      1. Rhodesia was even worse after it was re-named Zimbabwe. Twenty years ago, gangs of “war veterans”, as Bobby Mugabe referred to them, invaded white-owned farms, claiming them as “compensation”. Many of the “veterans” were far too young to have participated in the war in question.

         Naturally, many of those operations were run into the ground for the same reasons as you cited for South Africa.
