Where were your voices when your unjabbed colleagues were getting fired?

Canada’s Health-Care System is supposedly on the Brink of Disaster:

Canadian nursing leaders say they’ve sent a message to the premiers as they meet this week that patients and nurses are suffering through a “dire staffing crisis” that threatens the sustainability of public health care.

A statement from Linda Silas, president of the Canadian Federation of Nurses, says the system is “on the brink of disaster” and nursing leaders shared proposed solutions today as the premiers start their Council of the Federation meeting.

Silas says nurses have been “struggling through extreme staffing shortages, forced overtime and cancelled vacations, with no end in sight” to untenable conditions.

  1. I have no doubt that Canada’s socialist health system is continuing its downward spiral but, please, it’s not because the premiers don’t have enough money. BC’s Horgan just committed another $2.7 billion to useless climate policies and wanted to throw $1 billion at a plan to create a fake-history museum.

They have lots of money. What they lack is intelligence.

    1. Intelligence is soooooooo racist! Doncha know that everyone is a genius in xim/xer/xit’s own way?

    2. Whoregun, comrade Dix, Bonnie Hitler the whole NDP gang gave themselves raises too. Nice racket.

They’re all getting big fat taxpayer funded pensions too, those will kick in when the NDP are done destroying the health care system and the Provincial economy, these fascist aren’t done terrorizing the public just yet.

Forego their personal raises and scrap the corrupt politician/ bureaucrat “pension plan” and re-direct all that taxpayer money into the health care system. Will that solve the “crisis” ? of course not, nothing can stop the Titanic from sinking, but why the hell should the politicians and bureaucrats that caused the “crisis” in the first place be rewarded for their malignant incompetence.

Close the border, slow immigration .

Its always perversely humorous when the very people that caused the crisis in the health care system in the first place start yammering on about the “crisis in the health care system” and how the system is on the verge of collapse.
Yes, because you caused the crisis assholes… I mean you really gotta be some kind of sociopathic Alinskyite to shovel such demonic bullshit.

  2. Nurses Unions right across the board folded like cheap suits. Unlike during the SARS “epidemic” where they took the Province to court (in Ontario anyways) and actually won… and that was just over masks.
Threw their dues paying, non compliers right under the bus.

    1. BCGEU did the same to their unjabbed members. I was one of them. They couldn’t throw us under the bus fast enough. But I did get to learn the union head’s bloody pronouns, she got that in right up front.
      Priorities, right?

  3. How many left the profession because their consciences wouldn’t let them repeat the lies about the jabs and the injuries?

How many are stressed out because they have to repeat the lies to keep their jobs?

How many have been injured by the jabs and are missing shifts or off work altogether?

  4. I got a call yesterday from the Alberta medical examiner’s office. The very pleasant woman on the line was calling regarding the death of my beloved wife, January 30th of this past year.

Her question was: What kind of medications were your wife taking prior to her death?

I explained I did not know and that my Bride was not one to take medications due to her health history. She was far more holistic and naturopathic inclined as she was far more interested in getting out in front of being ill as opposed to being treated.

She asked a few more questions as to the possibility of over the counter meds. I explained that we had thrown out a bunch of stuff already so I couldn’t help her.

Then, I asked what THEY had found. She then told me of some things which would have taken chemical analysis to confirm. I then asked why they were asking me then? She stumbled over a non-answer and then joyfully said that the 9-12 month report could possibly be ready in another couple of months…earlier than expected.

There is way more to that call than what meets the eyes or ears. Not sure what yet.

Anyone out there have any information which may be helpful?

Incompetence or malice is what I see. The medical examiner never even did an autopsy!!!

  5. I got two interesting emails in my company inbox yesterday; one nearly incomprehensible form one from HR that appears to be them finalizing booting my ass for not being vaxxed and one announcing bonuses for finding new employees.

  6. There should be a word combining Schadenfreude and Karma to reflect the joy you feel in watching the comeuppance of incompetent people for something that was inevitable. This train wreck was visible for years thats how slow motion it was and even now the cars are still piling up since the rear locomotive is still driving the train (should check that rear locomotive for Monkeypox though!) Well now that I’ve mentioned the dreaded MP I should dispell the rumour that Justine and Butts walked into a Montreal clinic, hand in hand, for the MP vaccine, I don’t place more than 50% credibility on that rumour.

