Democratic Rep. Vicente Gonzalez’s campaign is attacking Republican opponent Rep. Mayra Flores as “Miss Frijoles” and a “cotton-pickin’ liar,” prompting a wave of denunciations by fellow Democrats.
The language first surfaced three days after Gonzalez’s campaign wrote a $1,200 check to The McHale Report blog June 24 for “advertising services,” according to the Democrat’s Federal Election Commission finance report.
Jerry McHale is the pale white blogger in question and, post after post, his horrific racist bonafides are exemplified with most every single post. Thankfully Mayra Flores is not backing down and is calling out her opponent and his Racist Blogger BFF for their deep-seated hatred.
Democrats have been watching fellow-Democrats be open racists for years now.
They won’t give a shit about this Democrat being racist, either.
It will be interesting to watch once CW2 breaks out how the exodus of brain addled leftists will unfold in Texas. And believe me, there are plenty. The entire population of Austin, for example. California, Oregon, Washington, New York, Massachusetts are at least several days drive away, Their EVs won’t make the trip in one charge, that’s for sure. I can see them now asking a hillbilly in Arkansas for a few hours of charging. “You wanna whut? You sure got a purty mouth.”

Poor gambit on the part of Gonzalez. I’m pretty sure the strategy is to skate the edge of racism and attempt to gain a response from Flores that the friendly media can shape to benefit Gonzales. They’re trying to get her to make a comment that can be misinterpreted and built upon. In short, a wedge issue. At this point Flores has pretty solid support and Gonzales needs to chip away at it.
McHale is supposed to try and solicit a mirror response to what he is doing to her. He calls her Ms. Frijoles. They want her to respond in kind and call him something stereotypical of WASP diet. Big deal, right? Well, it would be once the liberal press made it a national story. Hypocrisy is their calling card these days. At this point McHale is trying like hell to solicit a response that can be shaped.

I think the tell on this is that NBC and the San Antonio paper are already doing large stories on some nobody blogger saying stuff. There’s a plan in the works. This is the set-up.
