I met him and LL last weekend and thanked them both for running. LL had a great speech and so did PP. But the energy level PP generated just by entering the room was unparalleled. He owned the room, he was the rock star, he was crowded by people asking for photos and looking to shake his hand. Charest or Brown did not even register with the crowd… and that was a centrist squishy riding.

Saw one of the paid scribes try to equate Poliviere’s attack on Charade to Iggy’s dig “we didn’t get it done” to Dion. Tried to imply the outcome of this would not be good, and by doing so somehow implying this would be giving ammo to the liberals.
The paid scribe was only partially right about the comparison in that it they both made a dig at the liberal party, the optics for a liberal hit piece not so much.
It also emphasized another point of who wants Charade to be the next conservative leader and it isn’t anyone that would consider voting conservative.
I’ll repeat my other contention that if the Charade wants to be leader of a federal party he should wait for the liberals to declare their leadership open.