  7. ‘president of the Canadian Federation of Nurses, says the system is “on the brink of disaster’

Nice opening gambit for a big fat raise. Many of us are on the brink of personal disaster with no chance of getting out. I don’t begrudge anyone making a living wage but enough with the arm-waving, headless chicken, hair on fire disaster talk.

    1. Nurses, along with teachers, are overwhelmingly female, overwhelmingly left-wing, overwhelmingly over-credentialed, overwhelmingly entitled, and overwhelmingly underqualified.

They don’t suddenly become credible, trustworthy actors because for a change they’re saying something we happen to agree with. The system is on the brink of disaster at least partly because of the nurses unions.

  8. Seems to me that it is one thing for those of us who comprise the Great Unwashed to do our own research and point out that the WHO and our governments initially downplayed the severity and transmissibility of COVID-19, told us that it couldn’t make the jump from animals to humans, told us that it had a survivability rate of 99.7% , that masks wouldn’t work, that a ‘vaccine’ was two years away and still wouldn’t work on an airborne respiratory virus even if we *did* manage to create one, etc, etc. Once we got further into this, even more information on the fast-tracked shiny new ‘vaccine’ came to light…the alarmingly number of side-effects, the fact that it *didn’t actually work* to prevent infections or re-transmission, the need for ‘boosters’ every few months (forever?). We pointed out this information, chose not be be ‘vaccinated’, and were subsequently met met with ridicule, denigration, name-calling and even threats from both the establishment who were now MAKING BILLIONS OF DOLLARS selling this stuff and from their fearful, ignorant lackeys in the news media and general public.

I accept that. Ignorance is bliss, as they say.

But when the front-line health care workers, the people who live with this and see the effects *on a daily basis* of both the virus itself and the so-called ‘vaccine’ used to treat it, when THOSE people start sounding the alarm and refusing to be vaccinated? THAT’S when you should start listening, don’t you think?

  9. Could it be that destroying the national health system is part of the plan for achieving Net Zero 2050 by killing off a lot of the population before then?

  10. If the system is on the brink of disaster, then maybe we need a draft. Register all non-military citizens between 16-40, put them through nursing programs according to intelligence level, and assign them shifts as part of a national emergency. We conscripted men twice in the 20th century for war –I don’t see why we can’t conscript the public to do bs nursing work to free up Canada’s professional nurses to go back to making tiktok videos.

  11. Start by taking two of every three senior health care administrators out back and shooting them in the back of the head, ChiCom style. That’ll solve a lot of the budget problem. Then visit the provincial medical associations, shut them down and execute the executives. That’ll solve the criminal lying about COVID problem. Then talk to the nurses’ unions.

  12. About a decade ago, a friend noticed that a govt publication identified nursing as a high priority career choice for students because of a shortage of nurses. She checked with all the community colleges about recruiting foreign students to enroll. That was a no go because all the spaces had been filled and they could not accept new students. Then she checked to see what foreign nurses had to do to be qualified to practice in Ontario. She was told that they needed to take the Canadian courses and pass the exam. So that was a dead end.

So the govt which created the shortage by only allowing a certain number to be trained should accept their responsibility for the current crisis. They’ve know about the shortage for decades and did nothing to permit more entrants into the profession. They compounded that by bungling health care management. Hospitals and institutions requiring nurses had to hire only part-time nurses to keep their costs down. Nurses had to accept two or more part-time positions to make a living wage. To top it all off, nurses are constantly having to change employers as staffing levels were changed. Is it any wonder they are stressed and fed up?

  13. I’m sick of them screaming the “Sky is falling”, for over two years surgery wards were empty, general wards empty, cancer centers almost empty. So cry me a river, for two years you could walk through our hospitals and see only board nurses socializing with goggles, face masks and shields on. It took my brother two years to die from cancer, and those two years were comprised of the covid hysteria machine consuming our medical profession. I am no longer interested in the media’s assertion that “I must protect the medical industry” No I will not- it’s bad enough I’m forced to fund that disfunctional system.

