  1. As PJW pointed out the other day, many took Andy’s advice.

  2. What a shame, lol

I see this more and more at work, especially with just about every single one of the new hires fresh out of college with their stupid e-mail signatures. If people only knew what woke, mindless idiots they look like.

  3. Andy’s an asshole. Hopefully the bank goes tits up because that’s a real dick move.

    1. Which is the real Halifax? The one that’s been around for a thousand years or the shitty little east coast town named after it?

  4. Yes and not a word from senior management. As in Andy and his team has agreed to seek employment elsewhere. It is the management that needs to fired immediately and the entire board of directors ask what the hell is going on. It seems that so many senior management are running scared of all these idiots. Gutless dweebs.

  5. Yeah, the corporate world is getting in on the woke action. We’ve come a long way I’d say – There was a time we all had to put up with the “Occupy Wall St.” nonsense AKA “The Summer of Whine”… fast forward a few years and J.P.Morgan has a float in NY’s Pride Parade.
World’s crazy and we’re just along for the ride.

  6. Ya know, Talk about throwing down the Gauntlet. Its hilarious as I had Back in 1997, a Scotia Bank Employee asking me as to why I was closing my accounts at their BANK..?? I told her flat out – SERVICE Fees are THEFT and I refuse to pay them…

She replied, “well you don’t have any choice”

“REALLY..?? I just opened up 2 accounts with Presidents Choice”

Her reply was classic BRAIN DEAD reply..
“Oh well they are only on the Web and have no brick & mortar establishments”
Perfect I said…no need to ever step inside your bank ever again…Tata, Adios.

Funny that, been with them (now Simplii), ever since – have never once in that time been charged a “SERVICE Fee”….and saved thousands.

The Big Banks can shove their Theft up their collective (_i_)’s.
My mantra then and it remains valid to date.

As to the above “inclusion” garbage…i’d switch in a Heartbeat…

    1. I’m with you. Went with PC, now Simplii, many years ago, and have never looked back. There’s nothing I need a bank to do. My GF said “We need it to get American currency.” Last trip, she changed $1,000 at the bank, and I went to the currency exchange on Yonge St. I ended up with $20 more – not a big deal, but again, who needs the bank?
