  12. We returned to Canada recently and two members of my family received the email from ArriveCan informing them to quarantine for 14 days and just recently to go get a covid test. We were confused about these emails. Didn’t these requirements stop a few months ago. Good to know it’s just another “glitch” coming from an incompetent government.

Its all about controlling the publics ability of movement without prior permission, the high gas and diesel prices are part of it, so is the the airport fiasco, the increased prices for everything you buy. Trudeau has recently made comments about making “Arrive Can” a permanent program, again it is another element and method to control the populace and dictating what they are allowed to do after getting approval from some civil serpent bureaucrat.

  16. I travelled to the US last week via land border with my kid for a baseball tournament. No problem getting across the American border (just normal questions) and we were through.

    Going home I refused the App, gave a passport, said that’s all that’s needed. Declared 10 white claws as I’d drank 2 earlier that day. They sent me to secondary where I was asked for a phone number, I refused, then asked for an address, I refused. Then they asked me to speak with public health. I said no thanks. They asked why I was not cooperating. I told them I was cooperating.

    This went on for 1.5 hours but I asked if I was being detained. No you’re free to go but expect a visit from the police to be fined.

    So far nothing. It’s been 9 days.