    1. Your brother isn’t the only one. Today I read that Bramwell Tovey, conductor of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, just died of cancer. The story said he was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in 2019, and then surgery *in 2021* left him cancer-free for awhile, but it recurred and proved fatal. Two years from cancer diagnosis until surgery? What kind of medical care is that? But that was right in the middle of our WuFlu madness; something as trivial as cancer surgery had to be sacrificed to keep the hospital hallways pristine and clear for patients who never arrived.

  14. Does it mean that following the ‘vaccine’ dogma is of higher order than the (free) health care calling?

  15. As a Canadian I’ve resigned myself to the fact that if I get sick I will die. That’s just the way it is when you have the best healthcare system in the world.

  16. Try notifying a College of Nurses of an incompetent, fraud committing, disturbed RN; the aggressive pushback from the College lawyers may be a showstopper. If you wish to pursue the issue make sure you have deep pockets and lots of time. They will fight you every step of the way. Examples of serial murdering RNs can be found on-line, eg: Wettlaufer, London, ON.
Their death toll has to be pretty significant, and blatant, before they are removed.
A once respected profession, prior to being unionized and administratively mismanaged.

  17. The institution too big to fail was always on the brink of disaster. The lockdowns, ect further exposed that.

What one sees here is the political class among the medical community panicking because their actions have come back to bite them.

    It is to laugh.

  18. Union leaders are political leaders of organized crime. Health care workers and teachers being in the public sector and unionized are in conflict of interest and as they occupy one side of the negotiating table they seek to control the other, leaving no one to represent the people that employ them. They are always fighting the last or the next provincial election. Our health care system is a monopoly tentacle of state leviathan – unaccountable, systemically driven to rationing of care, and institutionally bound to leftist partisan control. As far as it being “on the brink of disaster”, how would one discern that? By the length of waiting times? crowded waiting rooms? Apathic care givers? Good luck with that.

  19. maybe some one should have mentioned that Don Trump was right about the therapeutic benefit of HCQ!

  20. During the last COVID years, I and my family have been abused and maltreated by incompetent and malicious members of this so-called profession. We’ve been lied to, unreasonably quarantined, screamed at, bullied, and even on one occasion physically dropped from a patient lift (with nurses who were clearly incompetent and not following clear instructions). There are some good nurses, of course, perhaps 1 in 10. The rest are OT-living zombies. I am all out of sympathy. If you and yours are suffering, suck it up.

  21. When health ministries go to the antivax staff who were canned, on their knees with $ in hand, begging them to return to the fold, maybe I will feel some sympathy for them.

    1. “When health ministries go to the antivax staff who were canned, on their knees with $ in hand, begging them to return to the fold, maybe I will feel some sympathy for them.”

Ontario was already forced to do so. Looks good on them.

  22. Many of the health care pros quit because of all the idiots who wouldn’t get vaccinated and got critically ill. And also abused staff. Your body, your choice. Correct. But choices have and should have consequences. Covid vaccine refuseniks should be at the back of the line for ICU beds. They should not be allowed to displace people that need critical cancer and heart treatments. Real Christians get vaccinated!

    1. “Covid vaccine refuseniks should be at the back of the line for ICU beds.”
Along with smokers and the obese, right?

      1. “Along with smokers and the obese, right?”

And people who call themselves ‘Hoppsing.

  23. The Union Boss, Doris Grinspun of the Registered Nurses’ Association of Ontario salary increased from $407,148 to $516,118 in 2020 & to $565,490 in 2021.

    https://www.ontariosunshinelist.com/people/doris-grinspun/registered-nurses-association-of-ontario

“Pension spiking, sometimes referred to as “salary spiking”, is the process whereby public sector employees are granted large raises, bonuses, incentives or otherwise artificially inflate their compensation in the time immediately preceding retirement in order to receive larger pensions than they otherwise would be entitled to receive”

Our governments & public sector are plundering everything.

  24. This is a good thing: “,,, a “dire staffing crisis” that threatens the sustainability of public health care. …” and it will be a better thing if it actually fulfills that threat, ending “public health care.”
