  1. Some denominations do not support military chaplains because they do not believe preachers should be told how to preach by the government.

    1. Maybe its time to do away with chaplains or have each unit vote on who they want. I would consider it sacrilege to converse with a Muslim chaplain other than to point out he is a tool of the devil.

  3. On one hand, we are at the brink of Total War with a fierce and implacable enemy. We face extinction at the hands of a despicable enemy. There are commenters on this blog who are very vocal about the peril.

    On the other hand, the leadership, whose state media preach Total War, are diverting resources from Total War to this trivial issue.

    The leadership is either daft, or liars.

    As for those who embrace the government position, are you a deceived well meaning innocent, or a deceiver? Perhaps you should be paid more. Or trained better.

      Without making any judgements, because I know there are those out there that would like to jump all over me for my views on marriage, I will suggest to those individuals to look around you. The sky has indeed fallen.

So Justine if a Muslim female gets raped in the military will she be required to present four witnesses that it happen according to Sharia Law? Who’d want to serve in Justine’s military, I’d break my husbands good leg if he ever tried to remuster into that vile organization.

  7. A couple of years ago, this news would have pissed me off. But every major faith bowed down to Caesar and the devil during thus Wuhan flu BS and stayed absolutely mute as members of their flocks were persecuted.

    You can count on one hand the preachers who did their job … and still have a digit left over to tell all the rest of them where to go.

  9. It doesn’t bother me whatsoever. I lean right as much as anyone here. But, I’ve never seen the need to have a clerical middle-man intercede on my behalf to tell me I was “forgiven”. If I am TRULY repentant, God will see it in my heart, and I will know. What lies in the hearts of these soldiers is for them to figure out and for God to see.

    1. Once, Chaplains would help with morale, now I guess they’re there to make sure you don’t misgender the enemy,

Assuming your faith is in following Jesus Christ, you will note that there is a verse somewhere in the new testament (I’m not a biblical scholar, so don’t ask me where it is) that suggests that Jesus gave his followers the authority to forgive. Those that are forgiven on Earth will be forgiven in Heaven. Conversely, those whom you do not forgive on Earth will not be forgiven in heaven.
      Someone else can look up the exact verse, and tell me if I’ve got it wrong.

  10. Many years ago in a communist run country, far away on another continent, we had a unit commander, usually a captain. Then we had another commander with the same authority, that character was called political commander.
    It was a useless position, in out unit we called him padre, much the same purpose only in communist religion.

    It definitely looks as though the canadian officers are well beyond that. They have adopted and vastly improved on the bullshit.

    1. This happened some years ago.

      As anybody that ever passed through the airport, the snooper agents like to confiscate things that they consider to be ‘danger to the public’.
      At Calgary airport they had this thing they called chaplaincy.
      So as it happened, every so often three or four months apart, the collected stuff was given to the chaplain guy to be sold and proceeds to be used for said chaplaincy.
      The chaplain guy was of Christian persuasion from the beginning.
      The whole thing came to an end about 5-6 years ago.
      The chaplain guy said that they kicked them out. When asked who is going to replace it, he would not say directly, though you could gather that it would be some middle eastern religion.

      And so it was.

    1. An enemy soldier is not “your fellow man.”
      Warfare is the traditional way of settling acute scarcity of resources, it is preferable to totalitarianism. Die on your feet vs live on your knees, and all that. All that really needs to be done is allow warfare to obey the Pareto distribution, the same thing that should be done to economics.

  15. Well, au revoir to the Vingt Deuxieme Regiment. I can attest that Roman Catholic Padres are inclusive. I played army hockey against 3 of them. They were the dirtiest players on the ice and hammered us all equally. I can see a Babylon Bee headline all ready. “Jesus Christ application to CAF denied due to lack of equity and inclusion beliefs. Mr. Christ only believed in loving strangers and neighbours. Would not offer crucifixion to the rest of mankind . . .”

  16. You have to admire the hubris though. People so woke that they figure they are arbiter of the Truth over half a dozen religions’s Gods. Making their own Commandements over them. And they threrefore shall be banned from the CF.
