A Western University social media post supporting the fight against homophobia included an illustration of two women in hijabs about to kiss …
I’m not going to spoil the ending, because you already know how it ends.

Sorry I have had a few buds but what comes to mind is the immovable object subject to ultamute force? Yeah im sorry. There is a saying I can’t remember. I just work for a living. ( I hate even texting my teacher friends… always grading simple texts)

FAVE QUOTE/RATIONALISATION
“In order to promote that discussion, we have removed the image from the post
to not distract from these important conversations.”
Side benefit… nobody gets beheaded.

Interesting that this story which is carried by the National Post as well as it’s sister publication the Toronto Sun are both not allowing public comments on this story.
.
Because they’re cowards
It’s in the London Free Press and yeah, that was the first thing I noticed.

Because they’re afraid of getting Charlie Hebdoed.

Good thing it was an illustration and not a pic with two real muslim models. They’d be in hiding right now. Or perhaps their families would have already reclaimed their honour…..and both heads.
It would have been more accurate to show a Moslem man backdooring a young lad.
Anyone see the irony that this came about in the same neighborhood that was falling over itself to push the “our Muslim Family” last year?
It’s like the scene in Mel Brooks history of the world where Caesars wife is inspecting the Guards and picking which ones will be working the orgy detail.
Moral integrity? What’s that? We got moving goal posts to manage to keep up with the current thing.
Sorry religion of peace trumps the alphabet people.
…religion of peace trumps the alphabet people
Could also phrase that as “flying planes into buildings trumps crying over pronouns”.
Every comment I made today is being held for moderation. Looks like there will soon be nowhere to go.
Spam filter glitch, don’t take it personally.
Whenever I hit the site and it does not load or I get the “cannot establish database connection” message, I think “Well, they got Kate.”
It’s probably not healthy to assume that someone’s been murdered by the state just because their website won’t load. But that seems to be where we are.
No problem. SPAM the meet may be the gourmet meal of the future the way retail meat prices are going
You and me both … too many “bad words” I guess. The only “bad word” I could guess was being filtered was my use of the color “white”. I shall refrain from referring to my whitey-ness.
That’s a lot of typing time gone to the ether forever … oh well.
Sickening, we’re suppose to so diverse and tolerant thus they erase the gay community from the Muslim community. Can you imagine the media outrage if Christians responded like the Muslim community did?
Someone should ask the imam to clarify where in the Koran it says two Muslim women can’t kiss while wearing a hijab.
does cut down on the one way helicopter rides/
trying to remember if the media cut down on the display of the piss Jesus crucifix. nah, I remember , they didnt
I know better, but you have to admit that this would be a real beauty if these supposedly unintended consequences were anticipated and intended. 🙂
If the debauchery of the Islamic Heaven, with all the intact hymens and orgiastic fukery were put on a poster, the Imams would have to resort to a display of Taqiya never imagined by their prophet, the angry, lecherous, hash-smoking abomination.
They would not have taken down the illustration if it were of two nuns kissing even if the Pope complained.
What does that teach you about power?
